- Hello from the dead! I know I don't really talk about doing animation memes, that've kinda grown to my liking only recently.
This is loosely based on the ending of my comic, Level X (which is currently ongoing), and explosring a dream-like sequence of actions to come. Nothing given away fully, obviously. Everyone expects the volcano thing at this point ngl

This was very fun to do! I got to dust off my toon boom skills while taking a break from uni work. Refreshing in all aspects. Plus, compositing was fun, especially the moving water and lens effects. I also took on a specific color palette, which I felt was good and fun, and would gladly do it again! Hope you guys like it! :D

the way the environment in the beginning feels like a fishbowl is such a good storytelling device.
I FEEL THE SAME WAY TOO!! This is just so catchy and in some way gives me relief.

When I was little, I was abused and neglected by my mom. My dad was always working to support the family so I was with her all day. Any time I would have Autism stimming, meltdowns, or wouldn’t show proper understanding, she would yell and say I was stupid how it’s obvious, or how I wasn’t right in my feelings, how I was overreacting, all of that. So, eventually, I went to therapy. But by that point I completely was used to the treatment, used to the pain and hunger, and when they tried to know me, I had a blank face and would barely talk. Because this was after I got away from her. But she had burned into my brain that if I told anyone about what she did she would hit me and punish me. So for over 10 visits, I only talked about my day, leaving a lot of silence and blank stares in front of me. After a while, I started to build a mask. A happy, carefree, perfect mask. So I would laugh, tell stories, avoid all the bad parts though. When I finally opened up, I didn’t cry, or get scared, or anything. I felt numb. What were they gonna do about it? My mom is in jail! She’s not with me anymore! What could they do? So I told the stories of my abuse and neglect. No emotion showed. And I told how I was supposed to act “normal” at all times. That my Autism shouldn’t show because it was wrong and embarrassing her. My dad is still trying to help me come out more and be myself. But my brain is still unlocking all of the doors with fear. Fear of my mom. I cut her off, I didn’t want to get hurt anymore. So the therapist talking about that, made me remember this. “The accident” was me. I wasn’t supposed to live. They all expected me to die before or during childbirth. “Creating casualties” I try to make it seem funny, and I say it all the time with a smile and laugh as if it didn’t bother me anymore. “Do you blame yourself?” …before? Yes, completely. I was a mistake, and accident, I wasn’t wanted so why did I have to survive? Why did I do this to them? But now? No. I don’t blame myself. I didn’t ask to be born, I didn’t ask for her to be my mom, I didn’t ask for all the pain and suffering, so no. If I blame anyone, it’s her.
Sorry this is long, but I’m just venting at this point, sorry…

@@nitteh5818 Due to the claims I could never (even if I wanted to) monetize my videos, if ads appearing it's probably because of the claim RUclips gave me and the money goes to the respected creators of the songs, so I can't make profit and I won't even try to because it is stupid.
