Has to be my favourite engraving of the presidents you’ve shown Matt. The art nouveau scrolling is stunning. Thanks for bringing this video to us. A couple of the modern popular manufacturers, including Miroku, who are producing game scene engraved guns at the premium price point could learn a lot by looking at this one.

Thanks for another installment of the wonderful President range! I always enjoy seeing examples of what a manufacturer can produce as prestige pieces. You really can see the attention to detail and pride that went into each gun in the series. Japanese engraving designs were an acquired taste for me but I must say these examples are well executed and very pleasant to the eye. Please excuse me if I sound a bit snippy but I wish Miroku had looked back at these engraving patterns before they chose the one for the MK11. Thanks again for this great content!

Beautiful shooter! I have two G12 traps with consecutive serials, both made in 83 and one has the same initials KI as that one. Both have their pearl beads still. One is a two barrel set with fixed 28” and briley choked 30”. Both of mine have ivory inlays on the fore end and grip cap, possibly a trap model thing?
Thank you for your comment. You are very lucky to own such lovely guns. Regarding the ivory inlays I suspect that you may have earlier guns than the one in the video. There is also a possibility that with these guns being referred to as 'custom' grades that there were several options available in terms of aesthetics. Kind regards, Matthew
