    Wow , the greens you blanched and turned into a salad are very popular here in Mozambique and are prepared very differently to ur method, we usually only turn into a stew. It's fascinating to see Europeans consuming a very popular green in my country.😊❤

      That’s so interesting!! Actually these types of greens are eaten mostly in Greece and I’m not sure about them eaten throughout Europe,so this is truly fascinating ♥️♥️ I had never thought of them in a stew as the standard way of eating them here are in a salad so I’m amazed too! Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge girl ♥️♥️♥️🥹

    Another beautiful video. I do miss the fruit and vegetables in Greece the taste is amazing. In Australia we have lot's and lot's of fruit and veg but unless they are over ripe all taste the same. Keep safe and well in the extreme heat and thank you for another great video.

    Oooohhh❣❣Spagetti with saltsa!! And cheese!!! How I miss mitzifra ( sorry, dont know how to spell it)! I am crazy for tomatoes actually but its rare that I eat a sauce from fresh tomatoes as the tomatoes we get here are not really for cooking, theyare imported and grown in green houses and not on free land with real sun. So its canned tomatoes over here! And vlita , wow, yes we dont have it here either unfortunately, tastes fantastic with oil and vinegar!! Thank you for sharing another beautiful day and meal with us!!

      A place where fresh tomatoes aren’t easily available is so difficult for me to grasp! But I think if you find good quality canned tomatoes and twist it into your flavours it will be equally delicious ♥️♥️🙂‍↕️ Thank you for your comment and support! It means so much to me seeing that you’re enjoying my videos 🥹♥️♥️♥️

    Fairly new to your channel and I love it. I see Greece in a way I never have before. I was wondering what happened to your orange cat. I saw some old episodes and he is there but in the newer ones I don't see him. Maybe you've talked about it already but since I'm new I missed it.

      Thank you so much! I’m so glad you’re here and enjoying my videos! 🥹♥️ Our sweet cat passed away in November suddenly and it’s been so hard for us since it was so sudden and unexpected. It’s also strange as today I have him on my mind all day and now you asked about him ♥️

    Every time you make tomato sauce I want to cook along with you ❤ The farmer's market looked so amazing, I always accidentally spend too much money when I go to the one near me. Stone fruit has also come into season in my city (peaches, apricots, cherries) and they are so sweet and delicious. Thank you for another amazing vlog as always, I've been having a rough time recently, so this came at the perfect time!! 💖💖

      Your comments always make me smile and give me strength to keep on making videos ♥️♥️ Stone fruits are my absolute favourite (you can see it in my nickname 😂🍒) and I can’t wait to eat as much as I can this summer! I’m really sorry you had a rough time and I hope that everything will get better! I’m really thankful that I could somehow help you ease your mind ♥️♥️♥️ Time heals everything my friend ♥️🫡

    I like how Mr. P twirls his fork when he likes a food. He did it when he tasted the pasta. Is this a Greek gesture or a Mr. P gesture?

    • @GreekCookingDiaries
      @GreekCookingDiaries  Месяц назад +1

      That’s a Greek gesture that means “wow” or “amazing” and you just do it with your hand,it’s difficult to explain in writing though 😆 It’s so common here that I hadn’t noticed it before 😅
