How could the Germans throw in with the Nazis? Read Hayek's The Road to Serfdom. He talks about how the socialists and statist thinking led directly to Naziism, which was just a different form of what they already had. Even down to the socialist youth groups that were just converted into the Hitler Youth. It was not a radical change. It is not like the Germans in the 1920s were libertarians and suddenly became statists.
Before Weimar, the Kaiser (King). Weimar was a mix of Social Democrats, other socialists, Communists who founded Antifa, as well as conservatives. The Communists and Nazis teamed up to defeat the Social Democrats.
The idea that the Versailles Treaty was abnormally “unfair” to Germany is a myth, specifically the “war guilt clause”, which actually does not exist. The clause reads as follows: “The Allied and Associated Governments affirm and Germany accepts the responsibility of Germany and her allies for causing all the loss and damage to which the Allied and Associated Governments and their nationals have been subjected as a consequence of the war imposed upon them by the aggression of Germany and her allies.” You’ll notice it doesn’t single out Germany here, but Germany *and her allies*, and further more it is talking about responsibility for damages inflicted by the Central Powers during the war, not about who started what. This myth is very pervasive today, scarily so, and is even taught in American schools. The worst part is that this narrative comes from German propaganda at the time, and of course later on, Nazi Propaganda. These are the *real* lies told in our schools, *not* the Holocaust or the pure evil of Hitler and the Nazi movement.
Sorry, Kirk, but the Right is much faster, infinitely faster, to reconsider support than the Left is. Most of the Right is simply asking questions about Ukraine, questions that few seem willing to even address.
No clue how the algorithm got me here but I think I watched the same video that Tucker did and I didnt see any glaring inaccuracies. He makes it very clear that you will criticize him and here you are.
Absolutely, just make sure you actually have something to question. Agreeing to an interpretation based purely on speculation because it aligns with your political views isn’t being a free thinker, it’s being an ideologue.
Another great commentary video. I really appreciate the way you guys draw on the principles espoused by Ayn Rand, without ever falling into the trap of becoming obsessed with "peace" to such a degree that there is no level of evil that would warrant abandoning that peace. It's so refreshing to see there are still people willing to give a full throated defense of personal liberty, right alongside a proud tradition of protecting that liberty through the obvious necessity of nation states and their collective armed forces. So many "libertarians" (Dave smith, the Mises Caucus etc.) seem to have adopted the idea that individual freedom requires you abandon all international alliances like NATO, because guys like Putin might feel threatened by them. And just abandon all those countries that would be threatened by doing so. Stay awesome!
He may have '"studied" it, that still doesn't mean he's also telling the truth. 🙄 You strike me as one of those who *never* doubted Faucci's narrative (AKA Mr Science!), not even at the very end, probably boosted up the wazoo and tripled masked outside or while being by yourself at home or in the car...😆
You can play Twitter vids at 2x, I always do and it is very efficient. Daniel, I have to comment on your comment from a previous show about why you refuse to call Judea and Samaria by its proper name. You refuse to do so because Israel is doing the wrong thing in that area so you will not use the name of the area that Israel uses? So you would rather fuel Israel-hater propaganda war against the existence of Israel? In that war it is essential to call the area the western bank of the Jordan River. Just some geographical area floating around in the world. On the ground ALL THE SIGNS and people say this is Judea and Samaria. By not using the correct terms your are helping spread a big lie. Please reconsider your position. Kirk's behavior/face making at the beginning of many shows is so off-putting and immature it takes away from the seriousness that the movement desires.
@@BitcoinMeister you raise an interesting point about not calling it West Bank. It suggests that it's a vacant plot of land that has never been inhabited. Honest question, why do you think Daniel is wrong about what Israel needs to do?
@@llharrison77 I am not exactly sure what he wants Israel to do there. In theory he could be right, my bigger point is he should just call the place my the correct name if he wants Israel to get out of this mess.
@@BitcoinMeister I think Israel shoudl return to Pre-Oslo state, occupy gaza as well as all the areas given to PA and place the people under military regime similar to how it did after the independence war with the Arab population & Golan Heights until the people are ready to be integrated into the larger Israeli society. Judea & Samaria is the correct administrative term for areas in the West Bank controlled by Israel, but referring to cities like Ramallah as "part of Judea & Samaria" is just delusional, acting like Israel controls what it doesn't and willingly gave up, Israel made a huge mistake with the Oslo Accords in needs to correct. Until then West Bank just seems a more appropriate term to refer to the region.

Thanks for doing this. That interview was a little weird. The guy’s take on the Germans’ concern for the welfare of Soviet prisoners (and civilians) is an abomination. Revisionist BS.
You oversimplified h0l0c@ust denial to a simple it did happen/it didn’t happen binary. The fact is denial laws create a difficulty in analysing various aspects that would relate to the attribution of guilt. It’s very important that a specific dubious narrative be told that assigns guilt in a conclusive predetermined way and if what you say is perceived in any way as decreasing or redirecting or casting doubt on where the guilt is out you will get legal problems.
"The most important popular historian working in the United States today", according to Carlson. Yet Cooper has never written a book in his life, according to Niall Ferguson. Douglas Murray is right. The West has decided that we can't have any heroes anymore, including Churchill. How did we get here?
I have an issue not only with the historical inaccuracies, but the main rhetoric or language used is concerning. That some jews 'ended up dead' ... Like it was all passive and couldn't be prevented. Thats dangerous. There were people performing the killing, they didnt just end up dead. Wpuld love to hear all your opinions on Ordinary Men, the book researching the branch of the SS that went into Poland with Operation Barbarossa. Thanks!
Tucker used to be much more reasonable, but lately, the last few years he’s become unhinged and gone down the religious wacko road as well. Not sure what happened to him, but he’s gone nuts.
If you can't ask questions then how can they offer evidence against the history we currently conclude? Either: you can ask questions or you cannot offer such evidence. This is basic protocol of inquiry, critical analysis. It seems to be lost on the masses.
These are not real questions. They are like saying, "Getting to the moon sounds technologically impossible to me, but I'm just asking questions" (wink wink)
Guys, there is no need to belabor the stuff about 'being humanitarian by killing the prisoners'. You are kind of putting things into his mouth: he did not say that it would have been a good thing, or that the Germans were actually doing that. Also, he did not explicitly say that this had anything to do with the Holocaust (although he did mention that these were not only prisoners of war but also civilians). He merely quoted a German Kommandant who apparently wrote a letter in desperation asking the German leadership whether it would be more humane to kill them instead of letting them starve to death. The problem with his short description of the Russia campaign by the Germans was that he didn't directly mention anything about the Holocaust which was already ongoing in occupied Poland and then continued with a vengeance during the Russia campaign. If - by talking about the starving civilians in the camps - he wanted to say that this was all that the Germans did to the Jews, then he is in denial of historical facts: even David Irving, who is skeptical about the gas chambers in Auschwitz fully acknowledges that the Germans shot large numbers of Jews from the beginning of their Russia campaign. But, to me it is not clear that he wanted to say that. Is he a Holocaust denier? I think the relevant parts of the interview with Tucker don't allow to conclude that. For that, more should be known about his stance on this.
Fellas please. The grotesque anti-intellectualism on display here would shock a smart teenager. Among your gems "I haven't listened yet but he seems like a...., Austria didn't become Nartjie like Germany etc etc etc. . I'm not wasting more of my time with this foolishness.
There are non what-so-ever. We have 3 kids who haven't dived into history other than wikepedia who are playing wannabe heroes fighting unrevealed denial... waste of time watching this.
Absolutely correct. Just because “they” control the narrative and are happy to see England be “less English” doesn’t mean that “they” (whoever they are) are Jews. Sure, this is, almost verbatim, the same logic Nazis used but he never actually said it. “They” are just wealthy global elites that have international authority to maintain narratives and punish the Everyman. Of course, Churchill never actually said “I’m starting WW2” so likewise the jury is still out.

Weimar was the most progressive regime in Europe
An excellent chapter of the book. Read it just recently
The idea that the Versailles Treaty was abnormally “unfair” to Germany is a myth, specifically the “war guilt clause”, which actually does not exist. The clause reads as follows:
“The Allied and Associated Governments affirm and Germany accepts the responsibility of Germany and her allies for causing all the loss and damage to which the Allied and Associated Governments and their nationals have been subjected as a consequence of the war imposed upon them by the aggression of Germany and her allies.”
You’ll notice it doesn’t single out Germany here, but Germany *and her allies*, and further more it is talking about responsibility for damages inflicted by the Central Powers during the war, not about who started what.
This was such a bizarre interview. Darryl Cooper has really lost his marbles.
He is not historian, but in society where overwhelming majority are so ignorant and prejudiced against Jews his demonic lies are willingly accepted.
I don't think he ever had them.
Saying what?
Thank you very much! And special thanks to Daniel, specially for the last 30 seconds!👍❤️
Lol 3 dorks with a grade 4 understanding of history critiquing a historian who studied the topic for thousands of hours. Rich
The above comment is observed by the courtesy of a single Grade 3 dork. Richer!
Sorry, Kirk, but the Right is much faster, infinitely faster, to reconsider support than the Left is. Most of the Right is simply asking questions about Ukraine, questions that few seem willing to even address.
Is this a meeting of "White dudes for Harris"? 😂
I love Candace and Tucker:) ❤️
I have no clue who kirk wilcox is but that face is priceless!!!! The best think I have seen in much time! Thank you!
Subscribe to him, he’s awesome
Great panel, guys, thanks.
No clue how the algorithm got me here but I think I watched the same video that Tucker did and I didnt see any glaring inaccuracies. He makes it very clear that you will criticize him and here you are.
Question everything. History is written by the victors to warp his-story.
Absolutely, just make sure you actually have something to question.
Agreeing to an interpretation based purely on speculation because it aligns with your political views isn’t being a free thinker, it’s being an ideologue.
@@janewhite572 welcome to ayn rand uk.. isnt it great
Another great commentary video.
Look at people denying a historian who actually studied history.....
He may have '"studied" it, that still doesn't mean he's also telling the truth. 🙄
You strike me as one of those who *never* doubted Faucci's narrative (AKA Mr Science!), not even at the very end, probably boosted up the wazoo and tripled masked outside or while being by yourself at home or in the car...😆
Tucker sucks!
Time to do a reaction video to Dave Smith’s reaction on the Daryl Cooper interview
Dave smith: Sorry for being a Jew! Img yes. The poor nazis, they were so misunderstood! Did I already say I'm sorry for being a Jew? Please kill me last!
Love you guys and your brilliance!
I can't BELIEVE I listened to a half hour of this topic only to hear 3 things everybody knows.
How did you get 6 million? (No answer)
Churchill drank and could have entered earlier. (Well, yeah.)
Tucker don't push back too much. (Well, yeah again.)
I had to stop watching there.
Wasting my day.
Why does the public need to be reeducated about the holocaust again and again?
Because they never were educated on it in the first place and now hang out in antisemitix circles full of Holocaust deniers
Otherwise people will learn from history

For Tucker to sit there and nod his head to through the interview - unbelievable!
Nothing Carlson does would surprise me, you can fool some of the people some of the time but not ALL the people ALL the time!
I (still an Objectivist, still fully on the side of Israel contra Hamas -albeit a bit tired of the content spree-, etc) split hairs with you guys a lot these day, but Kirk said it all by making that face. Never forget: Tucker would ban self driving cars "immediately!"
Tucker also said that he would lie to the public about the justification for doing so
@@KirkWilcox ugh... That "man" is like a ready made caricature for the lefts propaganda of anyone that may oppose them.
Tucker is a truth teller.
Also, one can actually think of WW2 as beginning with Hitler’s enabling of Franco to begin the brutal dictatorship in Spain in the Spanish Civil War. Hitler had plentiful of terrible evil acts on his dance card.
The " collaboration "of two identities during WWII is key to all arguments.
Thanks for doing this. That interview was a little weird. The guy’s take on the Germans’ concern for the welfare of Soviet prisoners (and civilians) is an abomination. Revisionist BS.
I actually believe Tucker and Darryl. Thank you

Every passing day convinces me further that Earth is just a reality show for the lowest caste of an alien civilization.
YOUR ALLOWED TO ASK QUESTIONS BUT OUR ANSWERS CAN GET US ARRESTED.
Why not contact Tucker?
"The most important popular historian working in the United States today", according to Carlson. Yet Cooper has never written a book in his life, according to Niall Ferguson.
Douglas Murray is right. The West has decided that we can't have any heroes anymore, including Churchill. How did we get here?
Technically there was a Clerical authorization conservative (Francoist) regime in Austria 🇦🇹 technically.
Man in the High Castle got the end plot correct but the rulers wrong. It will be the Islamic Republik of Am'rika.

Is Tucker agreeing or exposing him ?
Tucker is great not on everything of course but I don’t hate based on them agreeing with everything I believe either.
They made it illegal to say because its true
Can't ask questions? Have they heard the squad? Those two are only victims of their own egos. I'd never heard of Darryl Cooper.
No. It isn’t good that he is being portrayed as reprehensible.
Like a lot of analysts and commentators, Tucker's right about Ukraine, and wrong about Israel.
Tucker is a Nazi and doesn't have the faintest idea about politics or history...

Elon did delete the tweet where he had promoted it.
I guess this “historian” would find the context in which calling for genocide is ok
The Holocaust is a religion. You’d never see this much backlash regarding Pol Pot or the Armenian genocide
What does the Holocaust have to do with the day we live in now?
🤔
@@CptChandler palistinians didn't send Jews to the gas chambers. Totally the opposite. Arabs overwhelmingly help Jews before Zionism......

He's actually conflating Russians being starved to death in Siberian gulags being run by Juze, sorry I meant Bolsheviks.

Whiners.
When a cheap conspiracy theorist calls himself a historian, it shows that today anyone can claim any title-perhaps even a Neo N@__ zi.
