I watched several of your videos!! Loved every one of them! Bought a couple of your patterns. I went and bought special fabric to make this one for a friend. Came home downloaded the pdf of the patterns, was on page 3 and was out of toner. So I made this one just from reading your instructions and guesstimating the arch at the top and the placement of the zippered pocket!! OMG did it turn out adorable!! I can’t wait to gift it!

I feel like you read my mind! This is exactly what I wanted to make. Question: could we see one done with a zipper at the top? This would be an excellent bag to take to an amusement park 😀
As it’s only 4 1/2” wide, magnetic snap can close the bag safely. You can attach the zipper of course. Please watch my Sunset Mini Coin Purse tutorial for the zipper attachment. 🤗

I love this and I learnt you don't add the top seams into the stitching preventing bulk Great idea. Do catch the pocket lining in the side seam please .?

I bought this pattern and I like it, made one yesterday. That said, I think the instructions should explain what you need to do at the top opening of the case when you join the outer and lining. I had to watch the video a few times to catch what you were doing. An inexperienced sewist would have trouble, possibly.

@@ahansens Stitch the exterior first, backstitching at the beginning and end.
And then stitch the lining pieces as the same manner. Steps are as seen in the video.
