Hare Krishna dandavat Pranam. I learnt: 1. Never judge a devotee or find faults. Even if you see faults, overlook that. 2. A pure devotee has 18 kinds of faults stated in scriptures but those faults are due to the reason that this material world is designed like that and living entity is bound to have faults. We should not look at them and we should overlook. 3. When it rains on river ganges, we know it's not clean may be. Same way, a devotee's fault might be visible, it might be a rainy season in his life. 4. We never see faults in those who are no longer in the world, we see faults in present ones. That's our tendency. Example do we see faults in Srila Bhakti siddhant saraswati Thakur or Srila Prabhupad, etc. No we don't see. 5. We see faults in others and have less faith in vaishnav, or we do not appreciate temple, Prasad or vaishnav. This doesn't come from inside. This means we have less peity. When by process of devotion, our peity increase, then we can see divineness of devotees and Prasad and all. But after this all, if we criticize, this comes as reaction. 6. Normal water and ganges water. We know ganges has divineness. We know non devotee and devotee and we should differentiate. Unless we don't differentiate, we won't be able to appreciate divineness of devotees. 7. Devotees are completely different from non devotee. Non devotee lives on basis of karma but when it comes to devotee, there is no karm bandhan. 8. Three types of karma Sanchit karma: stock of karma Prabhdha: already going on, due to which we got this family, body etc. Kriya man karma: creating karma now. Analogy: arrow holder is sanchit karma, arrow shooting right now is Prarabhda karma, while creating an arrow is kirya maan karma. This drives non devotee. For devotee, these three are burned. 9. Kutam beejam: a process of hitting prabhdha. Bhakti burns this all, prabhdha which is tough, gets destroyed. This is power of bhakti. 10. Devotee body is running due to pious activities even if prabhdha is gone. 11. Devotee go through sukh Dukh. Sukh because bhakti has a by product of sukh, liberation, Anand. Bhakti Devi is queen and all other things are like maid servants. Dukh because for liberated soul given by Lord like pandavas. Why we get because we do aparadh. 12. We should remove the lens of criticism on others. 13. A devotee is chanting since long but we can't see change in him. Why so? Ajamil. He had lusty desires. But had not done naam aparadh. Devotee might be doing forbidden act but might not be doing nam aparadh. Example of tree, if u cultivate a tree, it'll bear fruit with time, same with devotee develops love for Lord. 14. Ordinary water can be contaminated. If we mix that little quantity with Ganges, it takes quality of mother ganges. Same way, a living entity fully filled with faults, it comes in contact with Lord, he becomes transcendental. Hence there is no fault in devotees. 15. Srila Bhakti Vinod Thakur writes song, how we see faults in Guru, or Guru Parampara. Shishya other meaning is Chattra, he covers the guru. One should not criticize guru or guru Parampara. He writes in poem: my dear mind, I have this message to convey to you. How remorse fully you have chosen a path to be independent by allowing yourself to be cheated by wrong people and you went to different path. Now your talent is to find faults in devotees and guru Parampara. Then, constantly trying to careful through it. Trying to stay away from devotees and make our organization and make own rules and give up the own spiritual master. Dear mind, you artificially have created own things. To establish yourself, trying to find devotees and gave up that path. You have become most displeased. You see yourself above. You reject all attachments to self. You've renounced pure gold for ashes. You're bogus and how will you be delivered at the time of death if you do not follow bonafide process??
