Skitzo has given a lot of patience in his dance, the way he waves is difficult too, it's like his arms/body float when he dance , he can stay in difficult positions too which is really hard . Yes he is definitely in my top5!🔥💪🏼💎🌪️
If he reminds you of the twins, that because he use to love them lol, there's videos of him with the neck warmer and everything. He used to be at some of their workshops. But Skitzo seemingly used them as a influence but created his own stuff.
Skitzo's Jookin move is the one of the most Iconic and widely taken, it's called the Buck Jump or the Classic Buck Jump. Makes me cry a little bit inside every time I see one of these big dancers using the Buck Jump as filler instead of exploring the style. I'm a newly minted fanboy and there's so much to learn abt it. That being said, Skitzo's Toe spins and Toe Stalls are dope and without a doubt Memphis inspired. Gliding and Jookin are often mixed so that's not too surprising. I would love to see Skitzo vs Kidd the monster bc they both glide and sometimes Buck Jump for less than half a minute😂
Cancel Madonna, she straight up stole my boy. Mans been MIA since. But seriously though Skitzo is def a problem and really hope he comes back and does battles etc.
Honestly after that Fik-Shun video I agree with you even more when it comes to the importance of fundamentals within your dance. I think what did it for me was when Fik-Shun brought up Krump as an example of someone "creating a style/foundation" that didn't exist before as if that's the same thing he's doing. The thing is Krump has it's roots in other styles that it used as a foundation for it to be built upon. Same thing with Jookin etc.
He's easily in my top 5 for actually the reason you brought up. His battles do often feel like he's just trying to showcase too many different concepts. But while that doesn't always make for the best battle rounds, the sheer amount of interesting concepts he throws out and the incredibly clean delivery of them makes it hard for me to put other people above him. There are definitely other dancers that are more likely to produce a better round, but his technical ability is top tier and his creativity is unmatched. I think you'll understand the hype more if you watch some of his non-battle stuff (like the dances he uploads on instagram for example), that's when he's really in his element since he's more focused on the music than on winning a battle.
@@RUclipsHighlightHub Not at all. Skitzo could beat Larry in a 1 on 1. Skitzo could also beat Laurent in a 1 on 1. But Fik shun couldn't beat either twin in a 1 on 1 to random tracks. At all. Now put the twins on the same team...their power level skyrockets. The way they feed off of each other, spontaneous routines, charisma, confidence, musicality, concepts all skyrocket. They're eating them up in that 2v2. I'm not saying they're unstoppable...I just dont think Fikshun's good enough to combat all that with a track he DOESNT know. Skitzo is.
Skitzo is one of my favorite dancers for not having a solid crew like criminal crew or others for him to have built his style from the ground out solo, and to have this type of musicality is a gift from a higher power. Dude is a monster!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
I think Skitzo is a true artist, and I agree that his social media posts are much better at showcasing his talent. I feel like when he’s not battling he stays more in his own creative space and doesn’t worry so much about throwing out a lot of- you might say... cliché - moves that are sporadic. Even so, his battles are still awesome!
skitzo definitely has a top 10 resume already hes in my top 5 maybe top 3 dancers of all time just wish him and legit teamed up more recently and more top tier opponents but im sure they will come in the future these boys kinda young still skitzo could very well be top 3 of all time when its all said and done if his work ethic is the same as it used to be....we shall see :)
My fav round always be the round vs NoScript. I think he can be in a top 10 of US dancers, because when he can takes the oppotunities of represent the country he did a good job, and we dont know how he can dance right now but he is great
That og Bobby Johnson one is rlly what did it first time I saw that shi I was li dude a problem 🔥 that shi was insane & I wanna see more like that the track prolly hit em hard cause that’s ma shi buh I don’t hold him in many high regard anymore tho since there’s so many dancers that caught up with the time but he’s still one of my fav dancers & he can be so much more if he dive in & keep a constant flow in movement sum ya also gotta see when I’m looking at dance it ont always be abt the moves Except how you flowing & connecting to the music💯 just how I feel, tho let me know wha cha think. His dance more resembles Larry to me in some cases just with a lot more complex technique & more styles like flex & jook & I understand it bc he’s from the US ik a lot of people who dance like him like I live out here😭 still a great dancer all around💯.
Hey ugh, when you're talking at the end of the reaction, may you please reduce the volume of the background music. I don't mind that it's there, it's just a lil bit too loud
I appreciate your objectivity and glad you noticed some Les Twins in Skitzo performance. How old is this kid? How long has he been dancing? I'm relatively new in the interest of this style of dance and I'm loving it. Thanks!
LITERALLY ONE OD THE BEST IN THE SCENE HE NEEDS TO RETURN AND QUIT PLAYING!!!! needs to trust himself him and paradox are so unique and have a lot of versatility 💯💯💯💯🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Skitzo is fantastic but he’s in the top 20 or something. I love FikShun, dude is my top 3. Skitzo is very clean, fast, versatile, but I just don’t think he makes the right choices in his dances sometimes. I think this is largely due to his large dance vocabulary. Since he knows so many movement patterns and styles I think it’s tough to apply them cogently in a routine. Skills and vocabulary he’s top tier The application/musicality, B- tier
@@SerpentineWisdom Yes, FikShun is probably the best Freestyle/Allstyle dancer/battler. He has his flaws of course but people like Les Twins and Skitzo are an acquired taste and it’s difficult not to fatigue after seeing their move sets at scale over time.
@@stabbyalone318 everyone has opinions. And no one is wrong technically. Dance is a art and there's no right or wrong Do I agree.. fuck no, but still 😂😂
Not coming from a hate bone in my body. He grew ALOT. But I will say it looks like a Flexing Larry....I don't mean to sound like that but there is no groove and bounce. Just moves. Some dance like that but it's just not my flavour. He is definitely a free movement individual. I admire that. Representing USA tho? Idk.
skitzo definitely gonna have to see fik shun at some point since fik shun took down legit....in my opinion fik shun got smoked those first 2 rounds vs legit but they gave them a 3 rd somehow and cant lie fikshun gave my dude legit the works in the 3rd round ....legit in my top 3 favorite so no bias or hate fikshun got that but im kinda glad cuz fik shun vs skitzo is basically guaranteed at some point . that will be the battle for the king of new generation usa all style imo

I’ve watched that OG Bobby Johnson round more than any other round. Used to study that religiously
Keep making cold opens like this man! They're hilarious!
Real talk. I never fucked with Skitzo until this showcase. Bless you for blessing us, bro.
