This sort of irrational, arbitrary application of concepts demonstrate a total lack of intelligence and reasoning skills on part of American legal experts. Ancient Greeks 4000 years ago would make a much more compelling and rational case as to how this would work in a society.

So technically, Mr. Katz called using a public phone booth. So technically, he had no reasonable expectation of privacy.

In New York, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy on the phone. As long as one participant in a phone call is aware of it being recorded, it can be recorded. New York is a one-party-consent state

I was once pulled over in my car and had a passenger. That passenger had a bag in my trunk. The officer asked for permission to search my vehicle. Today with what I have learned about things since then I would not consent to a search, but I did consent to a search and I made it clear to the officer that I did not have authority over her bag it was hers and I could not consent to the search of it. Would the officer have had the authority to search that bag?

I think she ultimately can send it to search of that bag, but I'm not sure

Probably because you gave him consent to search it and he can search whatever is in the vehicle
