You alerted us that the gs heads weren't symmetrical so would have thought the inconsistency of the different font size on both dials would be a head wrecker 😅
Great video - I followed your instructions to the letter and the job went really well. Very pleased with the result on my T120. I paid the 96 Euro and also the import tax was about £26 so not a cheap mod but very pleased with the outcome.
Thanks, tail itty just waiting to go on next, but very busy editing. Make sure you check that you don't leave the indicators on, as in sunlight not too easy to see in the dash....😂
@@gsd32i Thanks, I blanked the daylight running light which is a bonus - the kit is very nice quality but your instructions should be mandatory watching prior to fitment, made life so much easier.
OMG This is the most stressful thing I've seen in months, I was holding my breath when you were popping off the needles 🙈 Looks so much better with the new background. Triumph are not good at designing 'clocks'!
Hi I bought a damaged 2023 Triumph Speed Twin where the bezels and top plate were damaged. Unable to find a replacement I made my own CNC milled from aluminium plate I had to also remove the damaged Perspex lenses and replace with my own new ones to the original lens bracket using a trepaning tool to cut the old perspex lenses. I have seen that some lenses have cracked this was probably because the bike has been let out in the sun for too long or sudden changes in temperature. I have some of the replacement plate bezel units which can be polished or anodized to any colour.
Hi Kevin, gotta say I can't remember as it came off in one unit. Not sure if you can get just the top section which contains the glass. Rather expensive at £800 for a new unit1 Gulp!!!
Hi Kevin I have replaced the Perspex Lenses but it's not a simple job. I took it as a challenge to my can do attitude when I was told no bezel or top plates were available. You need a lot of patience to strip them apart as you need to heat up and remove the Triumph logo to get to a small screw then you need to pry off the Aluminium plate and SS bezels. You will also need a small milling machine to trepan the old cracked lens out
Totally agree, massive improvement. Originals look like some sort of homage to a 1980's midi hifi system. Triumph need to learn from this.
😂indeed they do 👍
Clocks definitely look better and nice GSD

😂currently on medication for that 😂
One courageous man!! Beautifully executed job, very informative. The new dials look much better IMO. Thanks for uploading!
Glad you like them!
Great upgrade good to watch your proceedure
Thanks 👍

Great explanation video, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I’d love less fussy faces on mine but these ‘d trip my OCD.
There’s 11, sometimes 12 marks in between the 10,20,30mph numbers
😂 Iam a bit like that but these are way better looking than the OEM stuff. Just take a few deep breaths 😁
Nice but a shame the numbers are not the same size on each dial.
I can live with that 😂
Did you happen to notice if it's possible to change the glass while it was off? Cos I've managed to crack one of mine.

That's is an good upgrade
Those clock faces look much nicer. The OEM clock faces look far too busy.
Had them on for a little while now and I think they are way better than the OEM's.
