I bought 2 tx210 and 2 tx212s subwoofers for my basement and Im very happy with the sound i get. I spent less than 800 for the whole thing. I got 20% discount in guitar center. People hating on Alto definitely have a bigger budget than me. They sound like much more expensive speakers.

Everything but the RCF stuff should be used in living rooms. Seriously the RCF gear is in a totally different category from the others.

That qsc and Yamaha are sexy. Curious to hear them live

Disagree the QSC looks too industrial and those holes invite drunks to pour or put things into them, the Yamaha looks ok but I prefer the traditional grill but the 2 subs are band pass types so they don’t really require a grill but the QSC needs a rework if they bring out a new model imo.

Thanks for the tip. Would love to get a recommendation on which sub to use with the Yamaha DZR12 and also for the RCF ART 910A. I have the RCF 702 and want to upgrade them to a 15” or 18” lightweight sub. Thanks

I am curious what you have decided. I am considering the 12 inch rcf sub mk3 version that just dropped as first subs. They will go with the RCF art 910a.

As soon as I saw alto in the top five I stopped the video. I’m sorry.

I thought the same thing, then he jumped to RCF and almost redeemed himself.

You gotta remember he's looking at stuff small pub bands can afford, but I agree Alto are trash 😂

The new Alto 4 series redeems themselves. The 3 series sucked but they are learning. Again for clubs and medium gigs only.

I used them for a year or so on dj gigs. It serves the purpose of filling in low end on a budget, that you just can't get from only a 2 or 3-way cabinet by itself. Push it too hard, and yes, it will show its budget build limits. Stay at just below clipping, and it worked great.

The new 4 series corrects the 3 series shortcomings. I have the 15” and 8” tops and the 18” subs and the difference in the old series is notable. Good for clubs and gets 120SPL easily.
