I don't know whether you know it, but Bosch has been making this machine since 1981! I bought my first one in the 80's and as I'm getting old, use it more than my bigger Bosch Universal. I particularly like doing one-loaf bread recipes with the dough hook. Many larger mixers have a problem doing small amounts. You're very lucky!

Thank you so much. Yes you are right, this mixer its perfect for small amount of flour. I bake a lot but not always in big amounts and this is very helpful.

Hi, how is the bread dough performance ? What ratio do you use and machine can works well with it

Hi there, I have made burger buns with the mixer and it was ok. Its a bit noisy and slow I would say, but that's if I compare it with my other Kitchen Aid mixer. If you are using small amount(I have used 800 gr of four) of flour then it's ok. You can check out my last video just to make an idea of what it can do. I really like the shape of the bowl as it really helps to mix well all the flour from the bottom of the bowl.

@@sizzlingwithsimina6550 actually I have kenwood kmix 750rd but I hated the dough performance of it. It can't knead it well even for %60 water dough

@@utkudenizaltiok860 I see,I know what you mean. I have a big Kitchen Aid 6.9l which I use whenever I have a lot of dough to make (everything over 1.5 kg of flour and it's very good, but not good at all if its 1kg or less unfortunately) but if you're not making too much in one go then I would recommend this mixer. Like I said in the video I personally won this mixer on a competition.... here in UK this mixer with all the attachments it costs around £270 if I'm not mistaken which I personally think that it's a bit too much.

It is a good mixer, and I really like the fact that you can do a variety of foods with it(my review video is coming up soon). However it's not powerful enough for my liking. But if this is your first mixer then it's a good buy. Unfortunately I tend to compare it with the other Kitchen Aid mixer I have.

@@sizzlingwithsimina6550 Hallo. But KitchenAid is only 300 W. Do you find it more powerful?

    • @sizzlingwithsimina6550

@@AlexLife307 way more powerful. The Kitchen Aid that I have it's 6.9 l, therfore I can mix 2 kg of flour at a time but I can't mix less that 1.5kg cause it won't mix at the bottom of it. Bosch MUM it's very good for everyday use. Even my 13 year old daughter loves it. She loves baking too 😋 ☺

@@sizzlingwithsimina6550 Thanks a lot for your review.
When you say it won't mix at the bottom, does that mean MUM is not fit for kneading bread less than 1.5kg? It's quite important for me because I plan to buy one, but I would only make bread up to 0.5kg, not more. Would this robot not being able to do the work for me?

If you use the third degree, it vibrates terribly a lot.

It depends on what are you doing, if you are doing dough then yes(you're supposed to do it slowly) but if you do sponge for example it doesn't.
