Metal Bro i have watched many of your videos and its nice to see that a dancer with knowlegde react to other dancers. But i noticed that you do not prefer dancers with high technique like Larry from Les Twins or and this case Skitzo. And i think the reason is because they are to technical for you and do not put enough groove and energy in their dance. It‘s just my observation,i could be wrong. It is not a wrong thing, but at the end dance is also a matter of taste and that should be considered if you rate a dancer👌🏽 Another thing is if i understand it right that you thought Skitzo is a better solo dancer rather than a Battledancer. Skitzo has many battles where he killed it. There are many videos in youtube and even in Fusion Concept, maybe except the final against icee and alex, he killed it in other rounds.
What you mean is that they are very technical and base their styles mainly on a lot of street dance isolations and isolations from different styles of footwork, handwork, and body movements to be separate from another without using those isolations for grooving as much as dancers who strictly focus on hip hop dance itself. Les Twins is more into merging all styles into one while always using technical references in their freestyle and concepts. Skitzo on the other hand does not merge styles together, but keep them separate and switch between different street dance and studio dance styles in his freestyle and often switches his technical footwork before transitioning into each style.
Balance is everything. I don't prefer the overuse of control to the point movement comes off rigged or stiff like. The control and dime stops when you mention technique, that I believe you're referring to, is what my foundation is rooted in so I definitely prefer that. It's more so the sporadic choice of movement while occasionally being stiff with the two that you mentioned that sometimes make it a hit or miss for me. I continuously say just because I may not enjoy watching a dancer in the same way others would doesn't mean I don't see it for what it is
@@metalspalace Facts💯 Personally in my dance journey though one of my goals is to be able to transition into any individual style and dance using that one style very well or at an elite level when the opportunity is open for it and also be able to take references that I like from many different styles that suits my taste the most to mix it all together to form my own freestyle flow or dance style. Especially for when I'm dancing to a track that has music style fusions like for example a song that can have a hip-hop type of beat as the main beat but a vocal to a dancehall song with a slight beat switch to accent a dancehall style of music(or vice versa). Style fusions or switches are often heard in dub-step and hip-hop music. Basically I would like to utilize dancehall grooves for the dancehall part, and hip-hop and street dance moves for the hip-hop part in this example of a freestyle without making the style switches look unnatural, but merged or synchronous to the vibe of the music. That's just my personal goal right there. Now this is not to the point that I would be crip walking or blood walking in the wrong neighborhood now! 😂😂😂
Jamz could have done better in the second round. Can only blame the DJ so much, not a lot of harmony or musicality. That being said the DJ shows the problem with WOD, they're the type of crowd that watches the dancers on America's got talent and if you bone break and miss every beat like a Blueface verse you can still beat an actual dancer because you were doing splits and circus tricks.
Bro djs choose the tracks dancers have no idea of what track is going to b played skitzo been frestyling for almost all his life he’s just more trained stop taking away from his talents

Lmfaaaaaooo the blueface verse hahahaha
Id agree if the judges weren’t actually really good dancers. Just look at the panel for this battle.
Come on... U would give a tie to first round?!
From how I see it the DJ catered more towards Skitzo.
He killed it, but what if the music choice was different?

@@jusvon1270 Skitzo is gifted. I can’t deny his talent.
However if this was an actual street event and not WOD, the outcome may have been different.
@@AnimangaHDx that’s a good ass point. He does know how to kill lyrics.
1 song??? :(
