    Great video as always!
    This new guide series is really cool!
    It's great to be able to see recommendations from people who own or have tested all of these models and can say for themselves which models are better when compared to other similar ones.
    Tks!

    definitely the goat of drawing tablet videos, some of your videos should be university classes in art colleges, understanding how a tool works is fundamental

    Thank you so much for this! By the way, you really should consider using affiliate links because I was looking to by something using your link. You deserve it!

      Thank you for the comment. I deliberately don't use affiliate links because I want to keep independent of the brands I talk about. For the same reason, I never accept tablet review units. But thank you so much for the thought!

    I would really appreciate it if you included a wacom pressure response curve in your video as well to make it visually clearer what the differences between the brands are.

      That's a great suggestion. I'll try to incorporate that in future videos. In the meanwhile I did compare all the pens in this video: ruclips.net/video/SvADNQRhVr4/видео.html

      @@thesevenpens yes this is true but as a viewer its nice to have that refernce point when focusing on a specific range.
      side note: you dont happen to own a wacom pen slim do you, unfortunately thats my point of reference when understanding pressure ranges im assumeing its close to the pro pen 2 but to me it feels pretty differnt, unfortunately im fairly certain these has been taken out of production recently. Would be cool if you did have any stats on that but understandable if you wouldnt have enouth of them to get reliable data.
      Im effectively looking to switch from Wacom for this reason to another reliable brand that supports 'slim' pens without costing a warhead, and you are the only one I know actually benchmarking this stuff. it feels like at the moment you are focusing on the entry to mid level product lines at the moment, which makes sense leading up to black Friday but I also hope you manage to cover more info regarding pro models especially xencelabs (although im gathering its pen tech is essentially a rebrand of the pro xp-pen line?)

    Nice video! I recently started drawing and bought a kamvas 16 (2021) , ill look into the 550 pen Thnx for the tip. Im going to make a reddit post about my setup as im using it with a Android tablet (not on the supported list huion provides but it has usbc video output so it works).
    Have you ever done a video about huion tablets on Android?

    I will be waiting for your reply. I am thinking of buying an RDS 160 or its worth spending more for RDS 220, Kamvas 22 plus or artist pro 16 gen 2 2.5QHD or any other Gaomon tablet? Please help 🙏 btw I am from India there are not much variety of Tablet available + they're a little more expensive so I prefer staying below ₹30,000 but if it's really worth it I can spend more.

      I'd suggest against buying RDS160 right now because Huion should be releasing their new gen 16' display tablet in the near future, their new pentech 4.0 is better

      I think 16" is a good size. And the Artist Pro 16 GEN2 is an excellent tablet. I recommend it all the time. Here are my notes on it: docs.thesevenpens.com/drawtab/product-info/xp-pen/xp-pen-artist-pro-gen2/7p-notes-xp-pen-md160qh
      As another comment mentioned, if you can wait for Huion's new 16" tablet - it might be a good alternative to the Artist Pro 16 GEN2.

    Would you still recommend Huion q630m pen tablet?

    • @thesevenpens
      @thesevenpens  29 дней назад

      Sorry for the late reply - that's the Inspiroy Dial 2 I think. I tried it out briefly and it seemed fine for that generation of Huion tablets/pens. I did really like the dial.

    Would you recommend ugee ue16?

      I don't have any experience with UGEE. Check the Teoh on Tech channel - he has covered UGEE tablets often.

    Hi would you suggest more the Huion Kamvas Pro 24 (4k) or XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro (Gen 2) 4k?

    • @thesevenpens
      @thesevenpens  Месяц назад +1

      At least based on my experience with the XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro GEN2 165Hz I think the Artist 24 Pro GEN2 4K would be the better choice. However, I am hoping Huion upgrades their 24" tablets in 2025 and suggest people wait for that to be released. The new PenTech 4.0 experience is pretty good and I think Huion will reduce the AG sparkle.

      @@thesevenpens Many many thanks for the info, tho I wanted to ask would the difference be that big? Cause it has beeen years that i wanted a pen display and for working and stuying matters I would like to buy one as soon as possible. So would it be really worth the wait? and do we have a way to know when or what huion will release for 2025? and for last thing, would the wacom cintiq pro 24 be the better choice beetween all in 2024 even if it released many years ago? sorry for all the questions and many thanks in advance

    really funny that you put XP so high but Huion is soooo low compare to paying absurd 1300 $ bloody money for the most overrated wacom, with that damn money i can buy a Huion 24 inch

    • @Blue-God
      @Blue-God Месяц назад

      ALways remember Huion is Chinese and Wacom is Japanes.
