I'm so grateful you covered PMM because I spent two whole days trying to set it up (I know nothing and am a slave to noob-friendly instructions) only to end up so frustrated and ultimately confused when I saw comments about how the container does not have a UI and you would have to maintain it manually. Like you said I hope they release it with a UI in the future but yeah it's not worth it if in the end it's not making life easier
The lack of ui does make PlexMetaManager more challenging for the average user - but it's worth it for the posters and collections.
One thing you didn't mention is that it can also send requests to radarr, so can build those collections automatically also such as Oscars winners
Hi @ZZZer00, I went by what they promote in their website as the features provided. I did see configuration settings for arrs but no explanation about what it is supposed to do. Still, I don't see that the benefits of it warrant a whole application that doesn't even provide its target user base a web interface.
@@techbytetips very true, no denying it took me many hours of trial and error to get it working the way I wanted. But, I see that as part of a learning process and I'm happy with the result
You complain a lot.
Funny that you say that. I am not complaining. I am pointing out why this application is virtually useless for the average person. If you are a developer you have to make your application usable for your target audience. They clearly didn't.
