I was given the great full gift to hear, the greatest thing in life is to hear you mother say “I love you” I heard the words for the first time. Another thing was I happily burned my deaf caution jacket. My grandparents showed up, and I could hear their voices. I could hear….my own.

Thank you for sharing. My good friend just found out her eight year old daughter has stargardt. Were devastated, but looking all all options now.

I live with stargardts disease, I have since I was about 15 or 16. I am 28 now and I am from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. My vision is 20/2200 which is the line that they consider you legally blind at as far as I know. Anything that can help my vision at all would be incredible, I am not talking about getting a drivers license possible, but just something that can help in any way. I am defineatly doing more research on this eSight product!

Your confidence is intoxicating! :-D Maybe it's time that I tried something like this... I tend to be a bit self conscious about my poor eye sight (-I also have Stargardt's)... but you make it look so effortless and sophisticated! Cheers!
