    I coudn't agree more with you. I like her method and ideas to make the feather texture, but the head is just not complete without the details.

    but swans have reasonably large beaks
    and black feathers around the eyes, why not use a little black sugar paste to make a proper head

      This one got it's face in a boat's propellor :)
      Gracefully, ofcourse. It was super elegant.
      Sorry, just kidding. The swan's beak was pretty stupid. I'm guessing she tried it before with a longer beak and it broke off.

    Can you make fondant feathers in advance??

      Yes you can but if they are going on a rounded surface make sure you dry them on something the same shape, like a dummy cake or polystyrene. Happy creating 🌻
