I still love watching the Brady Bunch as an adult. Alice is one of my favorite characters. Thank you for traveling and showing us all of the places most of us will never see. 😁
I met Ann in 1967 when she was visiting the US Army troops in Vietnam. Yes, she was a real humanitarian also. I was 20 years old. She was shocked when I called her Schultzy, the character she played on the Bob Cummings show in the 50's. She said, "You're not that old?!" She was the whole show, as she was in everything she appeared in. So warm and friendly in real life. Thank You Ann, RIP.
Thank you Steve for stopping at Ms Davis’ final resting space. Lovely church and courtyard. You are always so respectful and help us reminisce about the good old days. Stay safe in your travels.
Like you, Steve, I fell in love with Ann B. Davis as "Schultzy" on "The Bob Cummings Show". I'm pretty sure I watched that show in syndication because the original series was broadcast on from January 2, 1955, to September 15, 1959, before I was watching TV. In addition to the characters on "I Love Lucy," I think "Schultzy" was my most memorable sit-com character from the black-and-white era of TV. Be safe on the road.
Same. I loved her. She was great. Got to meet her in 1967 when I was in Army and she visited troops in Vietnam. She was surprised and happy when I remembered her as Schultzy . She said, "You're not that old?!". Lol. Very warm, friendly and dynamic in person.
Brady Bunch is still one of my favorite shows growing up and I watched it in syndication because I was not born when it aired but I have seen every season of the show and a friend of mine bought me the box set of the Brady Bunch and may Ann B.Davis Rest In Peace.
Rest easy dear lady. You were the funny lady that we all wished lived at our home! Who remembers the famous Hawaiian Brady adventure? She was hilarious!!!
Ann B Davis once lived in West Allis Wisconsin where I live ! I loved her on Brady Bunch TV Show ! THanks for sharing her gravesite ! Love your channel !
The computer said the Harriot ; Ann B Davis' twin sister is alive at 96 years old. Am I correct that Ann died from complications of a fall. You are the best. So thoughtful to tell the story people from all walks of life.
What a pretty church. She seemed like a really good person. Thank you for sharing her final resting place. That room looked very nice. They did a nice job updating everything. Continued safe travels!
I had the privilege of meeting this beautiful lady in 1992, while visiting a seminary near Pittsburgh, PA. She was living with the family of the seminary head, at the time. RIP, Alice.
Thank you for visiting Ann B. Davis. I always loved her. I hope that she’s resting in peace. She will live on for thousands of years as Alice on the Brady Bunch. People not even born yet will watch her and love her. TV was very new when we were kids in the 50s and 60s. Almost everyone on TV was still alive in real life. Now most of the shows from back then are filled with mostly deceased actors and actresses. Future generations will view these shows where the actors are all gone. It gives me a strange feeling.
Love Brady Bunch and thanks for sharing. Hey 79 thousand subscribers. Have you gotten here before? Love your site and love learning what new videos you bring us! Well your driving is long and we all appreciate it believe me!
I was lucky to meet Ann B Davis in the 70’s. My mother was on a bowling league in San Gabriel, Ca, Ann B Davis is the one who presented my mom with a bowling trophy. Very nice lady 💜💜
What a beautiful little church for this woman's final resting place who brought so much joy to everyone! Still watch the Brady Bunch & remember her in the Bob Cummings Show as Schulzy. My daughter has good friends in Austin, & her, her husband, & little daughter visited them & they loved it there, so different to Chicago! Since then my daughter had a little boy!
As a Scandinavian i must admit there are many names and graves you visit that we never heard of, TV shows we haven`t seen etc., but it is also our great pleasure to follow you around, Steve
You do an amazing job in researching all these famous people, finding out where there final resting place is, and then going to great lengths to find them. Sometimes, like on this video, you teach us more than just the final resting place, but a little bit about a town we might otherwise never heard of. Thank you.
Ann B Davis was an amazing actress. I absolutely loved the Brandy Bunch . Alice was my favorite character in the Brandy Bunch! She definitely made the show! Her character was always so cheerful and happy! She will greatly be missed! Rest in Peace Ann B Davis! RIP
I can't believe in 2016 we passed Boerne traveling on I-10. Would love to have stopped at this beautiful peaceful cemetery. I always have hubby stopping at cemeteries when we travel to visit famous graves. He's getting used to it but thinks I'm weird, lol. Watched the Bob Cummings show all the time in the 50s. Ann was always a fav thru the years. You are really staying at some nice upscale Motel 6s, so happy they are finally renovating a lot of them and we stayed in some bad ones. Like the shower head on backwards, lol. Thanks, Steve! 🚗

Beautiful Church and Cemetary! I loved Ann B. Davis as Alice! I wish she'd stop by here and spruce up my house! And she could also cook up some "pork chops and apple sauce" and I'd be very happy 😊 Thanks for the memories Steve!
It's amazing how time flies. I remember Schultzy and your mentioned Huntz Hall. He'd be 102, if alive now. I remember his antics on The Bowery Boys in the 1950s. Did you know he was one of the celebrities featured on the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album back in 1967? He was only 47 years old. WOW!
Yes I watched the Brady bunch don't remember the first show that was before my time, And I wasn't thought of till 1959 the end of that year. But loved watching the Brady bunch.
Ann boarded a Cruise Dining Ship I was a bartender on in the late 1980s. Our 3 hour tour on the Detroit River out to Lake St. Clair cost a hundred dollars back then. Whole Maine lobster and all of the finest seafood. Ann was so gracious and signed autographs. A truly wonderful human being. I will always remember my conversation with her. By the way, I was a bartender but she didn't touch alcohol. Good for her. She was with her Church group members. Very nice people too. Thanks Steve for the reminder of my memory of the great Ann B. Davis.
When I was younger, many people used to say, you look just like Greg on the Brady Bunch, never saw it myself but hey. Loved Alice, the character and yes would love to have a housekeeper like her. That church is beyond beautiful and so peaceful, can understand why she choose it. One heck of a drive you're doing, we are most jealous my friend, cheers!
