  • A conversation with Anne Paré, who wears many hats - she is a poet, painter, teacher of embodied mysticism, dancer, mother and a deep listener. We talk about the intricacies of holding space for compassionate dialogue in the highly charged atmosphere of social media, particularly in relation to the brutal conflict in the Middle East.
After having been in Rwanda with her family at the age of 11 and evacuating with the escalation of war, Anne describes seeing the French media's portrayal of the events she had witnessed directly. From this departure, we explore the call and response between our embodied and digital lives. In the dialogue, Anne reads her poetry and shares stories of collaborative sense-making with her 5-year-old son, supporting an artist through grief, and listening to our "collective nervous system" through myriad artistic practices.
