I just got Emotional Rain in the mailbox today, and Elevate, Radio On! and Diamond Baby are on order. I hadn’t listened to Lee Aaron since Bodyrock and I was suddenly curious to see what she was up to. After listening to eight songs from the last three albums, I went on an order binge. Still need to get Fire and Gasoline. I’m really glad to see someone do a ranking of her albums!
I'm glad to hear the ranking helped. You can always get a list of album titles on wikipedia, but a description of the musical changes over the years is what matters more in many cases.
I checked out Call of the Wild because I never had that one. The song Beat 'em Up is also on the Blue Oyster Cult album, Club Ninja, from the same year. It was written by Bob Halligan Jr. who also wrote songs for Judas Priest, Kiss, Kix, Icon, and Helix!@@medd1990
Back again, as I've had a chance to listen to most of the albums a bit more recently. I have since sold 2 Preciious as it never grew on me at all over time and was clearly my least favourite. My full list is as follows, it's mostly based on the number of tracks I liked, although some albums have tracks I like alot more than higher ranked ones but just not as many : 1 - Bodyrock 2 - Call of The Wild 3 - Some Girls Do 4 - Lee Aaron 5 - Radio On 6 - Elevate 7 - Metal Queen 8 - Diamond Baby Blues 9 - Lee Aaron Project 10 - Tattoo Me 11 - Emotional Rain 12 - Fire and Gasoline 13 - Slick Chick 14 - Beautiful Things 15 - Almost Christmas 16 - 2 Preciious
I sadly missed her show here in Nova Scotia a week ago. I have Metal Queen, Call of the Wild and S/T in my driving playlist and love them. Some decent tracks, like The Champion, Head Above Water, Deceiver etc. 🤘
I have only been a fan since 2004, I would rate them quite differently but we do agree on quite a few though too. Call of the Wild is definitely a favourite along with the track Barely Holding On, with you 100% there. Also agree with your thoughts on 2 Preciious, I'm sorry to say it was actually the only album of hers on which I failed to find a single track I really liked, Emotional Rain was alot better but still not so much of a favourite though. I would've rated Radio On alot higher though, as I really enjoyed it.

My brother lives in Nova Scotia, and I just heard he missed the show, too 😅

Crikey i couldn't disagree with this order more (other than the outside stuff and the Christmas one), but I won't bother as it would take too long.
Super ranking video again.
