My dad introduced me to the Bellamy Brothers music. I had their eight track in my car and listen to it all the time. This was my favorite song by them.
I live in the UK and where I grew up (in Rural Staffordshire ) country music like this has always been popular. This song always takes me back to listening to the radio when I was a kid.
This song came in the hitparade on radio and tv in the spring of 1976(I was 21 and in love with a girl,I was in heaven,it was short love,she finished me after 6 or 7weeks,I was sad). This year I become 70 and very delighted with another woman who came later in my life but the song is timeless for me!❤
These guys are 10 times better live than Taylor Swift and this is a classic, timeless gem of a song. I just wish that people had better taste in music.
Man, I love these guys! As a teenager I was a committed heavy metal fan; but, somehow, the Bellamy Brothers always made their way onto my mix tapes. “Crossfire” still stands in a class of its own after so many of my metal gurus have faded into a distant memory. Keep going, lads!
