Can't believe you didn't even remember who Ryuko was from Kill la Kill lol. I know it was a while ago but i loved it.
I hadn't watched any anime in such a long time and decided too much of it was cliche and tropey. But i decided to try Kill La Kill on a whim one day, because i liked the animation style. It was so bizarre and fun that it reignited my interest in anime. It was loaded with cliches and tropes but was very aware of them and made such clever jokes about it. I enjoyed it so much!
I'm terrible with names. I can watch a whole movie and not know the characters by name.
It's a fun anime, for sure. I should get back to it sometime.

@ true, but kinda a wasted opportunity of not including the fully covered mask instead of the half mask head, but oh well, at least i can add her to my collection.
It should be noted the Modernia Garage kit is part of their "BIG" line of GK figures, so she's significantly taller than your usual 1/12th scale kit from them.
Not entirely sure why their Nikke releases have pivoted towards that bigger scale, outside of maybe wanting to avoid competing in the same market as the Figma/Hyper Body/Snail Shell Nikke figures.

Perhaps it is, but then again, they're pretty different figures.
I recommend having some Sanding Sponges on hand when building model kits in general so that you can Sand down tight joints to prevent them from getting stuck or stressing the plastic. #400 to #800 grit work best I think. I remember having to sand down my Plamax Sophia's wrist pegs, ankle pegs, and butterfly shoulder joints because they were all too tight out of box.

I missed out on Ryoko the first time and reissue, so I'm not gonna miss out on the jacket version. Sucks because figmas are expensive.

I don't have Miku figure in my collection so far nor do I have any Nendoroids but I have been tempted by both. Snail Shell has been fairly prominent picks for me lately 😊
I think the Revoltech Miku could be interesting. Nendos are pretty easy (and dangerous) to get into 😅
Hasuki are pretty great too if you haven't looked at them.

Oh, that Cowl oni girl looks interesting. Looking forward to more information coming soon. I was interested in getting an Animester figure too but got put off by the high price but maybe Sophia F Shirring might just be that trigger for me to get one.
I just remembered there were a few others I forgot about (I think some original designs), which had very very little clothing.
Not saying that's what I prefer but with so many Animester girls, I just might get one too.

@ Well, I had a hell of a time trying to get her into the squatting shooting pose, and her left squatting leg leaves a bigger gap than I would like, and her neck doesn't have a lot of ... but she looks good, which was the main reason I got her. 😆

@@NoGoodFigures there's a LOT of good Revoltech figs. My first one was Vash the Stampede from a billion years ago. Little beat up but still looks great.
Now I have their Amazing Yamaguchi line as well.

I thought i had a figure problem, but after this update i get the feeling i have just been pulled in by a hype tide. suddenly my waifu collection switched from a kind of Isekai team building to a zoo building! i recently got a Doggo and now i have chicken in the zoo! yes more Hololive simping, what can I say? liked the figure, the colors and the source material, it can´t get better than that!
Oh and i want rat in my zoo, so Figma, or whomever stop slacking off and start working on that!
