I got a 2006 LX 470 a few months ago. It’s incredible. Added 33” KO2s and we’ve gone up a bunch of trails already. Can’t wait for winter!

My sister bought a brand new jeep. It broke down 2 times in the fist 6 months. A guy at the jeep dealership referred to her car as a p.o.s. !!! My GX470 has 250,000 miles on it and I've never had a problem!
Yeah, the Lexus GX470 has a bulletproof engine, transmission, and suspension. Even today, it’s a great car for everyday use 😊

You have to own both, GX460 and wrangler, the GX is great on road and OK off road, the wrangler is ok on the road but great off road. I've driven my wrangler across the entire country and it does great, just not as quiet or comfortable. My Lexus is lifted 3 inches and my wrangler Rubicon is stock and the Lexus cannot come close in ways of off road performance. But yes, the Lexus is more reliable but jeeps aren't unreliable either. The jeep wrangler is based on the ww2 Willy's jeep which is indeed the best off road, you cannot compare any other vehicle off road to a wrangler, but you can't compare the reliability and quietness to any other vehicle than the Lexus.

They're honestly not reliable at all. The entire car breaks and rusts the only thing thats reliable is the powertrain. I have an awesome 2003 V8 4runner rotting away in my yard because its got holes in the frame all over the place, transmission is stuck in 4th gear, ABS alarm beeping constantly, no power brakes, broken sunroof so water gets in the interior every time it rains, power steering has a mind of its own, on and on and on. The ONLY thing that's reliable is the 2UZ. Great engines, trash everything else.

@@max_garageit’s a well known fact that Toyotas rust out worse than any other brand. They warrantied the Tacoma frames but not the 4Runners for some reason.
Not reliable at all? You’re crying about a 21 year old vehicle’s problems and a lot of those problems could have been avoided with some preventative maintenance.
@@stock40z Crying? Whatever kid. The word reliable doesn't apply to new vehicles. You need time to establish their reliability. That's kind of the entire point. Anyways, any true Toyota guy knows the only true reliable aspect of these vehicles is the powertrain. Everything else breaks as much or more than any other car.
