I really like both of them. One thing about the Bose is that I really don’t seem to appreciate how they sound until I go away from them and then pick them up later and hear how good they are. Right now the JBL have been my ‘go-to.’ When I want extreme NC I go back to the Bose.
JBL is good…it can’t compete with Bose noise cancellation though. I give the edge to Bose in sound. The JBL case is cool but not enough to warrant the $200+price tag. JBL app is far better than most headphones.
Good afternoon from London,UK. Great video. I’m torn between these two earbuds as I want them for day to day use but will also be using them in the gym. What’s your opinion on which one would be better suited for the gym especially in terms of being more sweet resistant?
First, thanks for the comment and support. Second, I would go with the QC II earbuds. The reason being is they fit more secure with the correct eartip/wing combo. Both are water resistant, so sweating would not be an issue.
Just lost my JBL Tour Pro 2 and bought the Sony 1000XM-5 and regretted it. The ANC is nothing near the JBL... Do you think the Bose ANC is good enough?
The review was compromised! Obviously you favored the JBL’s and did you review them with custom ear tips? I wanted to see if they’re better because I own the QCII’s and I heard the the JBL’s could be better because of the codecs! That’s what you should’ve covered … the different codex’s it uses makes a huge difference.

Because of comfort reasons. Third, the QCIIs only support AAC and SBC. So trying to compare them by codecs wouldn't be fair. So, only using those codecs made sense.

The ANC on the Bose QC II is the best in the business!

I have both. The bose have so much better sound quality than the jbl, the are pricey but its worth every penny

I have to disagree about the ANC comparison between the Tour Pro 2 and the XM5s. And Bose has the best ANC in the game.

I got the bose QC 2 and yes the bass is pritty deep and powerful to. However I am planning to buy the jbl Pro 2.

Just eartips. I switched the SpinFits. They worked for me.

Those are the SpinFit CP1025 eartips. The seal is just as good as the stock eartips. I don't have allergic reactions to having them in my ear either.

For me the B&O have a better overall sound. NC isn’t quite as good.
