How do the leaves not despawn?
@@CSnake4Gaming idk
@@CSnake4Gaming but it woeks
Works
I finally finished it! I created a path 1,500 blocks from my base to the nearest ocean, built the entire farm including the leaves, and created an epic nether shortcut. I will always build any machines and farms that I don't have yet in my world that you upload from now on.
Why not just build a portal
@@Kingsteve-rk8eva nether portal? They said they did?
I love your builds man! You always have solid and reliable redstone builds for Bedrock. Thank you.
I have been following this guy for a long time now. Every farm I have contructed using his tutorials have been extremely effective. I cannot imagine us bedrock players without you! 😅 Seriously, thank you!
So true
Thank you for making this farm! Now I can make the mob farm using your tutorial!!
Thank you so much, this is awesome, I was struggling to get a trident but thanks to this farm, I have plenty 😁
Works amazing, 2 hours will give u like a shulker full. Tip: if you use an auto clicker, make sure you have a beacon healing you because I accidently starved to death from the hunger loss when you hit.
Another great build from my man
Thank you so much it help like it helped a lot that I got me like 10 tridents on a looting 3 sword and I appreciate it for that and I hope you get lots of subscribers from your fans ok ✅ 🎉
This farm is effective! Now I can make a trident killer so I can Afk this farm. I'm also planning to do an item sorter for rotten flesh, copper, nautilus and tridents. Thanks
Works well thanks! I build one directly underneath my sky mob farm! Perfect
It doesn't affect the sky mob farm? I wanted to combine this with my creeper farm but didn't want to mess up my creeper farm.
@@Studio215official I've got huge distance between farms I'm up at build limit, and have found an afk ground in the middle
Thank you so much infinite tridents let’s go!
Here before an hour thank you for these awesome tutorials
JC Playz. I love your videos. Thank you so much for all these designs. They have so damn helpful!! (Your newest Iron farm is my favorite) 1 Problem, tho. I really wish you built everything in survival instead of creative. So we all could actually see just how difficult it was to build.
very efficient. tried killing drowns was a pain in the arse. Spent about as much time building this farm (granted i had most the materials) Within 1 minute I had two tridents for different farms:)) thank you!!!
In two hours from building this farm going afk.. 7 tridents and counting. just from doing absolutely nothing!! this farm is 1000000% worth building as early as you can.
This is the project i was planning to start tomorrow xD
Great farm. Saves all the hassle of killing drowned for tridents 🔱
You make very good tutorials. Easy to follow as well. Thank you very much for your work.
Foe those having issues with them not soawning I found they would not spawn unless i was on the same level as them. Meaning I buildit a small plateform for me to stand on next to the stair blocks off to the side and then created a trident killer so they would die and i would still get the loot. Works great now.
I can finally start building it lol. I’m on survivor and was going to do a pillager farm finally found one roughly 2000 block away, built a rail system to it and am going to build the Drowned farm first in the vicinity. Just got all the resources for it which wasn’t hard and got it transported through mine carts lol
can you make a new ghast farm and blaze farm? my friend really wants one, but your older tutorials aren't working out very well for me.
I knew I didn’t need this but I came to say that anyone building this should for sure build it. I’ve been doing some research on trident enchantments for a gold farm and you can fast swim or even fly using it. Cause mobs to be hit by lightning and even fish without going back in the water to get it. (Fishing rod got boring) Lmao
hi this might be a stupid question but in a lot of diffrent totorials that are over water they allways say to go to the bottom and build up to the surface but is it needed? like if you built a path from the shore the the build point or if you used concerate powder at the starting point would you still need to go to the bottom of the water and buld up?
Works great even till today with all the new updates on bedrock only drowned spawns with good rates only bad thing I have to say is wow that is a lot of leaves
Awesome farm. Mine caps off at 5 dead so idk if i make it bigger maybe it will spawn more mobs
Doubt it’ll be seen but I’ve been on my friends server a few months now, and honestly your farm videos have been a huge life saver for me
Good one!
You could also build a zombie farm and drawn them with two waterlogged cobwebs.
Why? For copper?
I’ve done that and none of the newly drown zombies have ever had a trident
Drowned made by drowning zombies won’t drop tridents, only drowned spawned as drowned will drop tridents.
@@ammonoid13 I remember it used to work. Maybe some older version.
@@PrzemysawSechit used to work and they patched it out a few years ago
Can I build this near an ocean monument? It won't affect the spawn rates right?
Another great video by JC! Would this also work with a trident killer at the kill chamber and a sorting system from your gold farm? Thank you
Thank you for this! I am playing a Skyblock that is set in an Ocean Biome, so this will be very helpful. I have also needed one of these in my collection for a long time.
Is there one for not being in the ocean? I need copper farm in the industrial district
Can you stack this up with the same design as the first layer?
you are a king.
I think Drowned spawn at higher rates in river biomes than oceans, so that might improve rates. Of course adding a trident killer will automate the farm and adding a sorter will help manage storage.
Nice simple easy farms!
Edit: question, is the 15 block high leaf roof necessary? Can I just make the roof like 4 blocks up?
Tinted glass for a roof that can be any height you want, it blocks all light, just close it in fully. I like using it on drop kill farms it works good.
tinted glass actually works to keep sunlight out? this is new to me
Will you please make a video on an ender pearl stasis chamber. I'm currently working on one that teleports me from the bottom of the world to the top at the flick of a lever. It would be cool to see how you'd do it.
All you’d need for that is to build a redstone torch tower from the bottom of your world to the top. Next, place one block on any side of the top of your redstone torch tower (this will be so you can have one layer of solid blocks between your water/stasis chamber and the redstone torches so the water does not wash the redstone away) next, build 4 blocks down, on the side of your tower. Once you have build placed the 4th block down, you will need to place a soul sand on the side of that 4th block, keeping that block between your soul sand and redstone torches. Next, you will need to place solid blocks on the other three sides of the soul sand. Bold those 3 more blocks up. Now it should look like you have a small 3 block deep chamber build on the side of your tower. Fill that chamber with three buckets of water one layer at a time(this is so you will have 3 source blocks of water because soul sand will only push bubbles through source blocks of water rather than falling/flowing water) place a trap door over the top of the water chamber(this will be used to trigger the mechanism and activate the pearl) place a redstone dust connecting your trap door to the top of your redstone torch tower so the torch powers the trap door. Now placing/using a lever at the bottom will open or close the trap door(I recommend using a buttons instead of a leaver so it will close the trap door then automatically re-open it) now all that is left to do is throw your pearl straight down into your bubbling water. It will stay bouncing there until you press the button which will momentarily close the trap door, making the pearl collide with the trap door and teleporting you.
@@fireboarder12this won’t work for bedrock
U need a honey block on the side of the water bubble thingy
Ngl I’m making this since I need tridents for soooo many different Afk farms😂
Can i add another layer in this farm?
Does anybody know the max amount of time the drowns can stack up for? I want to let my Xbox sit but I don’t want the drowns to start despawning
can you use a large body of water instead of a ocean?
Bro you should also give tutorials for making mega farms in minecraft bedrock
Two questions: What is the purpose of building 100 blocks up? Would the farm work differently at 75, or 50 blocks up? Second, what is the purpose of building an infinite water source, since you end up taking it out?
How to make it more efficient like building another layer or so?
Can you use scaffolding for the first part instead of solid blocks/ladders?
Yes you can
For anyone wondering. You can hook up a trident killer/auto sorter for this farm.
How
@@philbelfrage you just have to switch the 1x1 drop hole to 2x2 a few blocks before the bottom, and then you can use the trident killer that he uses in his other videos. It takes a little bit of innovation but it’s not too complicated
@@firez5574 that’s what I figured but just wanted to make sure. Thanks, man.
This guy read minds
I would recommend adding a lightning rod just case something happens for the leaf roof
Could just turn off fire spread when afk on ur own world but yeah this is good advice
Does it have to be cobblestone or smooth stone or can it be wood
It can be any solid blocks that don’t burn some examples of solid blocks are smooth stone cobblestone diorite deep slate terracotta or bricks u can trade from mason villagers to get a lot of blocks easily a stone cutter will turn villager to mason u can purchase blocks from him for emeralds getting/having emeralds is gud enough having a raid farm will provide enough for u to buy a lot of blocks :). Or u could make a fletcher villager from fletching table and get sticks from wood and trade sticks for emeralds then trade emeralds for blocks :). Yes. Any solid blocks said above will be good u can choose what u like. :)
Does this work in java bc I didnt read the title properly and made it on java ;-;;;
How is this exactly like the creeper farm but it spawns a different mob?
I wonder if this can be made with a trident killer at the bottom? I've made a zombie spawner that converts the zombies into drown but it's really ineffective and yields zero tridents. I'll be back in a few hours with an answer.
Edit:
It works very well with a trident killer, I made the shoot a 2x2 and used trap doors and signs too stop water.
Converted zombies will never drop tridents, thats why you had zero luck
Bedrock 1.20 - any particular reason why they just wont spawn at all even at night?? Im over 50 blocks away from any major land, and the entire platform is in cold ocean biome as confirmed by chunkbase.
The only farm that begets another farm Trident farm is just needed for the giant guardian farm
So after I built it, I had 40 drowned spawn in 1 full day and 1 full night. Which I got 1 trident. Does that sound about right for this farm? I’m on hard and 4 chunk load
Thats not correct. Try changing the blocks at the top of the drop chute to stairs. Drowned will often refuse to walk off the top, but they dont do that with stairs
Hey JC. I have a problem regarding the Pillager farm. The Pillagers glitch out of the upper trident killer, any suggestion on how to fix this issue?
I had a similar issue you have a spot where they can spawn from be sure to put half slabs or leaves over everything double check all your areas even chest
@@andrewpowell6065 They spawn on the leaves which makes no sense and I checked every spot and there is no issue.
Replace leaves with half slabs and see what happens there but nonetheless maybe a bug
@@andrewpowell6065 Tried that already made the wall 1 block thicker too but the same thing happens.
Same issue I made a bubble colume to kill the pop outs. Main issue now are the fn vex.
I am too lazy to do this. But i will try
Does it work without an ocean?
Does it work in land?
Can I enclose the spawn area instead of using a leaf roof?
no, using a solid roof of slabs doesn’t even work
Drowned are a Surface Spawn, even though they are underwater.
Ehat if I make the roof the same radius as the platform? Will it still work in day?
It wont work because light has a 6 block radius. You need the extra leaves to block light from the entire farm
@@yummymummy1981 Thx for this info 💙
@@yummymummy1981does it have to be leaves
@@aliciamiller2148yes, drowned are surface spawns and wont spawn under solid blocks. Also if you play with fire spread on (or fire tick on) you will need to cover the leaves with string, because if lightning hits the leaves the entire thing will burn (you can turn fire spread off in the settings without affecting achievements though)
Could you use slabs instead of leaves? because im gonna lose a ton of iron trying to shear leaves
Build an iron farm so you never run out. Duh
@@2.GendersOnly i either fuck up the farm build or just have an iron shortage in my caves
On a realm where copper does not spawn underground so ima use this to get loads for my builds
how are the things I need?
To anyone who’s built this already, is it any good/ is it worth it? tbh it does look like it would be very efficient
no it isnt efficient
I used it for 15 minutes and got 5 tridents with an unenchanted sword.
The only change I made was putting stairs at the top of the drop chute instead of blocks (the drowned ai will make them refuse to walk off the edge of the blocks but dont do that with stairs)
Can i make this more wide
Can you add a trident killer at the bottom?
I was wondering the same thing...pretty sure you can
He have an another video of that
does this farm work for java
Does stained glass placed on top roof work for the farm?
It still work on new version?
Is the spawn layer stackable?
Yeah but it’s not like a creeper farm. It’s more like an enderman farm meaning only a certain amount spawn per few chunks so doing layers would just spread out the mobs not increase the amount. So it would effectively do nothing
Can slabs be used instead of the leaves?
You can't, drowned won't spawn if you use a slab, so you have to use leaves as a roof
Slabs wont block the light, and you cant use solid blocks because drowned are surface spawns and wont spawn under solid blocks
Anyone know why my trident farm suddenly stopped working. It gave me two tridents (took forever), I put them tonuse, and then the farm stopped.
The only change I made was later adding 3 block wall around the top and a roof so they would spawn during the day. But nadda. Even on Hardcore mode.
I went back and removed half of the ceiling from the center and they still refuse to spawn. I'm playing version 1.20.51 on the Xbox Series X. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Use slabs for the roof or leaves.
@williamparsons8609 I tried that. Didn't work. Even squids stopped spawning. I remove part of the roof and they all started spawning again. It's weird.
@@sespider that is weird… I honestly don’t know.

@Chris-zy5ul bullshit, most pork chops out there don't even put if it works in java or bedrock in the description or the video. sorry he doesn't have over the top voice-over for the simps.
🎉
For anyone wondering, you can build this farm by using netherrack
I play on Bedrock and connect to a server that accepts both Bedrock and Java users on Minecraft Paper.
Is it not possible to build this farm on the server? It has been several hours with 0 spawns and I am dreading taking down this build after spending 4 hours to complete it
You play on what?
Getting real zombies as well, did I build too close to land? My initial blocks were 60 away from land but I’m guessing that because the farm is so large that at the top of it it’s closer than 50 away I’m getting regular zombies? Not sure it’s worth rebuilding.
You can also mine leaves with hoe with silk touch
doesnt work for me .. any idea why ? im at a warm ocean .. could that b a reason ?
First, check in normal survival by standing at the middle of the ocean that drowns are spawning around you or not. Pick the location where they are spawning;)
Can i use any blocks other than smooth stone
yes
@@RandomFunnyStuff4You thank you
The leaves won't decay?
Player placed Leaf Blocks do not decay.
@d4r4butler74 ah... I've played for a decade and somehow I forgot that
Farm isn't working for me :( Anyone know how to fix it?
I tried building one with a leaf roof and nothing spawned after 3 days of waiting (in an ocean biome)
went to a new location and built another one far away from land and other structures in a deep ocean biome and used walls and slabs to create a roof, waited for 3 days again and nothing spawned
I've tried changing my simulation distance and render distance down and up and nothing happens. Any help?
Are you in an ocean biome?
Kill off some passive mobs. I had bred a bunch of sheep and cows, and it prevented anything else from spawning except Iron golem lol
Change the blocks at the top of the drop chite to stairs.
I think it doesn’t work if you use cobbled deep slate 😢
When I was putting the water in my power cut and my world got corrupted 😢
Can't you just make a roof instead of the leaf platform?
Leaves made any mob can't spawn on it, you can change the slab to if you want another option.
So I needed a trident to build the gold piglen farm, I row out to sea to get ready to build this farm and get attacked by a drowned mob with a trident, I killed it and got a trident. Guess into the gold farm now😂
Why didn’t you use a Trident killing chamber for this one??
because of the looting effect
WORKING IN 1.21
Can you put a trident killer at the bottom to make it fully automatic?
yes just make sure that your trident has impaling IV or V to kill them faster
this seems to only work in bedrock, wont spawn anything for me :(
How do the leaves not despawn?
Because they are placed manually
I build a trident farm because im bored
They are spawning so slow why?(I think because I did it at the river right?)
Probably
Someone help me i built this farm but it doesnt work. I tried everything but nothing happened 😢
Try setting your world simulation distance to 4 chunks.

Why does the roof have to be leaves?
So nothing spawns on them
Greetings Fleshy Mammals.

It doesnt work for me, I followed the tutorial perfectly, does the spawner need to be in a regular ocean or should it work in a cold ocean?
They don’t spawn like crazy you’re gonna have to keep killing them over and over unless you use a trident killer.
its not about tridents, no drowned were spawning at all@@chroa2507
