Also, Fearless is the song that follows Fear. There's no mv but there's a live performance. It's fantastic.
The MV also shows each members Fear-like Seungkwan with the mirror,like people judging his visuals.Dino being overshadowed by 12 members depected him in front of 12 mics,Jeonghan being generalized as feminine,Woozi carrying the other members depicted on his solo dance dragging the 12 members in the background.,.....their next song Fearless is like them saying that they're now facing all their fears.I suggest you also check their dance practice for each MV.

For me Fear is saying: I'm afraid of myself, I know I'm not good for you, you should let me go before I taint you as well, but I don't have it in me to let you go even though I know I should but this is the way I am, the way I love you. It's like saying you should let me go but please don't let me go, at the same time.
I do think it uses the vampire trope as well as the Fifty Shades of Grey to get this message across.
That's the general message I get from the lyrics. Pretty dark, yes. Visuals are insane with this one.
Before watch this ep I'll comment something. I love dance performance of 'Fear' very very much and Wonwoo's part has something.
As someone mentioned below, Woozi wrote "Fearless" in response to "Fear" and as a follow-up. It doesn't get the attention I think it deserves, because it's amazing! It's true...there is no official MV; however, if you'll look up the live performance that includes both "Fearless" and "Left and Right", you'll see the best version of the live performance. If you watch closely, you'll see both Wonwoo and Jeonghan repeat dance moves and even melody lines from "Fear"; so the two songs are definitely interlocked. Please respond to it as well if you can.

@@KPopOnLock To make it easier for you, here are the 3 videos I suggest you react to...all three at the same time. Why? 1) The official MV is just that, but you can't see the killer choreo as well; 2) the dance practice video lets you see just how difficult the choreo actually is, and how perfectly in sync they are as always; and 3) the live performance is breathtaking! You get to see the massive production put on during a concert, and you get to feel the excitement of the fans as they scream. If you ask me, your reaction most definitely should include all 3 videos in order to get the full impact of the song. One of my FAVORITE Seventeen songs!
