@@Graestra Apparently food delivery is insanely cheap in Japan, Uber's Japanese branch is losing a lot of money trying to win market share from local competitors. You can get a full meal delivered to your door for $10 in Tokyo.
@@JollyOldCanuck A dense city like Tokyo probably has very established delivery options. Restaurants bringing food to people wasn't a thing app developers invented, so I'm not surprised their worse and more expensive model isn't taking off.
I'm not gonna lie, I do the same shit when I'm hungry in the middle of the night. I hold myself to the standard of never leaving home without being clean and dressed in a presentable fashion, and sometimes I just cannot be bothered to shower, brush my teeth, get dressed in jeans and a clean shirt, and get in my car at 2am for a slurpee and some fucking taquitos, or a box of McNuggets and a cheeseburger. I'd rather just summon the damn food.
It's so expensive. If all you're ordering is nuggets, you're literally spending more on delivery charge than you are on food at that point. But, I guess if you have the disposable income, it doesn't really matter. How the other half lives, man, haha...
I often order 7-11 delivery even though it’s just 100 meters away from me, I do only when I need at least two packs of bottled water. (7-11 delivery is free) our tap water is not safe to drink.
that's the keyword " japanese vtubers" it's a norm for those 100% shut in people my man... some of them haven't touched grass in months... and they are not joking about it.... For "normal" people that is way too much money wasted and Weird... cuz konbini is like grass in Japan, they are everywhere just 5 mins walking and u got one or a ton.
I had the same thought. I have never heard any American mention "Spam musube" unless they were from Hawaii. It literally doesn't exist anywhere else in the United States. Even Spam, itself, is like...an unheard of relic from a bygone era. It's like the cheap meat substitute that your uncles ate during the 1960s when they were young and broke. I'm not sure if my local grocery stores even sell Spam at this point.
It’s just spam, rice, and nori, right? Like make it at home?? Even if the rice is sushi rice and you gotta fry the spam those two steps are easy as hell. Ojos-Sam’s indeed.
It's definitely expensive if you do it on a regular basis. If you do it once in a great while, sure. It's the same concept as ordering pizza and having it delivered. The delivery charge isn't a big deal because most people aren't getting pizza THAT often, but if you did it routinely, it would add up fast. I know there are some people who literally have ALL of their meals delivered and then they act shocked when they realize how many thousands of dollars they spent on delivery charges at the end of the year when they add it all up. If you're pulling down 6 figures, who cares, but for a middle-class person, it's very significant.
@ yep its indeed a lot. Even if i don’t care about delivery fee ,every order i buy is not just one or two thing in one order so its definitely add up a lot of cost for an lazy ass like me
Like a year ago, IRyS had never used a delivery app because it was a waste of money.
the fans are real spoilng her with that SC uber combini fund
Exactly. I can’t imagine having that kind of disposable income to throw away money on delivery for spam of all things

The sound of Bae dying inside.

Irys really took that from Hakos "I have a skincare fridge" Baelz 😂

Bae became Henya for a second there
10 minute walk?? Where in Tokyo does she live that needs a 10 minute walk to a konbini
Years ago when I went there maybe, idk now
must have something else factored into the time... time in elevator... traffic lights... not just the walk... lol
Her room most probably in the highest tower in some kind of castle, so yeah 10min to get to konbini seems plausible

Maybe if she only wanted a certain konbini, but if she didn’t mind any one, then it’d take like 5 minutes max.
Our Ojou-sama can't be bothered lol
I'm with Calli on this one. Store clerks have to deal with much worse than a girl in her pajamas and Crocs buying a bento.
