- Pokemon GO has announced the January 2024 Pokemon GO Community Day. Rowlet Community Day. Not only will any Decidueye evolved during community day hours know the special attack Frenzy Plant, but Decidueye’s signature move Spirit Shackle is getting added to its movepool. Could Spirit Shackle and Frenzy Plant be enough for Decidueye to compete with Trevenant in PvP? And how does Frenzy Plant Decidueye do in Raids? This video covers just that. Shiny Rowlet. The mere existence of brave bird means that Decidueye can threaten shields on opponents that would totally wall trev.
We actually do have a datamine on Spirit Shackle's stats, and it is indeed 50 damage, 40 energy, and a 33% chance to debuff. So Rock Blast/Sludge clone with a debuff chance
So it's bad with a chance of mediocre, like razor shell
Good. Now I can start working on the deep dive without fear of last minute changes (well, at least a lower sense of fear, they could always change it last minute).

Its type and potential movepool is fantastic. The current movepool in the datamine leaves a lot to be desired though.
If there is a com day for hisuian decidueye it better get triple Arrows

I think this looks pretty decent, especially with the opportunity to ho Poli-hunting. Gonna build one of these for sure, seeing as it's pretty much as cheap as a build can get.
Oh and its a 3x stardust community day? 😂 thanks swagman! I find getting a good trev kinda difficult, so this will be good for me and i can easily build one for great and ultra.

I wouldn't say I'm a die-hard fan, but I did grow up with it, I appreciate it. Everything after the cell-buu saga kind of went off the rails for me though.

@@SwagTips 10/15/11 rank 25 99.01%, but has 182 health. Also fairly new just got into poke go 15 days ago and liked the pvp on it. Don't know what the best buddy portion of it is just yet.
id keep in mind that this pokemon has high potential with potential move updates. I doubt they’ll give it shadow claw b/c then you’re inserting old trev back into the meta, but you never know. If I’m correct I believe this pokemon also learns a bunch of other charge moves as well as counter? Counter may be exclusive to the hisuiian form. Could’ve been a raw day if you could duo evolve into both decidueyes. Darn you Niantic!!
I think it's just Hex and Shadow Claw for reasonable FM upgrades. Smack Down and Tackle are there too. Leaf Blade, Leaf Storm, and Shadow Ball are CM options. Phantom Force could be fun if implemented (and hilarious if it's better than Shadow Force lmao)
And it won CMP (or CAP now?) against Trevenant
They have similar attack stats, but Decidueye is often ahead.

another worthless com day thats not useful in raids or in PVP.

SC's main advantage is speed. They took speed away from Trev and the new charge moves improve D's speed. It 100% wants SC, but I feel this route is "good enough."
