Vintage Hoover Dustette Model 2614B Plus Tool Kit Unboxing & First Look

A popular little mains powered hand held vacuum cleaner from the 1960s I believe, in Swedish Green & Smoked Pine. This example is in very good condition for its age and comes with a complete set of boxed cleaning tools.

Very nice vintage machine. I am in the USA and from watching other videos of UK collectors I believe the suppressor is in the handle by the power switch. Also I think you can take a generic fleecy Sebo upright bag and cut the top off and trim it down to fit inside and tug under the metal ring.

Very nice Roger - the bag is in superb condition considering its age, from the serial number 907 is July 1969 so it literally is from "The Summer of 69".

Hi love your Dustette.iv got from eBay.the model 2504 witch is the fixed nozzle in the front.its in the original box with the instructions and Guarantee.cheers David.

If it still has the suppressor under the switch you might want to take it out as every single 60s and 70s dustette I’ve owned had there’s blow up
