Not to mention sometimes when you're laggy it takes forever, or pc/laptop users can get into a potato server and none of the UI game buttons work... The amount of times I was stuck in the game not being able to teleport or open my journal was insane. I hate how it changes which realm you spawn in when campus 4 is bound to be hella laggy..
60k dims max should allow u to get full set i dont care. why the fuck do players need to farm 1m-2m for all that shit on a kids roleplaying game? theres a reason why that aspect died bc ppl are too focused on grinding to interact with others, and im afraid im victim of that too :/

exactly it's disgusting to me that an IN GAME SET would cost more than 60k diamonds. if you have an ACTUAL life and don't have the time to spend all day diamond farming or whatever you'd have to spend a lot robux to even be able to get ONE item from a set which obviously means you'd have to spend real life currency.
REAL grinding without gamepasses is also even worse im one of these people that don't have gamepasses and pretty sure 100k is now considered cheap (bro..) if i start with 15k dims and grind for like 2 hours I'll end up with like 16k (rh cant be srs)

i remember when campus 3 first came out, there weren't so many loading screens. you could just walk down the halls and go into whatever room you wanted, there was a loading screen for the office and classes hadn't been added yet. also the castles heart used to be called the locker courtyard and looked a LOT different & was honestly a lot better imo. the bathing quarters entrance was close to the spawn point and you could just walk in the doors

I feel like the loading screens are to keep u in the game for longer. Even if it's only for a few seconds the amount of times u go into other areas the seconds add up. Or maybe I'm overthinking it and they just added it to be pretty or wtv😮💨

Sunset island is kinda fun to me cause I remember (a year ago?) you still got diamonds even if you didn’t win, and the system for voting is SO much better than dti and it girl. It’s fun to dress up and see the outfits anyway
I love Royale high and it was one of my first games i played on roblox and it's so sad (for me) to see it's downfall and the prices in the game going up I remember when you had the dear dollie heels you were rich and also I'm not a big fan of the campus 3 and I miss when people would actually rp I miss rp with other people too I miss making friends on the game I miss my favorite rh RUclipsrs play it but she doesn't anymore because of the downfall and I just miss when it was better and more fun and when their were more players and youtubers playing.. 💔
Like- somehow, it's horrible for both old players and new players. ppl aren't focused on the gameplay of roleplay anymore because they're too busy grinding for diamonds. RH Is just a rich kid's game now, there isn't any heart left from when it was enchantix. Just pure greed looking for children's money
I joined royale high in 2017 and have been playing on and off throughout the years and these are my thoughts: The main issue is the fact that developers decide on a project, start making it and then ditch everything else that came to be before it which is the main reason so many people keep quitting and coming back. It's the lack of updates, lack of bug fixes on time. I simply hate how other realms are just forgotten and left to function poorly. Sunset island had so much potenial to be a lot more and give more, but it was left behind as a broken toy would be including other previous realms. Why constantly create new realms and places when you can just work on upgrading and making the existing ones better? When campus 3 finally came out I was amazed but that excitement was short lived when YET again we were hit with "coming soon" projects that still to this day never came to be and now we're already moving onto campus 4 instead of just making campus 3 better. What really sealed the deal for me personally is how masculine players are treated. Royale high might've had less masculine players THEN but NOW it's a lot different. One year later and they still couldn't fix human arms and bodice toggles for masc players. At what point does it become embarrassing for a game this big? And then they release so many new toy related sets which yet again, do not include a single masc toggle. Not to mention, masc players can hardly use seasonal items (christmas, easter, valentines, st patricks day, etc.) because those can not be toggled to fit masculine bodies. Time and time again, rh team is letting masc players know that they do not care about them. It's sad to see a game that holds so much nostalgia and memories for me die this quickly but I can honestly understand why. I can't understand what they're thinking when they're deciding on these projects and updates (as someone who studied business and marketing). I guess they assumed players will eat up anything they give because it's children that play. Whatever happens from here, it's completely on them.
i agree so much its a shame that this is happening but they truely did dig their grave people have stopped playing and have spoken out about the game but they still think that they are doing "great".
im an OG royale high player and the prices are what put me off from playing royale high again. i dont have access to any of my old accounts so if i were to play that'd mean id have to start over completely which would suck so bad unless i spent literal robux on the game to start with a bunch of diamonds 😭🙏

I played it back in 2017, and when I saw those prices rise, I logged off so fast bro😭 I honestly only played Royal High for the RP and not necessarily for the clothes and stuff, but recently, it just been about dressing up more than role-playing lmao. In 2022, I tried getting back into the game since I was bored, and I'm pretty sure it was the lockdown. Royal high in 2022 was alright at that time, but the prices really threw me off- That was the last time I played Royal High and mainly for that reason. I'm not hating on royal high or anything. I'm just saying that like all the high pricing and robux to even enjoy the game really put me off. Royal High has so much potential!!! But the developers, most of the time screw it up :/

The toy codes were a TERRIBLE idea, imo. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the game was absolutely loved, but players were already disappointed and giving up before they came out. And to get the items without buying the toys, you need 1mi+ diamonds??? Royale High is prioritizing the people who can simply pull their money and buy everything they release, while the rest will most likely never have the chance to afford that. Being a new player is extremely hard nowadays, unless you're rich.

RH was one of the most breathtaking and biggest games on Roblox. I always used to play RH and took it seriously unlike any other game. It's unfortunate how much RH has fallen.
I feel like adding trading was another big part of it’s downfall, just like adopt me it became a game all about grinding for the best items, and trying to get the newest rarest thing.
Another problem with the toys I haven’t seen ppl bring up: most ppl will only buy the dolls for the codes, so where will the actual toys go?: Probably A LANDFILL, or the OCEAN. Not only are these toys jut stupid, expensive, and annoying, but probably terrible for the environment! Barbie even claims to care a lot about the environment, but them turns around and does this?
i thought about buying a doll for my 6 year old sister’s birthday because she’s just at that age where she loves dolls, and i thought i might as well get a code out of it too, but i realized i didn’t want to spend 15 dollars on a toy my sister might not like. I also didn’t want to support this toy code revolution that royale high is pushing nor do i want to support jazwares. But absolutely yes you make an amazing point about all the plastic waste being created by these toy releases.
My friend keeps trying to get me to roleplay in Royal High but everytime I join it gets more and more greedy. During the holloween event I finally decided to give it a chance but quickly felt disdain as i realized they took away the already small bit of free stuff players were given. There are no longer pre-made dorms for new players to choose from, just a blank room. Diamonds don't scatter the campus anymore, now you have to level up to get 300 diamonds that will be wasted getting food and other products for quests that require it. Oh you want more diamonds? Then pay us TWO SEPARATE gampass so you can earn 1,300 diamonds instead. Now you can afford those 70,000D boots in 53+ levels instead of the orginal 233+ levels. Oh you can't do the quest? Then just wait AN HOUR. Don't want to wait? Then pay for extra slots. You want affordable clothing that doesn't cost $100? Then buy one of our low effort $10-$20 dolls. PAY PAY PAY PAY.
Here’s me yapping about my Royale high experience as a “New player” I actually just lost my account in the middle of 2021 causing me to not play royale high for a few years only coming back officially on September 1st. Sadly there aren’t a lot of nice players anymore, I have ran into way more extremely rude players than nice players which is sad. Now, as a “new player” I struggled to navigate the new school. Anytime I tried asking a player (usually were wearing a lot of items at once) just simply where things are or how to do a task they usually tell me to go off myself or even tell me to just “go back to brookeheaven where you belong.” Anytime I tell an older player about the rude players they always ask “what did you do to upset them so they react like that.” I don’t know??? how is asking where the front office is so triggering that they said horrible things to me. The scammers in trading hub are insane as well. A friend who helped me navigate the school and helped me find all chest in the game currently. They gave me 100k the second I got to trading level to try help me out on my royale high journey, and a scammer tried to tell me the dear dollie heels were a rare out of game item and are worth 150k but since I’m new they drop it to 100k, they didn’t know I was an og player playing from 2018-2021 I knew those heels aren’t rare and in fact are still in the shop. Another annoying thing is the bullying of avatars, I was bullied into asking my friend for help on getting the Whimsy Witch heels and corset since players told me the gothicutie set was so freaking ugly and I need to change it. I’m a masc player and thought the set looked amazing on masc bodies. Or they tell me to stop being lazy and grind diamonds through doing the task in journals but proceed to have both 2x and 4x diamond passes. In conclusion, not only is royale high extremely hard to get clothes in a dress up/roleplay game but caused inflation of halos and just straight up things that don’t cost diamonds (candy items) but players are extremely rude and toxic straight up bullies to be honest and the greedy players are insane. I offically have played new Royale high for a month and can see how badly the downfall is. If Royale high doesn’t lower there pricing or make it easier to obtain diamonds I don’t think Royale high will really survive. What’s really making me want to quit is the toxicity honestly. I miss the old days.
The last straw for me was halloween of last year tbh 💀😭 I loved the halo so i spent the whole event (like 50+ days) grinding the heck out of the fountain for it, literally had a 2 hour timer on my phone 24/7 But apparently halo odds are SO low not even that was enough, now i've just accepted i'll never have my dream item because inflation made it like 5m diamonds I find it so funny when ppl say "it's a 1% chance" like girl you either never grinded that fountain or you dont know how percentages work...💀 Thank god now i have a life so i dont even have the time to grind rh anyway
real, i joined when rh was only enchantix yet i didnt have heels for most of my time playing (i only had chicken leg heels) and people straight up made fun of me for that 🙏💀 for a dress up game ts is crazy, mb i dont want to spend my entire life grinding (i ended up getting diamonds by doing dailies in the apartment which is SO much better)
i think one of the worse thing they do is that whenever players discover a way to farm easier (apple bobbing, ghost potion and pumpkin patch, the easier way to do the dungeon obby) theyre immediately going to patch/remove that farming method bc god knows why but continue to ignore the other glaring problems of the game (2 problematic people on the leaderboard, the 'masc' items, the current farming) its so infuriating
not to mention the innocent players who are on the leaderboard who get banned for USING THEIR OWN LEVELING UP SYSTEM????? is that not insane??? also their support email(idk what its called) is so horrible, if your account gets wrongly banned and you email them and lily responds to you well unfortunately your account is staying banned bc that customer service employee is just going to deny everything you'll say/show
My worse problem is not just the massive inflation but how much they're kicking out male and masculine players because they're making everyone look the exact same with the "new" body types and it's so painful. The game was already girly enough but they had started adding male counterparts to outfits and now these past few years they decided to regress that progress entirely! Seriously, it feels like im being told "you're a woman and girly because you like dress up games" which gives me terrible gender disphoria and I hate it!
Hello! I joined royale high in late 2022 to play with a friend so I thought I would give my take on how it was for a newer play. It was absolutely terrible to catch up with my friend, the prices and level requirements are way to high. It took months of grinding for like an hour every day to get to the trading hub since it 75 LEVELS (god i wish it was 40) and this was before the new campus. The price of everything else is also insanely high and super hard to get without any multipliers. Even Halloween grinding was a bit much as it was (from my math) like 2 hours of grinding trick or treat every day to get the sp set, which was very repetitive. We recently joined again and are very upset at the lack of Wickery Cliffs this year :'c But also lovely video ❤ your content is great :D

Yes I completely understand the grind is real a little to real in fact, and for new players it is not beginner friendly so you’re forced to sit there and grind for days on end till you get bored and tired of the game. I hate that it makes it where your forced to play even when you don’t want to, and its sad I want to be able to enjoy the game even as a new player but it feels almost impossible to do so cause you need diamonds to do that🥲😪
@@CallMehWinkle honestly we only stopped playing after the whole male body type controversy XD it was already frustrating to find nice masc outfits- and ik its just a dress up game and I can very much so where a pretty dress- sometimes my transmasc aah self just had those days XD- other than the the quest very much did improve the grinding cycle and I hope what there working on in the alpha campus will help with the rp aspect- real wish every new set wasn't a higher and higher price though :'(
if royale high didn't die sooner, it died when campus 3 came out for me, and had its grave spat in over the masc toggle debacle. i doubt many would agree with me, but i miss the old enchantix and hotel maps so much. despite every issue the game had prior with trading, the game's economy and the death of roleplay in the community overall- i could find some kind of plot to either spectate or join because the old maps were where all the nostalgia was. between that, the masculine toggles and now just coming back to the game to see that the newer sets are barred behind buying dolls that support politics that many disagree with makes me feel unwelcome in the game. cosmetics are barred off by either buying dolls or committing hours to farming- and with newer items, the "masculine" toggles can barely be called that (which as a masc/nonbinary person really sucks), roleplay is sparse (from my personal experience) so the only thing to do is commit to farming which only spawns a cycle of "farm, buy something, farm more" until the inevitable burnout. it's a lot of work just to get items to make your character, just for very few people to be interested or invested in a rp plot.

I’ve been trying to point out that items were overpriced and becoming obnoxious for awhile now lol, but everyone just rolled their eyes and called me ‘lazy’ because I wasn’t willing to farm and incorporate Royale High (a literal virtual Roblox game) into my schedule for like hours per day. Like what was even the point? You farm, farm and farm. Get all the items you want. Then what? Nobody is going to look at your new items or roleplay, because they’re too busy farming as well. The developers also has made things way too extravagant as well, which overcomplicated things. I’ve never liked teleportation systems in games. I’d understand to reduce lag you may have to hop from a server or two here or there, but now you have to teleport for EVERYTHING. The reason Royale High was so popular back then was because it was fun for kids and roleplaying, not because it had a million add-ons and mounds of extravagance. The quality of a game should obviously always improve, so Royale High was bound to make some switches but it seemed like they lost the point of the game along the way

this makes me so sad. i've been playing rh since about 2017 and after 2020 i quit playing. i recently tried to get back into it but the game has changed drastically, and not in a good way. everything is so expensive and the grinding is genuinely so time consuming. i hate that i have to spend hours and hours grinding for 1-2m diamonds just for a single set.
I miss those times where we would go to massive egg hunts to get new items, when halloween was actually enjoyable, when prices weren't too insane. The game was so much fun. Its just an empty grinding and pay to win game now.
Something about wickery cliffs and snowglobe summit arriving was just so exciting but when it got moved to the new campus it just felt so boring, there’s nothing that exciting about a few decorations and a overly explensive set. As a roleplayer the game fell of in campus 3 but nones in camous 2 to roleplay with. It was to big and hard to navigate, no balls and overpriced dorms. I miss the old rh it was actually fun to play then😢😢
The items being expensive wouldn't be as much of a problem if there were alternative ways to consistently farm diamonds, but as it stands, only level farming is guaranteed to give you diamonds every time. Every other way of getting diamonds isn't consistent enough to be a viable farming method.
I do hate the inflation on limited sets and the removal is some of the non limited ones. And the OVERPRICED dorm items but I will say the steampunk set is actually fairly priced. (I haven’t played consistently for awhile) and most setvskirts are about 15-30k from what I’m looking at. (Which isn’t cheap but better than most) I have hope with the new campus.
rh died to me as soon as they released the toys. i started playing when enchantix was the main campus and the winx music still played. the economy is horrible and i believe the devs and trading are to blame.
As an OG player who played since 2016-17 it used to be so great, the rps, the easy communication with other people and you could actually MAKE rps and people would randomly join them, especially in the rh classic and the Faerix school it was GREAT plus the Hotel but that's not really the point here rn. Back then the entire game was based ON royale rp, royalty, scholar ect and it was affordable prices like under 1 to 5k for the shoes and also dresses if i remember correctly and as you all know we didn't have much items to rp with but they were still free, the devs were still using their passion as motivation for the game but people wouldn't grind like today, 50k could get you so many things back then and now well it's totally chaotic because even with 1-2M diamonds IT'S STILL NOT ENOUGH. They completely stopped using the purpose of this game and how to make it actually full of passion they changed after Lizzy sadly passed away and all hell broke lose, the trading hub was already out i think at that time but the trading prices were on the players 💀 which were insane for some halos and stuff then they really went in with the "it's time for inflation". What was the purpose behind increasing the prices? To make people buy more diamond packs, passes like 2x or 3 gamepasses ect. It was ballistic, they'd also speak about the new school yet in the new school there's no REAL classes like in the classic or to make it look like we're in a high school, there's no cafeteria to socialise with others, the entire new school is based on farming and farming. I stopped playing RH after losing 3 of my accounts on there due to being banned whenever I'd defend some people or even for unfair trades, scams never got my acc back but at my 3rd account i did try to get all my progress back but nah it was so unmotivating with EVERYTHING, the insane prices the unfair votes in sunset island ect, mind you i had halos on both my old accounts so yes i was mad about losing them, more depressed 🤣 but i didn't give up until a few years back, i used to be so addicted to royale high, not for the grind but for the fun, my friends , the rps but now i don't see a point to play royale high if it's to milk my time and motivation away, the FOMO is crazy too

As someone who bought both of the gamepasses to help with farming, it still took me AGES to be able to buy the snow sawn set, even if when i farm for a while i tend to get to 300k and get bored. The fact that 300k gets you barely anything when talking about the new sets (the doll ones)
I remember when Royale High being huge as hell. Creators like Funneh uploading questionable rp, Leah Ashe's iconic (or my fav) video of her disguising as another girl to see if her bf would cheat and whatnot...
As a male player it’s really sad that I have to stick with simple outfits or just be a female character because the sets with male toggles are morbidly EXPENSIVE

One of my biggest problems with Royal high is the glitches. Half of the items they release don't work with other items and glitch out your entire outfit. I'm someone who spends a lot of time making outfits in games like this, But it takes away from my enjoyment when the character's torso is floating above where it should be.
The worst thing about it, is the fact that even after months, Campus 3's Story Mode is STILL Unplayable for me, it softlocks itself every single time. And they're working on Campus 4 without even bothering to finish Campus 3 or fix it.
Royals high is actually listening , if u looked at campus 4 , it clearly shows the roleplaying aspect , Ofc they can improve and lower prices and other stuff

I don’t know why people complain about that now it’s not that hard to level up now as it was back then level 75 was absurd and basically unachievable if you were a non-contributor to Royal high at the time, but now people don’t really have much to complain about because like honestly you have it better 😤 BACK IN MY DAY you had to work for your levels you couldn’t just do some measly tasks and easily get a level you had to constantly go to classes and work your butt of just to get to level 40 😡

And story mode should be the first thing that should pop up on your screen.. one of my friends told me that they had no idea the story mode even existed when they first joined. I think this was like 56 months ago we aren’t friends anymore, but yea
And also in the dorms ,it very annoying when you were building and you see someone try to glitch in your dorm... They have that maxium fly and try to glitch... And sometimes they will lie they was lagging when it obvious that i can see them try to glitch in.
I loved the game since back before the pandemic even happened, now it’s like just money and money everywhere. I do know RH4 is being made but this will prob cause a massive player loss because of some people’s devices not being able to handle it at all. This might kill the game completely and they will make the game dead for real this time. I remember the proms, I remember the classes. I really wish we had an actual schedule and brought back the old classes and the pro (but up the amount of diamonds from 500 to maybe 1k). Bring back mermaid tails. Make it easier to have candies in Halloween, like bring back the haunted mansion I used to farm there for 1 hours and come out with like- 5k candies. The devs need to realize that they can rework and improve the things we had before but make it better. Like come on, please…
I used to play this game when it was just a simple winx game. I remember players trying to push themselves through the Royal high portal that was "coming soon". When the Royal high realm was unlocked, I was really excited to play the game. Going to classes, buy heels and skirts, dreaming about the outfits that I would eventually be able to buy. But as time went on, I realized. Without the help of Robux I would never get the clothes I wanted. And if I would be able to get those items? I would just grind for more diamonds since no one in my servers wanted to roleplay(or I was too shy to join.) It ruined the game for me when I realized that I didn't enjoy the game as much as I used to. So I quit playing Royal high a very long time ago. I only return to see what's new, then I leave. It's so sad that my happy days of playing Royal high came to an end quickly.
It makes me so sad going to the the old campuses and only spending 5k for a bunk bed. Things are so expensive and you start out with nothing and basic needs like a toothbrush and hairbrush cost money for A THOUSAND DIAMONDS. That just makes the game not welcoming to new players and now new players have made older campuses their new home because of how cheap it is.
Im actually okay if they wanted to inflate the prizes of some items **BUT** they should also _deflate prizes_ too and offer discounts for less desired items. Usually these type of games is categorised as "p2w" because of their increase in prize that seems to never stop. Oh but the paywalling the items you NEED for quests? Scummy move.

At the start of 2024 I played Royale high quite alot JUST because of my friends but slowly we all started to get bored of the game, the updates have been boring because you to farm an unhealthy amount to even get anything now. I didn’t know inflation could also happen IN a game. Overall, I’ve just stopped playing Royale high and gravitate towards other games now, I used to be a full time rh player 3 years ago and was considered rich, AND loved the game, now it’s not the same, It doesn’t feel the same anymore either because of how hard it is to farm, they forget that literal teens play this game, they have school etc we don’t got time to farm all day for a game
Honestly, the only reason why I'm still playing rh, is because of my friend's, and because I genuinely enjoy making outfits. But what's really needed to take notice is the lack of masculine items and sets in game. Y'all need to talk about it more.

But since RH now is not going off of that anymore they need to start adding more body types for both male and female players since their player base is not just made up of girls anymore.

What I find very annoying about this game is that (I was discussing this with my friends) Barbie doesn't finish one project then work on another. Like we are still waiting for the cafeteria and the outdoor part in camp 3 and we have a camp 4 now?? Also, with this stress for dims and lvling up, no one has time to roleplay anymore... Especially when enchantix left... I mean I hate to admit that this game has had downfalls bc I think about how many hours I grind for... Wasted! So, do you agree?

Its horrible now. The only thing fun now is the Halloween update which is gonna go away. Theres no more fun in it. Everytime people join they have to grind for an hour or days to get diamonds just to get a set 😭 and then the small items without toggles are TOO expensive especially for a small piece
I joined the game when there was only campus 1, and back when campus 3 was coming out, it was damn exciting to experience. The powers test and all that was so cool, but that never really went anywhere. The prices are so high that my dorm is fully empty in 3. Like not even pre added stuff like campus 2. There's 2 classes and you can't do much. Even trying to go to campus 2 is annoying because it doesnt remove the literal inflation and the lag. The garden stroll skirt was something i bought for 10,000 and I believe the price has more than doubled now. Fantasia is gone, the enchantix is dead, and RIP moonlight square. New years, valentines, halloween was all shite. And who tf goes to diamond beach dawg?

I used to be an avid player of Royal high, but around the time they started "twinkifying" the male bodies was when i stopped. As a trans person I played rh because it was the only game i knew up that let me dress up male characters in a fantasy setting, but the fact that we have to use the WOMAN bodies for the new masc toggles (not sure if this is still in game), and how the new male bodies were basically just the female bodies just gave me a new level of dysphoria i didn't know i was capable of feeling
I think Royale high would've been one of the highest grossing games currently if they just kept the same formula from 2017-19. seeing the rise of dti and other role-play games like Brookhaven truly just proves my point. they left their younger audience in the dust and focused on the older players and in return pretty much lost both. dont get me wrong, the game wasn't the highest graphics highest detail or anything at that time, but it was the aura behind it. it was so fun just roleplaying in a high school. They got rid of everything that was so enjoyable as a kid (ex: egg hunts, homestore hunts, roleplaying tbh) and now just seem money hungry. I think if they just remade enchantix and fantasia without copyright it would be super big and a younger audience would love it. as a 16yo I dont think its fair to think that js bc the audience is so old now that we dont want to have that fun? I think these portals are just annoying and so tedious. The new campus is when Royale high just completely went downhill. The constant teleporting just ruined roleplaying now and its so annoying. FOREVERRR a campus 1 and 2 fan and I truly miss the old Royale high.

I played Royale High since 2017 when I was in the 5th grade played it up until 11th grade in 2023 after the RUclipsrs started losing their badges for calling the devs out. I thought that was really cruel and childish for them to do :(
i stopped playing once the new school was added, nothing against it, but i just liked the whole "open world" aspect where you could go to the old school, new school, apartments, trading hub, etc but now it's just… a giant.. school..
I quit 2 years ago because of how overpriced and grindy it became, when i was younger i role played by my self (i was introverted) it was my fav roblox that had been inspired by my favorite show (winx) sure i still hand to farm but not as much now its became all about grinding and i have the 2 multiplayers and its still hard on me as a hs student who has exams, projects, extra classes , i don't have the time, so playing rh became more exhausting and not fun, and eventually i got fed up and left , i don't plan to join back until the have fixed all these issues
I remember royale high was the first game on Roblox I started playing and immediately fell in love which it, I farmed all the time and it was actually fun, I roplayed and it was actually fun, and I genuinely liked the game. I don’t get why all of a sudden they are greedy for money and stuff like that. They’ve lost tens of thousands of players all because they were greedy for money,overpricing sets, and the game was definitely not friendly for new players. Another thing I don’t get is they added campus 4 which almost has no purpose, but they haven’t put much effort into updates and that’s the reason they’ve lost so many players . The updates used to be so detailed and fun and now they Just make the updates quick and easy for themselves. And yes I get that Barbie and her team do work hard sometimes and need a break because they are humans like anyone else, they’ve been doing this for years which led to people quitting their game.
I used to play a lot of Roblox and Royal high during the pandemic. I was so excited when campus 3 came out, but when I played it for only 20 minutes, my game crashed due to how many graphics there were in the game And the times too they’re so adorable, but all the sets are so over priced like all the sets cost 500,000 diamonds+ And the players are also just a bad time I can’t tell you how many people have been using the items to make inappropriate outfits in the game (it’s like dress to impress all over again) It’s still a cute game, but I don’t think I’ll go back to royal high anytime soon.
I want the old apartment back. I hadn't played it for a quite time so I decided to visit it again on a random day. My reaction when I knew that they had removed the old apartment (the one which used to be default for everyone) was depression, I CRIED Y'ALL. I love that apartment so much that I'd always visit the game just to delulu my own life inside that apartment 😭😭

I’m def a late rh player but I joined when it was in its prime. (I remember I joined when the Mon Cheri set came out pretty sure.) I saved up for some of the Mon Cheri set by sunset island grinding (when it was actually fun and fair votes) and I remember being so happy. I’d also rp with my bsf and I’d always be excited when new updates came out. The new updates would make me so excited, I remember that the diamond beach update was one of my favs. I also remember doing the monster cat update but imo for a pair of headphones that isn’t even worth anything in the trading hub wasnt worth it 😭 Rh imo started its downhill when they announced the new school like idk 3 or 2 years prior? And then stopped updating the game completely. The new school is fun ig to an extent, it’ll give you abt 20-30 mins entertainment by doing quests n stuff but that’s abt it. Nobody rps anymore in the school ngl :( also not to mention it’s very hard for new players to do some quests bc for that vent quest you need a couple people in order to break the vent and enter the counselors office or smth, but then if you die you have to restart the entire thing over again like what? 💀 since it’s an old update now not many people are doing the quests so you have to have friends come over or just rely on people (which no one is gonna come-). Also they built campus 3 just to switch to campus 4?! Make it make sense rh 😭
Ive been in royal high since 2020 i used to role play all the time, but now all i do is grind for diamonds or as now candies because im always determined to get all the new items and sets because im an overachiever as usual and want to try to get everything so ive always been a grinder type of player and it never bored me really because i also had YT in the background so i never minded grinding. But the only reason i play rh is for the updates and items, once i get everything i just leave and never come back until the next update because i already got everything. Concluding to now that i just dont roleplay and just grind until i gained what i wanted. Rn im in highschool, im always busy and studying to keep up with my materials and tests, i dont always have time to grind for candies for such overpriced items like the steampunk boots which i believe are 25k candies. I dont have so many hours to grind when getting candy isnt as easy, but i also dont want to miss the opportunity of the limited time items because.. im an overachiever as i stated. So i need to estimate my time wisely if i do want to play rh.
I used to play it but now i do not. I loved this game for so long until their was issues and expensive items were running the game for me and many players too. The toys are really expensive and useless the people only want the code Besides the toy itself. Where does the toy go? It’s gone and never to be seen again. i remember when campus 3 first came out, there weren't so many loading screens. you could just walk down the halls and go into whatever room you wanted, there was a loading screen for the office and classes hadn't been added yet. also the castles heart used to be called the locker courtyard and looked a LOT different & was honestly a lot better imo. the bathing quarters entrance was close to the spawn point and you could just walk in the doors

I feel like the loading screens are to keep u in the game for longer. Even if it's only for a few seconds the amount of times u go into other areas the seconds add up. Or maybe I'm overthinking it and they just added it to be pretty or wtv😮💨

I joined royale high in 2017 and have been playing on and off throughout the years and these are my thoughts:
The main issue is the fact that developers decide on a project, start making it and then ditch everything else that came to be before it which is the main reason so many people keep quitting and coming back. It's the lack of updates, lack of bug fixes on time. I simply hate how other realms are just forgotten and left to function poorly. Sunset island had so much potenial to be a lot more and give more, but it was left behind as a broken toy would be including other previous realms. Why constantly create new realms and places when you can just work on upgrading and making the existing ones better? When campus 3 finally came out I was amazed but that excitement was short lived when YET again we were hit with "coming soon" projects that still to this day never came to be and now we're already moving onto campus 4 instead of just making campus 3 better. What really sealed the deal for me personally is how masculine players are treated. Royale high might've had less masculine players THEN but NOW it's a lot different. One year later and they still couldn't fix human arms and bodice toggles for masc players. At what point does it become embarrassing for a game this big? And then they release so many new toy related sets which yet again, do not include a single masc toggle. Not to mention, masc players can hardly use seasonal items (christmas, easter, valentines, st patricks day, etc.) because those can not be toggled to fit masculine bodies. Time and time again, rh team is letting masc players know that they do not care about them. It's sad to see a game that holds so much nostalgia and memories for me die this quickly but I can honestly understand why. I can't understand what they're thinking when they're deciding on these projects and updates (as someone who studied business and marketing). I guess they assumed players will eat up anything they give because it's children that play. Whatever happens from here, it's completely on them.

The toy codes were a TERRIBLE idea, imo. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the game was absolutely loved, but players were already disappointed and giving up before they came out. And to get the items without buying the toys, you need 1mi+ diamonds??? Royale High is prioritizing the people who can simply pull their money and buy everything they release, while the rest will most likely never have the chance to afford that. Being a new player is extremely hard nowadays, unless you're rich.

Another problem with the toys I haven’t seen ppl bring up: most ppl will only buy the dolls for the codes, so where will the actual toys go?: Probably A LANDFILL, or the OCEAN. Not only are these toys jut stupid, expensive, and annoying, but probably terrible for the environment! Barbie even claims to care a lot about the environment, but them turns around and does this?
i thought about buying a doll for my 6 year old sister’s birthday because she’s just at that age where she loves dolls, and i thought i might as well get a code out of it too, but i realized i didn’t want to spend 15 dollars on a toy my sister might not like. My friend keeps trying to get me to roleplay in Royal High but everytime I join it gets more and more greedy. During the holloween event I finally decided to give it a chance but quickly felt disdain as i realized they took away the already small bit of free stuff players were given. There are no longer pre-made dorms for new players to choose from, just a blank room. Diamonds don't scatter the campus anymore, now you have to level up to get 300 diamonds that will be wasted getting food and other products for quests that require it. Oh you want more diamonds? Then pay us TWO SEPARATE gampass so you can earn 1,300 diamonds instead. Now you can afford those 70,000D boots in 53+ levels instead of the orginal 233+ levels. Oh you can't do the quest? Then just wait AN HOUR. Don't want to wait? Then pay for extra slots. You want affordable clothing that doesn't cost $100? Then buy one of our low effort $10-$20 dolls.

Here’s me yapping about my Royale high experience as a “New player” I actually just lost my account in the middle of 2021 causing me to not play royale high for a few years only coming back officially on September 1st.
Sadly there aren’t a lot of nice players anymore, I have ran into way more extremely rude players than nice players which is sad. Now, as a “new player” I struggled to navigate the new school. Anytime I tried asking a player (usually were wearing a lot of items at once) just simply where things are or how to do a task they usually tell me to go off myself or even tell me to just “go back to brookeheaven where you belong.” Anytime I tell an older player about the rude players they always ask “what did you do to upset them so they react like that.” I don’t know??? how is asking where the front office is so triggering that they said horrible things to me.
The scammers in trading hub are insane as well. A friend who helped me navigate the school and helped me find all chest in the game currently. They gave me 100k the second I got to trading level to try help me out on my royale high journey, and a scammer tried to tell me the dear dollie heels were a rare out of game item and are worth 150k but since I’m new they drop it to 100k, they didn’t know I was an og player playing from 2018-2021 I knew those heels aren’t rare and in fact are still in the shop.
Another annoying thing is the bullying of avatars, I was bullied into asking my friend for help on getting the Whimsy Witch heels and corset since players told me the gothicutie set was so freaking ugly and I need to change it. I’m a masc player and thought the set looked amazing on masc bodies. Or they tell me to stop being lazy and grind diamonds through doing the task in journals but proceed to have both 2x and 4x diamond passes.
In conclusion, not only is royale high extremely hard to get clothes in a dress up/roleplay game but caused inflation of halos and just straight up things that don’t cost diamonds (candy items) but players are extremely rude and toxic straight up bullies to be honest and the greedy players are insane. I offically have played new Royale high for a month and can see how badly the downfall is. If Royale high doesn’t lower there pricing or make it easier to obtain diamonds I don’t think Royale high will really survive. What’s really making me want to quit is the toxicity honestly. I miss the old days.

The last straw for me was halloween of last year tbh 💀😭
I loved the halo so i spent the whole event (like 50+ days) grinding the heck out of the fountain for it, literally had a 2 hour timer on my phone 24/7
But apparently halo odds are SO low not even that was enough, now i've just accepted i'll never have my dream item because inflation made it like 5m diamonds
I find it so funny when ppl say "it's a 1% chance" like girl you either never grinded that fountain or you dont know how percentages work...💀
Thank god now i have a life so i dont even have the time to grind rh anyway
real, i joined when rh was only enchantix yet i didnt have heels for most of my time playing (i only had chicken leg heels) and people straight up made fun of me for that 🙏💀 for a dress up game ts is crazy, mb i dont want to spend my entire life grinding (i ended up getting diamonds by doing dailies in the apartment which is SO much better)
i think one of the worse thing they do is that whenever players discover a way to farm easier (apple bobbing, ghost potion and pumpkin patch, the easier way to do the dungeon obby) theyre immediately going to patch/remove that farming method bc god knows why but continue to ignore the other glaring problems of the game (2 problematic people on the leaderboard, the 'masc' items, the current farming) its so infuriating
not to mention the innocent players who are on the leaderboard who get banned for USING THEIR OWN LEVELING UP SYSTEM????? is that not insane??? also their support email(idk what its called) is so horrible, if your account gets wrongly banned and you email them and lily responds to you well unfortunately your account is staying banned bc that customer service employee is just going to deny everything you'll say/show
My worse problem is not just the massive inflation but how much they're kicking out male and masculine players because they're making everyone look the exact same with the "new" body types and it's so painful. The game was already girly enough but they had started adding male counterparts to outfits and now these past few years they decided to regress that progress entirely! Seriously, it feels like im being told "you're a woman and girly because you like dress up games" which gives me terrible gender disphoria and I hate it!
Hello! I joined royale high in late 2022 to play with a friend so I thought I would give my take on how it was for a newer play. It was absolutely terrible to catch up with my friend, the prices and level requirements are way to high. It took months of grinding for like an hour every day to get to the trading hub since it 75 LEVELS (god i wish it was 40) and this was before the new campus. The price of everything else is also insanely high and super hard to get without any multipliers. Even Halloween grinding was a bit much as it was (from my math) like 2 hours of grinding trick or treat every day to get the sp set, which was very repetitive. We recently joined again and are very upset at the lack of Wickery Cliffs this year :'c But also lovely video ❤ your content is great :D

Yes I completely understand the grind is real a little to real in fact, and for new players it is not beginner friendly so you’re forced to sit there and grind for days on end till you get bored and tired of the game. I hate that it makes it where your forced to play even when you don’t want to, and its sad I want to be able to enjoy the game even as a new player but it feels almost impossible to do so cause you need diamonds to do that🥲😪
@@CallMehWinkle honestly we only stopped playing after the whole male body type controversy XD it was already frustrating to find nice masc outfits- and ik its just a dress up game and I can very much so where a pretty dress- sometimes my transmasc aah self just had those days XD- other than the the quest very much did improve the grinding cycle and I hope what there working on in the alpha campus will help with the rp aspect- real wish every new set wasn't a higher and higher price though :'(

if royale high didn't die sooner, it died when campus 3 came out for me, and had its grave spat in over the masc toggle debacle. i doubt many would agree with me, but i miss the old enchantix and hotel maps so much. despite every issue the game had prior with trading, the game's economy and the death of roleplay in the community overall- i could find some kind of plot to either spectate or join because the old maps were where all the nostalgia was. between that, the masculine toggles and now just coming back to the game to see that the newer sets are barred behind buying dolls that support politics that many disagree with makes me feel unwelcome in the game. cosmetics are barred off by either buying dolls or committing hours to farming- and with newer items, the "masculine" toggles can barely be called that (which as a masc/nonbinary person really sucks), roleplay is sparse (from my personal experience) so the only thing to do is commit to farming which only spawns a cycle of "farm, buy something, farm more" until the inevitable burnout. it's a lot of work just to get items to make your character, just for very few people to be interested or invested in a rp plot.

I’ve been trying to point out that items were overpriced and becoming obnoxious for awhile now lol, but everyone just rolled their eyes and called me ‘lazy’ because I wasn’t willing to farm and incorporate Royale High (a literal virtual Roblox game) into my schedule for like hours per day. Like what was even the point? You farm, farm and farm. Get all the items you want. Then what? Nobody is going to look at your new items or roleplay, because they’re too busy farming as well. The developers also has made things way too extravagant as well, which overcomplicated things. I’ve never liked teleportation systems in games. I’d understand to reduce lag you may have to hop from a server or two here or there, but now you have to teleport for EVERYTHING. The reason Royale High was so popular back then was because it was fun for kids and roleplaying, not because it had a million add-ons and mounds of extravagance. The quality of a game should obviously always improve, so Royale High was bound to make some switches but it seemed like they lost the point of the game along the way

this makes me so sad. i've been playing rh since about 2017 and after 2020 i quit playing. i recently tried to get back into it but the game has changed drastically, and not in a good way. everything is so expensive and the grinding is genuinely so time consuming. i hate that i have to spend hours and hours grinding for 1-2m diamonds just for a single set.
I miss those times where we would go to massive egg hunts to get new items, when halloween was actually enjoyable, when prices weren't too insane. The game was so much fun. Its just an empty grinding and pay to win game now.
Something about wickery cliffs and snowglobe summit arriving was just so exciting but when it got moved to the new campus it just felt so boring, there’s nothing that exciting about a few decorations and a overly explensive set. As a roleplayer the game fell of in campus 3 but nones in camous 2 to roleplay with. It was to big and hard to navigate, no balls and overpriced dorms. I miss the old rh it was actually fun to play then😢😢
The items being expensive wouldn't be as much of a problem if there were alternative ways to consistently farm diamonds, but as it stands, only level farming is guaranteed to give you diamonds every time. Every other way of getting diamonds isn't consistent enough to be a viable farming method.
I do hate the inflation on limited sets and the removal is some of the non limited ones. And the OVERPRICED dorm items but I will say the steampunk set is actually fairly priced. (I haven’t played consistently for awhile) and most setvskirts are about 15-30k from what I’m looking at. (Which isn’t cheap but better than most) I have hope with the new campus.

rh died to me as soon as they released the toys. i started playing when enchantix was the main campus and the winx music still played. the economy is horrible and i believe the devs and trading are to blame.
As an OG player who played since 2016-17 it used to be so great, the rps, the easy communication with other people and you could actually MAKE rps and people would randomly join them, especially in the rh classic and the Faerix school it was GREAT plus the Hotel but that's not really the point here rn.
Back then the entire game was based ON royale rp, royalty, scholar ect and it was affordable prices like under 1 to 5k for the shoes and also dresses if i remember correctly and as you all know we didn't have much items to rp with but they were still free, the devs were still using their passion as motivation for the game but people wouldn't grind like today, 50k could get you so many things back then and now well it's totally chaotic because even with 1-2M diamonds IT'S STILL NOT ENOUGH.
They completely stopped using the purpose of this game and how to make it actually full of passion they changed after Lizzy sadly passed away and all hell broke lose, the trading hub was already out i think at that time but the trading prices were on the players 💀 which were insane for some halos and stuff then they really went in with the "it's time for inflation". What was the purpose behind increasing the prices? To make people buy more diamond packs, passes like 2x or 3 gamepasses ect. It was ballistic, they'd also speak about the new school yet in the new school there's no REAL classes like in the classic or to make it look like we're in a high school, there's no cafeteria to socialise with others, the entire new school is based on farming and farming.
I stopped playing RH after losing 3 of my accounts on there due to being banned whenever I'd defend some people or even for unfair trades, scams never got my acc back but at my 3rd account i did try to get all my progress back but nah it was so unmotivating with EVERYTHING, the insane prices the unfair votes in sunset island ect, mind you i had halos on both my old accounts so yes i was mad about losing them, more depressed 🤣 but i didn't give up until a few years back, i used to be so addicted to royale high, not for the grind but for the fun, my friends , the rps but now i don't see a point to play royale high if it's to milk my time and motivation away, the FOMO is crazy too

As someone who bought both of the gamepasses to help with farming, it still took me AGES to be able to buy the snow sawn set, even if when i farm for a while i tend to get to 300k and get bored. The fact that 300k gets you barely anything when talking about the new sets (the doll ones)

One of my biggest problems with Royal high is the glitches. Half of the items they release don't work with other items and glitch out your entire outfit. I'm someone who spends a lot of time making outfits in games like this, But it takes away from my enjoyment when the character's torso is floating above where it should be.
The worst thing about it, is the fact that even after months, Campus 3's Story Mode is STILL Unplayable for me, it softlocks itself every single time. And they're working on Campus 4 without even bothering to finish Campus 3 or fix it.
Royals high is actually listening , if u looked at campus 4 , it clearly shows the roleplaying aspect , Ofc they can improve and lower prices and other stuff

I don’t know why people complain about that now it’s not that hard to level up now as it was back then level 75 was absurd and basically unachievable if you were a non-contributor to Royal high at the time, but now people don’t really have much to complain about because like honestly you have it better 😤 BACK IN MY DAY you had to work for your levels you couldn’t just do some measly tasks and easily get a level you had to constantly go to classes and work your butt of just to get to level 40 😡
And you were also wrong about the wheel being helpful for levels, which is completely wrong. It’s helpful for diamonds and getting items that you clearly don’t really need. 😒 no point if you can’t trade them
And story mode should be the first thing that should pop up on your screen.. one of my friends told me that they had no idea the story mode even existed when they first joined. I think this was like 56 months ago we aren’t friends anymore, but yea

And also in the dorms ,it very annoying when you were building and you see someone try to glitch in your dorm... They have that maxium fly and try to glitch... And sometimes they will lie they was lagging when it obvious that i can see them try to glitch in.

I loved the game since back before the pandemic even happened, now it’s like just money and money everywhere. I do know RH4 is being made but this will prob cause a massive player loss because of some people’s devices not being able to handle it at all. This might kill the game completely and they will make the game dead for real this time.
I used to enjoy rp with my friend but now we both just make outfits and that’s it because of how boring it had become. We both got more upset when they made some cute outfits be with real cash.
For me the only reason why royal high has fallen is because either the game is to expensive like you spend 9k diamonds on just your room or it's expensive

I was an og, like- 2017-2018 og. It’s sad honestly. I remember grinding so hard and flying around the campus in shambles to get a mermaid tail. I remember campus 1 and how I honestly really liked it. I remember the proms, I remember the classes. I really wish we had an actual schedule and brought back the old classes and the pro (but up the amount of diamonds from 500 to maybe 1k). Bring back mermaid tails. Make it easier to have candies in Halloween, like bring back the haunted mansion I used to farm there for 1 hours and come out with like- 5k candies.
The devs need to realize that they can rework and improve the things we had before but make it better. Like come on, please…
I used to play this game when it was just a simple winx game. I remember players trying to push themselves through the Royal high portal that was "coming soon". When the Royal high realm was unlocked, I was really excited to play the game. Going to classes, buy heels and skirts, dreaming about the outfits that I would eventually be able to buy. But as time went on, I realized. Without the help of Robux I would never get the clothes I wanted. And if I would be able to get those items? I would just grind for more diamonds since no one in my servers wanted to roleplay(or I was too shy to join.) It ruined the game for me when I realized that I didn't enjoy the game as much as I used to. So I quit playing Royal high a very long time ago. I only return to see what's new, then I leave. It's so sad that my happy days of playing Royal high came to an end quickly.
It makes me so sad going to the the old campuses and only spending 5k for a bunk bed. Things are so expensive and you start out with nothing and basic needs like a toothbrush and hairbrush cost money for A THOUSAND DIAMONDS. That just makes the game not welcoming to new players and now new players have made older campuses their new home because of how cheap it is.
Im actually okay if they wanted to inflate the prizes of some items **BUT** they should also _deflate prizes_ too and offer discounts for less desired items. Usually these type of games is categorised as "p2w" because of their increase in prize that seems to never stop.

At the start of 2024 I played Royale high quite alot JUST because of my friends but slowly we all started to get bored of the game, the updates have been boring because you to farm an unhealthy amount to even get anything now. I didn’t know inflation could also happen IN a game.
Overall, I’ve just stopped playing Royale high and gravitate towards other games now, I used to be a full time rh player 3 years ago and was considered rich, AND loved the game, now it’s not the same, It doesn’t feel the same anymore either because of how hard it is to farm, they forget that literal teens play this game, they have school etc we don’t got time to farm all day for a game

But since RH now is not going off of that anymore they need to start adding more body types for both male and female players since their player base is not just made up of girls anymore.

What I find very annoying about this game is that (I was discussing this with my friends) Barbie doesn't finish one project then work on another. Like we are still waiting for the cafeteria and the outdoor part in camp 3 and we have a camp 4 now?? Also, with this stress for dims and lvling up, no one has time to roleplay anymore... Especially when enchantix left... I mean I hate to admit that this game has had downfalls bc I think about how many hours I grind for... Wasted! So, do you agree?

Its horrible now. The only thing fun now is the Halloween update which is gonna go away. Theres no more fun in it. Everytime people join they have to grind for an hour or days to get diamonds just to get a set 😭 and then the small items without toggles are TOO expensive especially for a small piece

I joined the game when there was only campus 1, and back when campus 3 was coming out, it was damn exciting to experience. The powers test and all that was so cool, but that never really went anywhere. The prices are so high that my dorm is fully empty in 3. Like not even pre added stuff like campus 2. There's 2 classes and you can't do much. Even trying to go to campus 2 is annoying because it doesnt remove the literal inflation and the lag. The garden stroll skirt was something i bought for 10,000 and I believe the price has more than doubled now. Fantasia is gone, the enchantix is dead, and RIP moonlight square. New years, valentines, halloween was all shite. And who tf goes to diamond beach dawg?

I used to be an avid player of Royal high, but around the time they started "twinkifying" the male bodies was when i stopped. As a trans person I played rh because it was the only game i knew up that let me dress up male characters in a fantasy setting, but the fact that we have to use the WOMAN bodies for the new masc toggles (not sure if this is still in game), and how the new male bodies were basically just the female bodies just gave me a new level of dysphoria i didn't know i was capable of feeling

I think Royale high would've been one of the highest grossing games currently if they just kept the same formula from 2017-19. seeing the rise of dti and other role-play games like Brookhaven truly just proves my point. they left their younger audience in the dust and focused on the older players and in return pretty much lost both. dont get me wrong, the game wasn't the highest graphics highest detail or anything at that time, but it was the aura behind it. it was so fun just roleplaying in a high school. They got rid of everything that was so enjoyable as a kid (ex: egg hunts, homestore hunts, roleplaying tbh) and now just seem money hungry. I think if they just remade enchantix and fantasia without copyright it would be super big and a younger audience would love it. as a 16yo I dont think its fair to think that js bc the audience is so old now that we dont want to have that fun? I think these portals are just annoying and so tedious. The new campus is when Royale high just completely went downhill. The constant teleporting just ruined roleplaying now and its so annoying. FOREVERRR a campus 1 and 2 fan and I truly miss the old Royale high.

I played Royale High since 2017 when I was in the 5th grade played it up until 11th grade in 2023 after the RUclipsrs started losing their badges for calling the devs out. I thought that was really cruel and childish for them to do :(
i stopped playing once the new school was added, nothing against it, but i just liked the whole "open world" aspect where you could go to the old school, new school, apartments, trading hub, etc but now it's just… a giant.. school..
And them adding a new cover and saying it’s royalween but never even updating it too
I quit 2 years ago because of how overpriced and grindy it became, when i was younger i role played by my self (i was introverted) it was my fav roblox that had been inspired by my favorite show (winx) sure i still hand to farm but not as much now its became all about grinding and i have the 2 multiplayers and its still hard on me as a hs student who has exams, projects, extra classes , i don't have the time, so playing rh became more exhausting and not fun, and eventually i got fed up and left , i don't plan to join back until the have fixed all these issues

I remember royale high was the first game on Roblox I started playing and immediately fell in love which it, I farmed all the time and it was actually fun, I roplayed and it was actually fun, and I genuinely liked the game. I don’t get why all of a sudden they are greedy for money and stuff like that. They’ve lost tens of thousands of players all because they were greedy for money,overpricing sets, and the game was definitely not friendly for new players. Another thing I don’t get is they added campus 4 which almost has no purpose, but they haven’t put much effort into updates and that’s the reason they’ve lost so many players . The updates used to be so detailed and fun and now they Just make the updates quick and easy for themselves. And yes I get that Barbie and her team do work hard sometimes and need a break because they are humans like anyone else, they’ve been doing this for years which led to people quitting their game.
I used to play a lot of Roblox and Royal high during the pandemic. I was so excited when campus 3 came out, but when I played it for only 20 minutes, my game crashed due to how many graphics there were in the game
And the times too they’re so adorable, but all the sets are so over priced like all the sets cost 500,000 diamonds+
And the players are also just a bad time I can’t tell you how many people have been using the items to make inappropriate outfits in the game (it’s like dress to impress all over again)
It’s still a cute game, but I don’t think I’ll go back to royal high anytime soon.
I want the old apartment back. I hadn't played it for a quite time so I decided to visit it again on a random day. My reaction when I knew that they had removed the old apartment (the one which used to be default for everyone) was depression, I CRIED Y'ALL. I love that apartment so much that I'd always visit the game just to delulu my own life inside that apartment 😭😭
I can’t even enter the game anymore because it spawns me in the new campus who is lvl 200 plus but I’m not at 200 yet so I get kicked out the second I join.
I’m def a late rh player but I joined when it was in its prime. (I remember I joined when the Mon Cheri set came out pretty sure.) I saved up for some of the Mon Cheri set by sunset island grinding (when it was actually fun and fair votes) and I remember being so happy. I’d also rp with my bsf and I’d always be excited when new updates came out. The new updates would make me so excited, I remember that the diamond beach update was one of my favs. I also remember doing the monster cat update but imo for a pair of headphones that isn’t even worth anything in the trading hub wasnt worth it 😭 Rh imo started its downhill when they announced the new school like idk 3 or 2 years prior? And then stopped updating the game completely. The new school is fun ig to an extent, it’ll give you abt 20-30 mins entertainment by doing quests n stuff but that’s abt it. Nobody rps anymore in the school ngl :( also not to mention it’s very hard for new players to do some quests bc for that vent quest you need a couple people in order to break the vent and enter the counselors office or smth, but then if you die you have to restart the entire thing over again like what? 💀 since it’s an old update now not many people are doing the quests so you have to have friends come over or just rely on people (which no one is gonna come-). Also they built campus 3 just to switch to campus 4?! Make it make sense rh 😭
Ive been in royal high since 2020 i used to role play all the time, but now all i do is grind for diamonds or as now candies because im always determined to get all the new items and sets because im an overachiever as usual and want to try to get everything so ive always been a grinder type of player and it never bored me really because i also had YT in the background so i never minded grinding. But the only reason i play rh is for the updates and items, once i get everything i just leave and never come back until the next update because i already got everything. Concluding to now that i just dont roleplay and just grind until i gained what i wanted.
Rn im in highschool, im always busy and studying to keep up with my materials and tests, i dont always have time to grind for candies for such overpriced items like the steampunk boots which i believe are 25k candies. I dont have so many hours to grind when getting candy isnt as easy, but i also dont want to miss the opportunity of the limited time items because.. im an overachiever as i stated. So i need to estimate my time wisely if i do want to play rh.
I used to play it but now i do not. I loved this game for so long until their was issues and expensive items were running the game for me and many players too. The toys are really expensive and useless the people only want the code Besides the toy itself. Where does the toy go? It’s gone and never to be seen again. But the game is still dying out day by day which is no clue since the creator makes it expensive. It’s sad to see RUclipsrs and creators leave the game.. 🙁
