I was raped about ten years ago. Before this incident I was a very happy person, engaged and just graduated college. This led to an unfortunate turn of events; a crippling depression and my then engagement ending abruptly. I was not only distraught but also completely hopeless.I felt dirty, unloved and unwanted.
God ministered to me and told me that all will be well. I pulled myself together, attended therapy and was able to get myself out of the rabbit hole i had found myself in. As we speak, I have a good job and just recently got married and expecting my first baby. Hallelujah!

I first heard this song when I found out I was pregnant with my first baby. It was early in the morning when I tested positive & I sat at work very afraid - the enemy was trying to tell me I wasn’t fit or ready to be a mom. My son is 3 weeks old and he’s the best decision Ive made thus far in my life despite all of my accomplishments. The best part of my little family is seeing my husband become an amazing father, I never knew I needed this but God knew.

I was brought to the edge of Gethesemane. I prayed an hour. I saw his head hit the ground, he sweat as blood. An angel came to bouy him up. He went to apostles and asked why they slept. I stand watch 2000 years later and send my prayers back to him in his time of need as he took on the death and sins of all mankind before and after him. Evangelizing one Sunday, my knee gave out and I returned home. I said I couldn't go far. I heard, "There were few who spread my word this day. You were one of them. You are in my grace." Oh, how he loves us.
I notice how selfless she is whilst singing! she doesn't concentrate on herself, or the huge crowd who's come to see her sing and join her in fellowship. Instead she lifts up her eyes, her voice and her spirit to her Father, her King, her Lord, her friend, her saviour. Wonderful gift from God, her voice to her and her to us! Amen!

Well she can't concentrate in the crowd when she's declaring His words over His people. She looks at Him and through His eyes, she looks at the crowd. This song is His declaration to us, and she is the vessel He uses :) The second part, towards 5 mins onwards, she presents the invitation for us to journey with God just like she is doing.
Yes, she embodies the beauty and glory of The Lord. Christ inspires her, and she inspires us through him. And the same can be seen in all the musicians supporting her.
I lost my husband seven months ago. Fifteen minutes in to this video, I let loose and cried...for the loss of what could have been, for for the joy of what we had. Wow! I'm blown away by this song! I like this version more than the one on the album. I see all these comments about her looks and how she is dressed. It's crazy. She's anointed of the Lord and she is a beautiful woman of God. The anointing makes people look more attractive than normal. It's just how it is I guess. I have been struggling very much lately with things in life and not quite handling it all well emotionally. I broke down earlier and just cried begging God to show me he's here with me. I have strayed through the years, especially now being around someone who wants nothing to do with God. Bethel was sent to me by my beautiful mother months ago when I was struggling and the songs gave me so much strength that I was constantly replaying them. I finally gave in and subscribed. This song was first to show on my recommended today and so I hit play... the first few lines screamed to me that I am not alone and I absolutely broke down in the strangest happy/sad feeling. Straying and turning away from God is something I never thought possible. It's crazy how darkness consumes you and brings you down. Though it's a struggle, Bethel is currently my light in the darkness shining a path for me toward where I should be heading.
And the Lord says "Draw near to me and I will draw near to you". He is only as far away as the mention of His Name. Jesus died for you.... He will never abandon you. You can trust Him. Sometimes you need to choose God over the people who want nothing to do with Him... and you do this for yourself. When your heart is full of God, then you will have much to give away. Until then, you need to fill yourself up with Him. God Bless you.

I felt the Lord Spirit tell me that all i need is Jesus. I was praying for something but God told me He was all i needed through this song and when i accepted with all my heart i saw changes in my life greater doors started opening
God, the day is long and trying. We are grateful for the end of it. As we lie here waiting for sleep to overwhelm us, we count the blessings of the day gone by. It's hard work, we're lucky to have a job. Our kids are so frustrating we are so lucky to have them. Our bodies ached, we were fortunate to be on medication. The list goes on, but number 1 is that, even when we are in trouble, we still have faith. Thank God for giving us daily opportunities to rest and refresh. Amen

I just recently come across Bethel Music. The worship team did "You Make Me Brave" this past Sunday. I downloaded the album off iTunes and I haven't listened to anything else. I probably played this song about 20 times today. I had to pull off the road on the way home from work. In His presence. In His presence.
I had lost my 2nd baby in my womb 4 months apart. This was in 2013 and was so devastated 😭

I noticed a comment earlier criticizing this song and insinuating that it shouldn't be sung as a worship song as it doesn't glorify God.
This song is so prophetic. Regardless of whether people feel it's a worship song or not - it speaks volumes. It might not be a traditional worship song, but it does bring people to that place OF worship. God is speaking saying "Come to Me" - very relevant for anyone who feels they have strayed, or that God is not near. If someone happens to be in that place, and is open to this song and lyrics, the reconciliation process can start through the worship that is evoked through this revelation; that God is our anchor, when our heart and flesh fail, He says come to me, for He is all we need.

Also, they say it is us worshipping
A false G-d and such.
All I know is I seek thy L-rd My G-d

And commanded to be test everything

Does have a sense of witchcraft to it.

I was never really into Christian Rock / Pop music, probably because I was from a Catholic family who followed that doctrine very closely and jammed it down my throat at a young age. When my wife and I had our little girl 3 years ago, she suggested we start going to the little Bible church down the road from us. I guess I found my way back to God on my own terms and I was asked to play some music for our service. I accidentally came across Bethel and this song in particular and I can't believe how good they are! They have sort of a U2 sound -very polished and professional, especiallly live. I guess I got sucked in because it doesn't sound like "church music" -at least not the kind I grew up with. Can't stop playing this and many other of their songs. I'm hooked and my wife will be, too. The best part is, I now have some "cool" music I'm not ashamed or afraid to have my little girl exposed to -no sex, no drugs, no nihilism, no nothing from the dark side. Just divine!

Brother I love these worship songs too and I follow them in praise and worship. And I am Catholic too. I'm not of being ashamed of being Catholic, the liturgy is immersed in scripture if one would only deeper. Every Christian is called to walk in faith and love. And you know what, these worship and praise make me even stronger and deeper in the faith and love. Praise and glory to God!

Same here I fell in love all over again with God listening to Bethel Music they make God so approachable and fun.. It's just awesome.. I don't listen to the usual circular music I used to after stumbling on Bethel music 3years ago.. My perception about gospel music is forever changed for the best😁
