Funny I only had 2 fruit baskets arrangements for Valentine’s Day that I delivered to the same town. But no I didn’t get any flower arrangements for that day. The best was delivering the 1 basket to a school and here is the school resource officer looking at me wondering why am I delivering the thing and I had to say it’s Valentine’s Day. Oops.
Oh Ben I had somewhat the same thing happen to me with a customer a long time ago. This lady ordered from 2 different places and me and another DD driver showed up at the same time to deliver. I was like ok this is wired.

Great video … the funny thing was when Ben said flowers and cigs didn’t know if he loved her or wanted to kill her … me and hubby did a KFC order with Uber Eats over £200 order filled all 3 bags and back seat. We are new 3 weeks in are you have learned us a lot x thx

Hi, thank you! Sometimes we get heavy orders such as some shopping orders that have a lot of bottled drinks. We work between the apps; once we get an order on one, we pause the other apps or sometimes just have one app on and do that when it’s busy.

Its not too far from where you did the Knebworth video , similar scenery after about 4 miles your in the sticks
Our Mcdonalds is very slow , extremely slow , Its like a step back in time around here , the big fast food shops just ruin the earnings , But I only do evenings and sometimes make good hourly pay
I'd like too see how the morning shifts go , would be a good video maybe ' If I could only see what Its like picking up from Starbucks and Costa etc , cool

I think I need to give this a go so tired of my warehouse job for 350 week, quick question when u sign up to the apps do they all send the uniform and bag for free ? Loved the video!
Deliveroo send you it for free, just eat is £5.99 for a bag and coat and Uber charge loads so don’t get that!😂

And storm Eunice on the Friday was a major set back! We’d have been much better off doing it this week as it’s half term here, keep watching!

It’s interesting reading in the comments how, weather and general events might have such an effect on earnings. Storms, bank holidays, valentines day all add or subtract to the totals. I know one taxi driver who loves the rain, he says when it rains, it rains pounds! Lol

You can’t do orders from both apps at the same time, one at a time.
Is Uber Eats better or do they stand out compared to Just Eat and Deliveroo?
Uber Eats is my least favourite!

So £1000 in a week but what will you really get from that when you take away costs. petrol, insurance, car repair, car replacement etc. one fix you would need to cover is the starter motor, for all the start / stopping for each order.
then working out your Hr rate.
the thing with Iceland you can not keep the items Frozen so you have to get it to them very quick, easy is winter not in a hot summer day. £1000 each £142 a day to earn. before deductions.
even from the £215 the miles of 148 miles at the 45p (gov figure) is just over £66 for just the fuel. so taking it to £149. before the other take offs also if you started at 7am and ended near 8pm that 11 hrs of work.

Videos like this contribute to the dire situation of more riders than orders. The smart ones stop posting about the job and earning but usually by that point they realised the damage to their earn is done.
You do realise it’s a free for all and Deliveroo will keep hiring because the algorithm is designed to pay less when there’s more riders logged in. It’s in Deliveroo interests to keep hiring.
Also I think you all seem to overlook that it’s free login and especially when there’s a boost on everyone and there grandmothers are out. People don’t think.
For the trolls who comments on this saying is still good money for me well consider yourself to be in a lucky area but all it takes is a few more riders to sign up that are desperate and that can all change very quickly.

Just found your channel and I have a question or 2 for you.
1 when UberEats driver accepts a order pick up, why are they allowed to wait upto 10mins and then cancel? I ask because when this happens to me, as a customer, my food mainly arrives stone cold and I think if a driver accepts order, they should be made to deliver. I’ve often placed order and had 3 drivers accept and then cancel and I wait around 1 hour or more for cold food. I understand that UberEats drivers may not get paid for waiting around for food to be ready but at the end of the day, it’s their job and they accepted those terms.
2.do UberEats drivers get paid weekly? Or maybe instantly, after each delivered order?
3. Do drivers get the full amount of the tip given, by customer?
Hi. You answered your own question: we don’t get paid to wait so if the order is going to be a long time, we’re not going to get paid £3 an hour to wait for an order. We are allowed to cancel orders/not accept orders. We get paid weekly. Yes, we get all the tip and then pay tax on it. Hope that helps!
@@AtlantaDelivers so you think it’s totally fine for 3 plus drivers to take order and just cancel? Basically a fuck you to the customer. That’s a very bad attitude to have. It’s these types of drivers that make customers NOT want to leave a tip.
@@grahamkelly8662 the orders should be ready; I’m not going to wait 30 minutes to an hour for an order and not get paid to wait. We get paid enough in the UK without tips, it’s not a problem.

@@AtlantaDelivers well I hope I never get you as my UberEats driver. Drivers that cancel and make customer receive cold food, are not good drivers. Shame on you. And you are a liar. Many UberEats drivers have a message on profile, saying that tips help greatly and are much appreciated. So speak for yourself because others need the tips and drivers like you, make it less likely that they will receive tip.
