I bought a full size when a LGS had them on special... was stunned how well I liked it. I then bought the compact model and it was incredible as well... Bought a Combat after that and been running them hard and have had no problems as all... the combat came with three 20 round mags... The others came with one or two mags but was able to find additional mags online but they were more expensive than glock mags but that is not surprising due to volume of sales... I would highly recommend the stoeger... I have had multiple friends buy them after seeing mine and talking with me and they all love them as well
Just bought a Stoger STR 9C I am a old shakey man who just finnished a bunch of Chemo I though I would give this gun the way for so took it out of the box and put 200 rounds of different reload ammo trough it from 100 grain 115 , 124 , 147 I shot it standing at 20 yards it all cut the 2 inch bull right out of the target with Zero malfunctions folks for $249.00 gun it is a dam good deal
I do too! Well most of the time anyway! If I'm wearing something like basketball shorts I carry my G3C Toro which has a built on clip that I clip in my pocket!
@@WN_Byers of course I carry with safety engaged. That's why I bought it in particular because has a safety. My carry guns with out only stay in holsters. Thanks though!
I found one at a local shop for less than $200. It is my new house gun. I was impressed with the way it shot at the range. And from what I've heard it takes Canik TP series Mags.
I’ve noticed that as well. I picked the basic one without optics (personally I don’t run optics on micro carry firearms.) Like you said, it is nice and I’ve enjoyed it so far. Take care
Had to sell my CZ PCR and P365XL a few months ago to make rent, you know, with all the building back better. Tried to carry my G19 for a bit, but it seems to want to fill the night stand bed side role. I took a chance on this STR 9SC tonight, as it is 1/6th the price of the two I sold. Hated to have to sell my babies, but I am hoping for the best with the Stoeger. Now to find extra mags.
@raa2640 I was looking for an mc9 as well. Prices seem to have risen as they are becoming more popular. I see $399. A CZ P10 variant was also on my list, $339 sometimes. I could not pass on the Stoeger at $179 after rebate. Too bad mags aren't glock compatible, as it seems to be a g26 clone. Comes with one 10rd mag, works fine with hollows and fmjs. Found a 13rd mag, sucks with hollows (rounds nosedive). Gonna take it apart, spray it with "do ponte" dry film lubricant, click my heels three times and hope for the best. I feel you made a wise choice. Just needs to go bang when you need it to.
Love your videos. On the subject of pistols from companies that start with the letter "S", have you considered doing a video on the Steyr pistols? I carry an M9-A2 MF (5th Gen) every day, and have examples of Gen 1, 2, 3, and 4.
.......Glock only wishes they could produce a firearm more refined than the MC. .......coming from someone that carried Glocks (17, 22 and 27) for yearly (21) years in uniform.......Glocks are extremely overated!!!!!! ........I have the C and MC and both feel and perform better than Glock I've shot for half the price!!!!!!
Oversized trigger guard works well for gloved hands, too.
I got both Stoeger pistols I love them both but that Stoeger combat pistol is real nice and the 20 round mag fits in the regular full size Stoeger
Stoeger been underrated I owned two of them 9c 9sc over a 1,000 rounds on Both zero malfunctions…

EDC this, brilliant, comfortable, accurate and reliable
Thinking about picking one up for EDC.

@danielbrunner7730 if you don't carry with safety engaged, keep it in a holster that covers the trigger. You are asking for trouble

The stoeger STR-9MC is a nice pistol but there's hardly any reviews of it

@@77Infidelhad to do that myself with my Hellcat, and Walther PPS, recently bought the Canik MC9 over the Stoeger and am kinda kicking myself now
😕

New sub, love the content im surprised i never saw this channel before
If people are not aware of this, they do sell a 16+1 one magazine for the STR9c, I ordered three of them.
I have it, the spring softens over time so that it can be installed better.
What holsters work best with this gun? Id have a red dot on mine too.
Why no take-down to get a quick view of the internals ?
demonitizing & blocking via youtube
Great review

Hey man has anyone ever told you that your voice sounds exactly like the character Mr. Krueger from Seinfeld?
Do you think you could do a review of the Taurus TH45
What was the holster model in this video?
This is just a cheaper G26 with better ergos.
Glocks are ugly compared to this and I like that’s it is cheap, here in pa I paid around $410 with op ready

If you wanna Glock, get a Glock
Because not all shooters want to pay Glock money if they can get Glock quality for Taurus money.
I have Glocks. I just wanted a budget gun to play with.
Why same internals Glock just costs more
