Such an amazing reaction to one of the best music videos ever made. Dokken is absolutely awesome. George Lynch is one of the top greatest guitarists of all time.
Nice reaction! I like the way you put information in your reactions! Nightmare on Elm Street, one of my favorite movies, as I grew up. Dokken, one of the best bands in the 80s. They were much more than just a glam metal band, great musicians! Back for the attack is one of my favorite albums!
Yes, they are definitely more than a glam metal band. I just really liked the term and thought it was cool they had that category. I will have to listen to more of Dokken! Thanks! ✨️🎼✨️🎃

DOKKEN.... One of my Ultimate Favorite Bands. Especially the "TOOTH AND NAIL" Album.... Got this album around Halloween time in 1984.... TOP OF THE NOTCH... And will Never forget the Excitement of the new album. And going to a REALLY Fun Haunted House made in the Basement of a grocery store that closed. Where my dad was a meat cutter for 30 years ...DOKKEN... Thanks for doing this. Great Job..... AGAIN...!!
That sounds like one heck of a Halloween memory. I must say Dokken is really mesmerizing. I had a job interview as a meat cutter, but instead chose a beauty salon. The irony. Thanks for sharing!! 🎃🎼✨️🍫🎼🎃
@AmarissNevae oh my goodness. That's crazy. I guess maybe I could see you working behind the meat counter with the funny little hat on .. but. Ha ha. I'm sure the beauty salon is totally more up your alley... Best of everything. Reguaurdless.....
Thats the actress Patricia Arquette! Shes my fav actress of all time! Oscar winner 🏆 and has been acting for 5 decades in many films and TV series ❤❤😊😊
Cool choice, I think it's cool watching people grow musically. Lynch is an amazing guitarist. Still screaming Motionless in White, Thoughts and Prayers. Happy Halloween!
Patrica Arquette's brother is Dewey in the Scream movie that you mentioned. He ultimately married Courtney Cox who was in Scream and a star on Friends. Loved Dokken as a teenager and some of their songs still rip. If i could offer up a band it would be Type O Negative. They just have certain songs that will carry on with you forever. Thanks for all you do and Happy Halloween 🎃
That's wild. They are a family of actors. Yes, I love Scream. I could see myself playing Dokken in the 80's if I was there. All I'd need is some glitter and hairspray. Thank you and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! ✨️🍂🎼🎃🎼🍂 ✨️
Surprised u didn't recognize one of the most iconic horror movie villains of all time - Freddy Krueger (played by Robert Englund) introduced in the 1984 movie 'Nightmare on Elm Street' (starring Johnny Depp) ... Freddy Krueger was an insane child killer who lived on Elm Street and the parents ended up killing him by burning him alive... However, he returned to Elm Street in nightmares, appearing in seared flesh and his metal claws & hat... and can kill kids in their nightmares ...and they die in the real world exactly the way he kills them in the dreamworld. Robert Englund recently appeared on 'Stranger Things' as Victor Creel... 'Freddy Krueger' inspired the character 'Vecna' and his ability to kill people in their minds. Dokken was one of the best hard rock bands in the 80's... Don Dokken (vocals) and George Lynch (guitar) had been playing in the local L.A. Scene since the 70's... They actually went to Europe as Dokken w/ Mick Brown (drums) and Juan Croucier (bass) to record their first demos and album 'Breaking the chains'... which was finally released in 1983, and they were managed by Q-Prime, who manage Metallica today. Jeff Pilson (bass) replaced Juan Croucier (who found success w/ the band Ratt in 1983/ '84) and their album "Tooth and Nail' in 1984 became a platinum success w/ the MTV hits - 'Just got lucky'... and the ballad 'Alone again'... Unfortunately, Don and George were clashing creatively and personally by their 3rd album 'Under lock and key'... George was the guitar shredder and Don was the frontman, and both thought they were the key to Dokken's success. 'Dream warriors' was a huge hit featured on the 3rd 'Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors' movie - both actress Patricia Arquette and Robert Englund appeared in the music video... However, their 1987 album 'Back for the attack' was recorded w/ Don & George tracking in different studios... After a disastrous 1988 tour 'Monsters of Rock'...where Dokken was routinely upstaged by Metallica... Don Dokken and George Lynch had a bad falling out and Dokken split by 1989... Don could not use the band name Dokken for his next album - he had to release his 1990 album 'Up from the ashes' as Don Dokken. Some of Dokken's other songs - "It's not love" ... 'In my dreams' ... 'The Hunter' ... 'Into the fire'... 'Too high to fly'... Dokken reunited in 1994 (Don, George, Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown) and released the album 'Dysfunction' in 1995... but it was George who guided their next album 'Shadow life' towards a 90's grunge rock sound and the album failed in 1997... George Lynch was fired by 1998. Jeff Pilson was fired after 2003... he joined the band Foreigner on bass. Don Dokken continued recording and touring as Dokken... he reconciled w/ George Lynch and did shows w/ the guitarist... Mick Brown (drums) eventually left, citing health issues.
Wow, Freddy sounds like a maniac. I have heard of Stranger Things, but I have not ever watched it. I know a lot of people love it, though. It's intense that they had some issues. I understand, though. The music industry is probably super stressful. I have yet to hear Metallica, but I've gotten some recommendations for their songs. I'd love to also hear their other musical projects. Thanks!!! ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️🎬🎸
My fav horror franchise of all time ! This is from Nightmare on elm Street 3 The franchise consists of Nightmare on elm Street, 1984 Nightmare on elm Street 2 Freddy's Revenge, 1985 Nightmare on elm Street 3 Dream Warriors, 1987 Nightmare on elm Street 4 The Dream Master, 1988 Nightmare on elm Street 5 The Dream Child, 1989 Freddy's Dead The Final Nightmare, 1991 Wes Cravens New Nightmare, 1994 Freddy Vs Jason, 2003 Nightmare on elm Street Remake, 2010

@AmarissNevae You bet Hon, much of today's music is dreck BUT there has been a resurgence of excellent female fronted Rock Bands in the past 10+ years, try any of these, the ladies have saved Rock for this 69 year old hippie: Halestorm, The Warning, Plush, Dorothy, Liliac, Samantha Fish, Simply Reckless and others have stepped up and ROCKED Out! Try the official video Freak Like Me and you will instantly know why. Enjoy!
@@AmarissNevae Do Halestorm as well, the Warning owes much to Lzzy Hale, who gave them a huge boost by touring with them. Freak Like Me will melt you headphones. As for the Warning, anything live from the Pepsi Center is fire! Enjoy. Luv Ya!
Okay. I have them both written down. I'm shuffling through recommendations so as to not ignore the past comments. I'll eventually get to them. Thanks! We need some more girl power on the channel. 👧 🦸♀️✨️🎼
This is from my favorite all time horror franchise and the BEST of the entire series not counting the original. They also released Into the Fire in this movie too.
Into the fire next request good music glad my dad played this when I was young now Im grown up with 2 little girls loving this music just like my dad 😢 cruising it in 02 camaro ss
George Lynch also made "Lynch Mobb" as lead vocalist+ with his brother guitarist: in late '80's & on! Altho' their band name got 'em accused of undeserved r*c*sm. 🤫🤘
I'd love to hear George Lynchs' band. It seems they named it after their family name. I wish I could buy his guitar just to hang on the wall. 🎸🎃✨️✨️✨️✨️
Dokken is a great band of 80s Metal. Mr Scary, George Lynch is in the big Four of 80s shredders, including, Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, and the other spot is interchangeable depending on preference. Great reaction! 🤘🤘
@AmarissNevae Any song from Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, and George Lynch won't disappoint. Lynch's solo stuff is great and his other side project stuff is worth checking out. 🤘
How have I never seen your channel before? You're fun! I play guitar, so I appreciate your info edits on the bands gear. ESP guitars have a mythical and magical legend about them. In 1992, Metallica's singer James Hetfield, was spared from certain death by one. He was accidentally standing directly in front of a stage port when it went off. 3200 degrees of liquid magnesium ignited just inches away from him. His custom built ESP 'Explorer Style' guitar sacrificed itself so that he could live to sing again. Since then, the ESP name carries A LOT of weight in the guitar circles. Rock On \m/
A couple of suggestions if you liked this one. "Prisoner" and "Lightning Strikes Again". I like "Nightrider". A bit different. But theres no video then.
Dokken are one of those really great bands of the era with some great songs that get dismissed and disrespected as "hair metal". A lot of amazing bands suffered the same prejudice, such as Winger, Cinderella, Whitesnake. The list goes on. I just wish people could look past the image and enjoy the music. Back for the Attack is a great album, one of my favourites of the 80s. There is an instrumental on there called _Mr Scary_ that is particularly good and shows their versatility.
Hair metal does sound a tad strange. I like the term "Glam Metal" but that is just me being me. It's sad when people stereotype others into a box because of narrow minds. Thanks!!✨️🎃✨️
@@AmarissNevae Same! Hate the hair metal term, it's too generic and so many bands get put into that category. Glam metal was the original term used, somehow over the years it just morphed into the hair metal term.
I had not heard of him until I was editing. I'll have to watch a movie 🎬 . I also don't know of the others you speak of! I know of The Scream guy, though!👻✨️👻✨️👻
I read a lot. If I watch a movie, I like to read the book first. I know of IT by Stephen King. When I bring IT up to people, they don't know about him. The only reason most people do is because of the remake, which I refuse to watch because the first was too amazing. ✨️✨️✨️✨️🎬
I see them live in 1986 in first part Of Accept (With Udo). At this moment don't know who is George Lynch. Was really near of them. Instantly become a fan.
One two Freddy's coming for you. Three four better lock your door. Five six get your crucifix. Seven eight better stay up late. Nine ten never sleep again
@@AmarissNevae pretty eerie I agree. I personally can't watch those kinds of movies anymore. I don't like things playing into my dreams and making me have a restless night. Now I fall asleep with Star Trek in the background. My dreams are interesting but not creepy
George and Don just couldn't get along. ( Just what i heard ) Saw them open for Aerosmith ,( they were bad, but Dokken did alright.). Freddy Krueger from " A Nightmare on Elm Street "
Please try THE WARNING, it's a rock band 3 sisters from Mexico 19 22 24yrs old and they all sing ( in English) your really missing out..try "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM" LIVE AT THE PEPSI CENTER CDMX OR EVOLVE LIVE AT THE MTV VMA'S 2023..you will love this family band.."You have been warned"🌎✌️

I had not heard of him until I was editing. I'll have to watch a movie 🎬 . I also don't know of the others you speak of! I know of The Scream guy, though!👻✨️👻✨️👻
@@AmarissNevae That blows my mind honestly. What were you Amish growing up or something? 😂
I'll have to watch them. I looked them up now. 🎬
@@williamdavis1998He's like Santa Claus, or King Kong!
I read a lot. If I watch a movie, I like to read the book first. I know of IT by Stephen King. When I bring IT up to people, they don't know about him. The only reason most people do is because of the remake, which I refuse to watch because the first was too amazing. ✨️✨️✨️✨️🎬
Good morning!
Great reaction! Please do "Into The Fire" next. It's off the 1984 "Tooth & Nail" album. It's quintessential Dokken IMO. 🎸🎶
Thanks 🔥✨️🔥
I see them live in 1986 in first part Of Accept (With Udo). At this moment don't know who is George Lynch. Was really near of them. Instantly become a fan.
I became a fan after this song. Thanks for sharing. ✨️✨️🌌
Happy Halloween
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!🎃✨️🍂✨️🎃
I've been there, done that, lol.
The soundtrack is better than the movie 🤣 dope reaction btw 🖤
Haha, awesome! Thanks! ✨️🖤
@AmarissNevae As far as the movies go the first nightmare on elm street was the best. Johnny Depp's debut ✌️
One two Freddy's coming for you. Three four better lock your door. Five six get your crucifix. Seven eight better stay up late. Nine ten never sleep again
😳 It's such a brilliant horror poem! 🎃
@@AmarissNevae pretty eerie I agree. I personally can't watch those kinds of movies anymore. I don't like things playing into my dreams and making me have a restless night. Now I fall asleep with Star Trek in the background. My dreams are interesting but not creepy
That's good. You definitely don't want to open any doorways for anything unwanted😳. I fall asleep to the sound of my cats snoring. ✨️✨️✨️
@@AmarissNevae purrfect
Are there tricks or treats in the pumpkin bags behind you?🎃🤘
I wish. 🍫🍭🍬🎃✨️
@@AmarissNevae so just tricks in them. Cheer up, candy will be on sale tomorrow 😋🦃
I'll be sure to get some. 🎃🍫🎼👻
They sounds like most rock bands like-bon jovy, euorope, defeppard and even iron maiden.
Thanks for the review Ameriss requesting Richard marx don't mean nothing
I'll add that to my long list of recommendations. I'm trying to catch up on a lot. Thanks for understanding. ✨️✨️✨️
Thank you for warning me. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Dokken ? This dude is walkin’. Happy Halloween though
Don't let the door hit you on the way out. 🚪🎃✨️🎼
@ Just waiting on some proper Thrash Metal reactions. Cheese is for the refrigerator, not my precious ears 🎃
This song was amazing. I think you're just jealous of the band. 🌌
@@AmarissNevae Upon further review I will say that the music is time appropriate. Dokken was lumped in with Poison and Warrant
and White Lion back then. But they actually had some talent as we see here. Good reaction as always. Editing is great.
I'm happy that you have come to your senses. Sometimes, it's best not to stereotype. Thanks!!!!✨️🌌✨️🌌✨️🌌✨️
Well, after this fantastic reaction, I think you should react to "Wrecking the Sphere" or "White Pearls, Black Ocean" by Sonata Arctica.
Thanks! I'll add it to my notebook. Please keep in mind that I'm getting through many recommendations. ✨️✨️
You need to watch the nightmare on Elm Street movies
I definitely will. Thanks 📺✨️
Wow!!! Did I just watch the teacher learn and come of age? Freddy is dead!! Or, did Dokken wake him for you? Haha. Sleep well. Great reaction.
I watched a snippet of this movie, and I must say it was quite brutal. It was kind of funny, though, at the same time. 😆✨️😳🎬 Thanks!
@AmarissNevae but you've never seen the movies is what I was asking or implying?
Yes ..he is a funnier horror movie like say Chucky.
I haven't seen it ever. I've seen others like the original IT and Scream. 🎬📺✨️
@@AmarissNevae okay. That's your homework then lol. Until then.
Please watch Nightmare On Elm Street. You will enjoy it.👍
I think that's a good idea. 🍿✨️

Patricia Arquette has been in many popular TV series
Medium
CSI Cyber
Severance
The Act
And many more .
She won an Oscar for a movie called Boyhood that was filmed over 10 years bit by bit each year to show the characters aging in real time ⏲
Thanks. I'll look into watching something of her! 📺✨️🍿
I love Dokken, seen them twice in concert, love George Lynch - one of my fav guitarists but, sorry all, I think this is Dokkens worst song and dont know why everyone does it. Check out In My Dreams, It's Not Love, Heaven Sent, Alone Again or best yet Mr Scary!
Thanks for sharing. This was my patreon request, haha, so that's why I did it. Yes, George Lynch is a great "shredder" as they say!!! ✨️🎸✨️🎸✨️🧛♀️
You just keep growing on me you little heavy metal demon you. 😈😈 You seem to like great guitarrists, then i will recommend you to check out a swedish dude called Yngwei Malmsten. Promise you a hell of a time listening to him. And i let you rate him your self.
Happy Halloween you little goblin, best wishes from your own viking. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Happy Halloween.🎃 I listened to "Tor with the Hammer" it was fun! Thanks!!! ✨️🎃✨️🎃✨️🎃✨️
@@AmarissNevae Then you must do a reaction to Helloween and the song Keeper of the seven keys. React to the live video. Make me proud. 😁😁😁
I'll add it to my recommendations. I have a long list. ✨️✨️✨️✨️
@@AmarissNevae I bet you do. You must stop sleeping and listen to music instead.😄😄
You should watch the movie and give us a reaction to the barking pig 🐷 😮
That sounds quite disturbing yet adorable. 🐷✨️✨️
Part 3 was the Best of theFranchise…IMO
Sweet. ✨️🎬
1987
You don't know who Freddy Krueger is ? Nightmare on elm Street franchise? Seriously your joking ?
I didn't know about him prior to this reaction. I know of The Scream character because I love that movie. I know of the clown IT because I read the book by Stephen King in high-school. I know of some horror characters. I just wasn't familiar with Freddy Kreuger. ✨️✨️✨️✨️🎬
I thought IT was the most popular? I love IT, the original one. I guess I'm in another dimension from everyone else. ✨️✨️✨️✨️
We all Float, Kevin. 🎈
@@AmarissNevae yes IT is very popular i think Freddy is more popular. There were 8 Nightmare movies, they even had a Freddy TV series called Freddy's Nightmares. There are Freddy Halloween costumes, books , comics, lunchboxes, posters, music videos, you name it even a Freddy hot line you could call lol. 📞
Recently Freddy even appeared on the comedy TV show The Goldbergs
@@AmarissNevae yes we all float and if you come down here you'll float too 😆 lol🎈🎈🎈🎈
I wound not classify Dokken as Glam
Oh, okay. ✨️🎸
1.......2 Freddy's coming for you.3.......4 better lock the door.5.........6 grab your crucifix.7........8 gonna stay up late.9.......10 you will never sleep again!
Time for deftones
What are songs that you recommend for the future? ✨️
Many but to be modest I do have to give you introduction songs so, Change, Be quiet and Drive, Digital Bath, and Minerva would be great ones to start with
If you do movie reactions you should watch A Nightmare On Elm Street but just the first 3 and the last one New Nightmare the rest are shit
I barely kinda started on this channel. That's a good idea, though. Haha, I'll take your advice on the rest of them if I do movie reactions someday. ✨️✨️✨️🎬
I know this band.but dont listen to them much.
