Fitting OME springs and dampers on my 90 transformed the handling on and off road. Medium duty for me - suits the vehicle use and typical loads

Can you expand on that? Considering doing the same.

The exact reason I changed mine! Great video Jack, flawless again 😂🫡 cracked me up when that spring slipped into place the “oh sh*t” moment 😂😂😂😂😂

You could also have used spring compressors (attached when compressed) to make life easier. Another good tip, from Gwyn Lewis is to use heat shrink on the OME damper for protection from pitting / stone chips that will turn to rust longer term.

I updated my springs to handle the heavier load but didn’t go to heavy so as to make a harsh ride when not loaded. and combined them with the air bags run through the arb lynx system so I can adjust them on the fly. so when fully loaded and full tank of fuel on motorways etc I can stiffen it up. and then when off roading I can reduce the pressure and give a softer more (wallowy) ride.

Saw your bulkhead replacement video, if you are going that far get a galvanised chassis. You are going that far, go all the way..

Are they the "firmer" rated springs?

Are these springs a lift over standard? I’m looking at upgrading my springs and dampers but I don’t want a lift, I have a heavy camper and I don’t think the current setup is up to the job.
