- VRINDAVAN, offered to you in close cooperation with Hoek Brokerage, is a 72-foot Spirit Yachts built in 2003 and exhaustively refitted to the highest standards in 2022. The Spirit Yachts are known for their classic style complemented by high quality and first-class performance. She has long overhangs, elegant traditional lines, a low profile, and beautiful flush teak laid decks. Sailing her is thrilling, and just being on board this classic is indulging. Vrindravan is sloop rigged with a custom carbon mast, Park Avenue furling boom, North Sails sails, electric winches, and electric furlers. She is furthermore equipped with a 110hp Yanmar diesel engine, bow thruster, generator, and B&G instruments. Further to that, a water maker, life raft, a center console tender, and some water toys.
The interior of this 72ft Spirit is just as enchanting as the exterior. The carpentry and woodwork, fixtures and finishes, and all those other little details make this cruiser a true gentleman’s yacht. She features a charming salon with a sofa around the dining table on starboard side, and a nice sofa on port side. The navigation corner and the U-shaped galley are located to starboard side abaft the salon. Vrindavan can accommodate up to 6 guests in her three cabins, two ensuite bathrooms and day head. Especially the master cabin aft is a gem. Additionally, there is a cabin for the crew that has its own companion way. Of course, she is fitted out with air conditioning throughout. As already mentioned, Vrindavan underwent a huge refit in 2022. Countless items have been renewed, both technically as optically. And the list will be too long to mention everything. Feel free to reach out to us and we will be more than happy to send you all details.
This Spirit soothes the soul.
Despite all the negativity of the internet connoisseurs, I would very much enjoy sailing this beautiful boat and appreciate all the downsides it seems to have for so many people as it clearly is in another category, the haptic pleasure of sailing it cannot be compared with a plastic boat.
I've sailed on a Spirit 63, they are truly awesome boats and beautifully built!
Absolutely one of my favorite yacht builders, art in motion
What a beautiful boat the fit and finish is amazing, the outside is made to sail and sail fast and looking good also , the inside is beautiful wood work and finish on all parts , yes for a 70 + foot boat the inside is tight but people must understand the shape of the very classic design which makes the boat, so beautiful on the outside affects the inside, but no complaints from me ! She is a true beauty with lines and classic design that lasts forever
Beautiful sailing lady! Thanks for sharing! All that wood work looks top notch! 👍👍
Absolutely gorgeous, as elegant and refined as it gets. I love the trash can.
Absolutely fabulous yacht, world class quality and craftsmanship best boats ever made
classic design and beautiful lines
Amazingly beautiful, a yacht to dream about, thank you
Worth every penny. Dream boat.
A fantastic boat and sailing it is awesome 👍
SPIRIT: One of the most amazing boat builders that still exist. And yes, two times used in James Bond movies
yacht tours don't need cuts. Just film yourself going through all the spaces at a reasonably slow pace.
Stunningly beautiful and very impractical. Museum piece.
Impractical in what way?
@@OhAwe The upkeep of all that beautiful wood takes insane amount of work or money. I was a live aboard cruiser for seven years and, believe me, you want as little wood on the outside as possible.
@@vladimirmadorsky4965 Oh, yeah, you're not wrong re the upkeep. The sort of thing that'll have you wondering why you didn't go for fibreglass, until it's done lol. Definitely have to redo the whole thing every year, probably more if you're in NZ etc.
I guess nothing worth having comes easy though.
@@OhAwe I had a little wood trim and a teak deck. There was enough pain in the neck. Especially if your goal is to sail as opposed to being the most beautiful boat in the marina. Btw, I sailed to NZ from North America in 2016.
Incredibly beautiful
Amazing videos 😉 just love it all
The lines of the Yacht are pure art, everlasting beauty, and as I can see - first class craftsmanship.
Asking price - not too high ( I am buying lotto ticket now ). Will be back soon !
Absolutely beautiful. WOW 👍🏻 😎
Like to see it once it’s been through a big trip!
everything and everyone needs to be treated with care and love.. and maintenance of course 🙂
Beautiful 😍😍😍 It looks a lot (Or maybe it is ?) like a couple of two identical yachts that came one year to St-Barth for the annual Bucket race*. The owner of the two yachts wanted to sell one of them to do match racing... Could it be one of them 😃😃😃 *It couldn't compete 'cause all sailboats must be 100' long or more 😝😝😝
Teak and varnish everywhere. Beautiful, but a lot of upkeep.
You'll have staff to deal with that 😁
A splendid ship! Far superior to any FRP boat!
That would be a great choice if I could just put it in my living room and look at it!
I’ll take yacht over any production boat like Jeanneau!!!
Piękny klasyk.
Good evening
Very nice and beautiful boat
How much is it?

Didn't James leave that in Cuba ?
I'll have two?
I prefere serviceability, the same reg.ladies.
Nice old girl, but from another era so difficult and expensive to be it's custodian. Aesthetically pleasing the rest not so much
This is a fully modern boat; it’s built in the Spirit of Tradition in Ipswich UK but has a modern wetted area, modern hull appendages, modern rig and systems and so on. Spirit make really interesting boats!
LOL wipe your tears, Peter. This "old girl" is barely legal. 😀
Why don't you just give the bloody price

A yacht like this for sale and they get the worst cameraman to film it 🤔
the cameraman left you wanting more?
@@frankjames7272 wouldn’t say wanting more, just show the yacht as it is
It looks nice, but that's about it. Even 30-40ft Jeanneau has more spacious interior. Every space is cramped and inconvenient. The ceilings are so low and the salon backrests are so high, that it feels claustrophobic even on video. The companionway is a joke - impossible NOT to break a leg going down after a few sundowners. And you will need at least two crew members to wipe salt off all that gloss. I absolutely love how those "neoclassic" boats look, but I'd prefer to look at them rather than have them.
PS Yes, I'm a hater who can't afford it.
Interesting point; for the cash you’d shell out for this boat, you could get into a nice Grand Soleil, a Maxi Dolphin or one of the other niche Italian boats like an Ice Yacht. Yes you’d have more space, but in 100 years, this is still going to be looking just as fantastic long after the others have been written off due to laminate failures.
@@thomaschilcott Agreed. Because wood rots much slower than GRP and to repair it you can easily source a huge tree, air-dry it for 3 years and then make the part you need, instead of the tedious and lengthy process of washing, sanding, adding a few layers of glass mesh and covering it with epoxy which will take you AT LEAST two days.
Man, can you believe those idiots think 50-year-old GRP boats are still afloat while the wooden ones have all rotten away, PHILISTINES.
PS By the way, totally agree about those niche brands. With 3 boats a year Spirit makes, they're basically the Beneteau of Suffolk. Conveyor quality.
It’s a simple thing.
The Spirit yacht is afforded by the man whose wife or girlfriend is a stunner. A reflection of her. Classic, classy and chic. A natural beauty that will be a comfort for life and admired by all. A true reflection of his taste and style.
The Jeanneau on the other hand is afforded by the man whose wife is on the broader side, built for the ability to store all it consumes with ease, somewhat enhanced by dubious use of plastics and low end fittments. A vessel that will ensure you’re sleeping on the floor as it’s not designed to cosset its owner, more buck and groan.
So yes the haters are just envious and possibly hiding down the pub waiting for the marina lights to go out before sneaking mounting their poorly chosen steed.
As the owner of a classic, and having sailed a fat plastic when younger I will confirm that a man chooses his yacht like he chooses his lover. And no amount of hate is worth the bad investment in a plastic fantastic. Wet or not.
@@humanafterall2076 So.... two things are clear. You've never owned a yacht and you're a virgin. And judging by erratic spelling and grammar, I'd further suppose a student. High school or community college - the jury is still out. 😀
@@thomaslangbein297 Ookay, Popeye.
First, this "classic" boat was built in 2003. I have socks older than that. 😀
Second, L-VERY-O-L you read too much the geizers on sailing forums. Or maybe you're one of them. In the latter case, where do you all come from, geezus?! "Modern plastic buckets" are FASTER than these "classic" boats. They are hydrodynamically better designed and are more reliable. And WAY cheaper to repair. They also weigh less BECAUSE WOOD IS HEAVIER THAN PLASTIC.
Third, YES, I like buttons and hydraulic winches because I like SAILING, not pulling ropes. It makes boats MUCH easier to handle, INCLUDING for "grannies" and kids, who love sailing, too, admiral! "Without the ability to trim" makes me doubt you know what you are talking about. So save yourself - EXPLAIN.
Fourth, I don't care how beautiful the boat is because I will be the only one WHO WON'T SEE IT - I will be ON IT. What I do care about is internal space, a ceiling (and shower) I can stand in, a bed I can fit into with a significant other. And stairs I can get up and down without breaking my neck. Everything else is just snobbish BS.
THIS boat is a phallometry tool. You want a real, raw, hands-on ship - buy a used IMOCA-60 for less money. They have a CURTAIN in the toilet but it can surf 20 knots all day long and it takes two people to trim it. And guess what, that "modern plastic bucket" is made of plastic, too. 😀
40 foot sailboat with 30 foot overhangs 😂😂😂. And the cockpit coamings are so low that leaning on them would cause back pain!
amazing boat, clasic and elegant, the price for sure would be high ;D
