The girl Les appeared with was sitting next to me in a pub earlier that evening. Imagine my surprise seeing the same girl on The Tube after I got home from the pub!
She was my neighbour, when I lived at home in the 80s… Margaret Stannard… from Blyth, Northumberland, and because The Tube was in Newcastle, I guess that’s how she appeared on there, not far to travel. My eyes nearly popped out when I saw her on that clip… she’s in her 60s now
I've had the fortune (or mis-fortune) to have worked with Paula Yates's dad - though it was not known (even to her) at the time. Hughie Green was (to me at least) an eminently dis-likeable character. It's such a shame that Paula died in tragic circumstances. By all accounts she was easy going and great to work with - a sad loss!
There are consummate performers and there are consummate performers, and then there is natural genius. Barry Humphries. A man who went beyond.
You’re a one off Sir Les! Watching you for nigh on 40 years buddy and me love for ya only grows 💪 NO WORRIES 🤣
What a legend. Les Patterson is funny as took
I always thought Sir Les Patterson is what Bryan Ferry would look like if he'd let himself all go to hell.
That is probably the funniest thing i have read this week..lol x 1000

Did she say " Durran Durran"meaning Duran Duran
Yes.
@@mrsgritoli1 I waited 9 years for this confirmation, Thank you.
I think it's a long standing joke after Tony Blackburn called them that when they first arrived. He'd never heard of them.
Duran Duran was taken from the film "Barbarella" . . . .
That was a question on Tipping Point yesterday.
1:18 when he dances hahahahaha.
The woke have cancelled greats like him
Yates was absolutely boring.
