    Infrared hot plate Electric stove vs Induction cooker | which one to buy ??
    Are you in the market for a new electric cook top but confused about whether to go for an Infrared Hotplate Electric Stove or an Induction Cooker? In this video I break down the key differences between these two popular kitchen appliances to help you make an informed decision.
    I divided this into 7 parameters:
    Heating Mechanism:
    Infrared Hotplate Electric Stove: These stoves use traditional electric heating elements (resistance coils) under a ceramic glass surface. The coils heat up, and the heat is transferred to the cookware through radiation and conduction.
    Induction Cooker: Induction cookers use electromagnetic induction to heat the cookware directly. A magnetic field is created, and when compatible cookware (usually made of ferrous metal) is placed on the cook top, it induces electrical currents within the cookware, generating heat.
    Speed and Efficiency:
    Infrared Hotplate Electric Stove: Takes a bit longer to heat up compared to induction cookers. The entire cooktop surface doesn't get hot instantly, and there may be some heat loss during the transfer.
    Induction Cooker: Heats up very quickly because the heat is generated directly in the cookware. It's more energy-efficient as it minimises heat loss.
    Control and Precision:
    Infrared Hotplate Electric Stove: Temperature control may not be as precise, and there might be some lag in adjusting heat levels.
    Induction Cooker: Offers precise temperature control. The response time to adjustments is quick, allowing for more accurate cooking.
    Safety:
    Infrared Hotplate Electric Stove: The cooktop surface can get hot during operation, posing a burn risk. However, some models have safety features like auto-shutoff.
    Induction Cooker: The cooktop surface remains relatively cool because it's only the cookware that gets hot. This reduces the risk of burns. Additionally, many induction cookers have safety features like automatic shut-off when no cookware is detected.
    Energy Efficiency:
    Infrared Hotplate Electric Stove: Generally less energy-efficient due to heat loss during transfer.
    Induction Cooker: More energy-efficient as it directly heats the cookware, minimizing heat dissipation.
    Cookware Compatibility:
    Infrared Hotplate Electric Stove: Compatible with a wide range of cookware, including non-metallic ones.
    Induction Cooker: Requires cookware with magnetic properties (ferrous metal). Non-compatible cookware won't work on an induction cooktop.
    Cleaning and Maintenance:
