conan263 kojima didnt fail us. konami failed us. if only kojima had full control of the development we would of had one last full game. honestly i think kojima wanted to leave konami after the development of this but because he was limited the game wasnt complete so in a sense kojimas last wish was cut short.

I absolutely freakin loved MGS after that. this series is so good with such a long story. I think this is the only game that follows one story. hideo kojima is such a great story writer. long live MGS series. too fucking bad Konami fired kojima.

There's good mainstream music. It's just harder to find than it used to be. My biggest problem with most modern music is that it's all so shallow and mean spirited. It's all " party, make fat stacks, fuck dat ho, get high and let my pants sag while acting like I know something about life when I don't know shit. Well it seems I have some repressed anger there.

He was actually followed by the soliders since his philosophy of Outer Heaven was based on them

This is my first metal gear solid game I have ever played when i heard apart of this song during my first play through I was determined to unlock the full version and when I did my heart was whole once again during the mean time a piece of my heart was missing it gave me an idea of what phantom pain was like I felt snakes and big bosses pain and everyone else that lost a limb or two

This game was my first entry into MGS lore. Boy! I was blown away by the gameplay mechanics, details and cinematics. This game is the boss of all AAA games.

Metal Gear Solid V was such a strong game. That and Witcher 3 are my two favorite games from 2015. Witcher 3 being like a tad bit better for me because..... idk why really. Probably because the world cohesion. It's honestly just different styles. MGSV was a great game even by MGS standards. Think my favorite part is it isn't cohesive. It's just like a do what you want and replay awesome parts at your leisure. Can't tell you how much times I'd play MGS just to see grey fox. I saved right before the scene of him slaughtering the heavy assault unit in twin snakes just so I could watch it when I wanted to.
The Witcher 3 is best mgsv?? Leave the drugs..
Both MGS 5 and TW3 are excellent open world games. But they share the same main weakness in my opinion. They both make you play as an over-powered protagonist.
Geralt has a Quen shield that basically makes him immune to all kinds of damage so long as you space out the aciton. An Axi spell that lets you one time all humans. An absurdly abundant amount of potions that make him way too OP for his own good and sword from a lake that keeps increasing in attack power the more you use it. Not even mentioning all of the murations you get in Blood and Wine
Snake is rediculously OP in PP. He sprints rediculously fast and has unlimited sprinting endurance. He can take a rediculous amount of gun fire and recover so long as he has about a 5 second breather. He can spot and mark out soldiers from hundreds of yards away and even see them through walls once they are marked. He has a female buddy who can clear out an entire base full of soldiers as long as she has a silenced sniper rifle. He has a bionic arm that is so OP I cant even be bothered to explain it all. And to top it all off, as long as you lay prone, you are pretty much invisible to anyone so long as they are no closer than 20 meters. For God sakes he just needs to lean over his horse for the sentries to not see him. Rediculous...
I really hoped they give us the final version to this magnificent masterpiece
Moral of the story, None of us know who we really are but once you discover your true purpose in life you either embrace it or fold over.
Even with all the problems I have a lot of fun playing the last Metal gear.
It's not the best, we all know that, but damn, I love it anyway.
