Seventeen are really moving onto the global stage - earlier this week they were appointed as the very first UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Youth - super proud of them!
I am so so so proud of them. Sometimes I see them having these great achievements, fulfilling so many of their dreams and I flashback to their green basement days, even though I wasn't even a carat that time but it really hits you in the feels.

Tbh they just spent their day off in UK, not partying away which they completely deserve btw, but by visiting the Harry Potter world because dk is a potterhead and by law you are not allowed to say no to dk. So i think it's really safe to say that they are honestly the safest happiest cleanest idols out there😂
Also they spent last night after their Glastonbury performance, in a piano bar, drunk out of their minds belting out Adele and Bruno Mars infront of locals who had no idea who they were😂😂
Their speech was really nice, very much about the cause and showing how they try to help. Don’t know if you saw but they just were in Paris bc the were named goodwill ambassador for unesco and pledged 1M $ with their campaign „going together“ that has been going on since 2022 and aims to provide education for children in countries where there haven’t been the best possibilities.

Wonwoo sais once that he doesnt wear contacts bc he has dry eyes and contacts feels umconfortable to wear. So he rather not see than go through the trouble...

4:13 Wonwoo does wear glasses sometimes during performance. he did in the last legs of Follow Tour. also he doesn't wear contact lenses because he has dry eye syndrome. wearing contacts for hours irritates his eyes but also his coping mechanism so he doesn't get nervous lol
They are just so genuine and they actually love what they are doing and it translates on stage. Their smiles while performing and talking to the audience are everything. They also did their speech there and they were also with UNESCO in Paris just a few days ago and this time they are complete. Scoups is with them. All 13 of them. After Paris they went Glastonbury Music Festival to perform. It’s also an amazing 1 hour performance. Its full packed with songs after songs also included unit songs. You’ll enjoy it for sure.
Several members did a speech before the performance and were invited bc they been donating yearly to UNESCO (and other NGO's but in their speeches they did talked more in depth of since when thye been doing it, since theie debut) for several times evey anniversary of SVT and even part of their earnings of the Be The Sun World Tour was donated to their campaign with them #GoingTogether
They were recently invited again as their were named 2 days ago as the first-ever Goodwill Ambassador for Youth

I saw their Glastonbury performance online. They clearly understood the assignment. Someone (i assume Woozi/Bumzu) rearranged the music to make it more rock heavy and they sang songs with English in them. Crappy time slot but the crowd there was definitely vibing. Apparently they did drunk Karaoke last night with people in a pub. I love it.
I never saw The8 and Jun hyping up the audience like they did yesterday. It was cute.

I'm glad you mentioned joshua's vocals...people tend to overlook his vocals but he's got a pretty voice and his range is also pretty good. His vocals in SOS is one of his best for me❤

They were appointed as the very first UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Youth! That is cool. Have u not heard. I actually think BTS are the 1st rep for South Korea and SVT is the 2nd.
