Tele Tuesday praise the Lord!!! It's a custom to boot!! So clean and a guitar that's been on my wish list since 1975!!!! Yes I'm that old and then some.
Man, I love these teles. They are so rock n roll. Even the extended pickguard is bad ass. It makes the tele look like a rock machine instead of a country guitar. Finally, that riff at 5:18 is sick!
Neck Pickup: Can't You Hear Me Knocking - The Rolling Stones Middle Pickup: Tumbling Dice - The Rolling Stones Bridge Pickup: All Down The Line - The Rolling Stones
Great Tele.you can get original sounds and rock the crap out of it!my favorite tele version.dig the mocha.great show.thanks.love Tele Tuesday!keep up the great work.
#TeleTuesday #1975TeleCustom 🇺🇸💩 1)Cant You Hear Me Knockin/Stones 2)Tumblin Dice/Rolling Stones 🎲 3)All Down the Line/Rolling Stones my fav Tele also @markagnesi Keef setlist 🔥 wassup Jen 🎥🎸
Can you believe that there are people out there (my children included) who don’t know the difference between a Custom Tele, a Tele Custom and a Custom Shop Tele!!!!???
beautiful guitar , very unique , and what a great sound , perfect for some Keef. Always liked the custom with the humbucker , adds that extra kick in the a%* , can't you hear me rockin. Great set Mark , great show , very informative as always , thanks Jen.
I have a confession to make..back in the '80s, a friend had one of these in Poopy Brown...he asked if I could strip it and refinish it natural blonde...so I did...and it turned out beautiful, a 2 pc ash body in clear lacquer...but that was then, and now we know about original finishes...BTW, that Tele sounds KILLER.
DKentization keef was hip since 63 with brian playing little red rooster, jumpin and street fighting man in open e and d ,stray cat in open g , ry cooder is awesome but he gave keef a booklet of chord shapes , ya gotta know boy
I tried to find my '72 Catalog to see which was the 'flagship' model, the Tele Custom or the Deluxe but couldn't find it. One thing i do remember was the dark walnut finish used on both examples. Heck, everything was 'walnut finish' back then. This color worked with the black pg. oh well...already have a Squire Fat Tele (summers style) so i'm set.
That was awesome. Ya know why? Because Joe Bob (of Joe Bob & the Grizzlers) played one of those on the song "She Slapped the Country Right Out of My Mouth" ... and its probably the greatest cowboy song EVER.. except for maybe that one by Bob Wills.. or that one by Dean Martin & Ricky Nelson.. from Rio Logo, I think. You know.. the one with Walter Brennen on the harp. That was pretty good, too.
I had a vintage blonde 72 Tele Custom that I bought in 1987 for $650. It was my first real electric. Loaned to a friend, and it got stolen. Man I loved thet guitar.
Yeah, I don’t know if it actually qualifies as a tele with two humbuckers. I’ll still take one if anyone is giving one away. I promise I’ll love it care for it and play it every day. Or at least put in the rotation. It can take strats spot.
Two scoops of poopy brown 💩💩, the carpets match the drapes, and the Stones, with a little Open G tuning sprinkled on top! Tele Custom - nice way to start the week.
i just got one of thease gave to me it looks the same as yours but its in tv yellow i think it might be a 1971 im a bass player so i dont no much abou t it sound great has a 3 bolt neck
Someone help, I can't find it and figure some body here should know. There was a Tele that had the wide range and a tele bridge but standard tele controls. Not VVTT but VT and a three way on the standard chrome control plate. Am I wrong?
Remains the coolest guitar Fender has ever made.

Man, I love these teles. They are so rock n roll. Even the extended pickguard is bad ass. It makes the tele look like a rock machine instead of a country guitar. Finally, that riff at 5:18 is sick!
That music is 46 years old and brand new at the same time. Great guitar, great sound, great playing. Thanks!
Stone(s) me! It’s all about the tone and that tele has it in major spades. Awesome playing too!
Rock Hard Riffs riff hard
You guys never disappoint always know how to show off the instrument.....even on Thumping Thursday
OUTSTANDING!!!!! Love the tasty playing on that '75. Keef approves of this - I can feel him nodding in approval!!!

Can you believe that there are people out there (my children included) who don’t know the difference between a Custom Tele, a Tele Custom and a Custom Shop Tele!!!!???
Kids these days...hey get off my lawn you little bastards
This is unconscionable. These differences should be taught in all public schools. The adults have really failed the children here.
beautiful guitar , very unique , and what a great sound , perfect for some Keef. Always liked the custom with the humbucker , adds that extra kick in the a%* , can't you hear me rockin. Great set Mark , great show , very informative as always , thanks Jen.

Some of my favourite Keef here. Great stuff Mark!
Love that Open G sound.
Mark, you have a fine selection of Stones t-shirts!
Keef is the original open G gangster.
Jack Grattan i thumbed you up, even though I dont like you ,just cause
who learned about open tunings from the OG of LA session players Rye Tooters
DKentization keef was hip since 63 with brian playing little red rooster, jumpin and street fighting man in open e and d ,stray cat in open g , ry cooder is awesome but he gave keef a booklet of chord shapes , ya gotta know boy

Mark is a beast with a Tele.
I bought that same Tele back in '92 for $300.00! Why did I ever get rid of it?!!!
Steve McHenry Why, indeed? Oh, the things we do. Peace, brother.
Bopegully it went to a deserving muderfacker ,baby
Yes all stones
I tried to find my '72 Catalog to see which was the 'flagship' model, the Tele Custom or the Deluxe but couldn't find it. One thing i do remember was the dark walnut finish used on both examples. Heck, everything was 'walnut finish' back then. This color worked with the black pg. oh well...already have a Squire Fat Tele (summers style) so i'm set.
This is a jaw dropping-ly cool guitar
I remember when those were new in the store. They also looked great in the catalog. I still went with a Les Paul.
Like Forest Gump said...…...stoopid is as stoopid does.
Don't really care for 70s Tele's BUT
this Baby is SSsswweeeet!!! 🎸💚
Marks the man
That neck only, Seth Lover, tone....Wow!
you know mark is happy when there is three stones songs on the menu ;p
Mark how many bands are you in? Very versatile!
Awesome vid, watched it with my 8 yr old and now he’s running around yelling “carpet matches the drapes”😜
All hail the mighty Leo Fender/Seth Lover mashup.
Love it.
ROLL THEM DICE!
Is that capo up side down (be kind)
Yeah, I don’t know if it actually qualifies as a tele with two humbuckers. I’ll still take one if anyone is giving one away. I promise I’ll love it care for it and play it every day. Or at least put in the rotation. It can take strats spot.
Wasn't that the guitar that Green Sombrero played on the White Album when he was with Herman's Hermits...?
That Can't you hear me knocking riff was like a punch in the face
All Keith all the time.
Yes! It's not a tele without the bridge single coil pickup!
Someone needs to order a Custom Shop Custom Telecaster Custom. double binding and Seth lover goodness.
The wide range is the best humbucker ever created
Happy Tele-Tuesday
everyone. Welcome back!
It's an all Rolling Stones/
Keef episode!
"We boogied in the kitchen, we boogied in the hall,
I got some on my finger and I wiped it on the Wall" -
Wow
Can you hear me knock'n and Tumbling dice.. and what's the last song?
