On Chicago's south side, an average day finds kids prepping for school as their parents head off to work, young adults trying to make a living, and the elders keeping an eye on things from their front porches. But in this tough neighborhood, real dangers threaten daily to squelch dreams, and the simplest decisions can have life or death consequences. The Chi is a timely coming-of-age drama series centered on a group of residents who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption. I love how their friendship was real bacc then. Papa was goofy and kept the friendship tight. Jake called shots. When he say lets go its time to go. But even when u think Jake is the gangsta because of his family line. He tries to stay away from it. Kev is the real gangsta if no one realized. This boy shot a man, punched his teacher in the face, and didnt bow when he had a gun to his head. Kev is like Dom from fast N Furious. All that matters more than his life are the people he see as family

Even though I think the show is still good, I honestly think the first 3 seasons are the best. The show just ain’t the same without Kev. I hope he comes back before the show ends.
