EU Rules
1. No fee, totally free when you apply.
2. You dont need to go back or leave Sweden to wait or get decision.
3. You can apply for PN (personnummer) even without decision on your Residence card application.
4. You can book for biometrics right away.
5. It is not strong as Residence permit card as proof of identification.
Swedish Rules
1. There is fee. 2000 sek for adult, 1000 sek for child.
2. You need to leave Sweden to wait or get your decision.
3. You cannot apply inside Sweden (case to case basis).
4. You need to have your decision first before you can book for biometrics.
5. You cannot apply for PN without Residence Permit card.
6. Strong proof of identification.

hello po - for EU rules, need parin po na i-submit yung house / appartment contract, applying Personnummer need din po ng approved residence card, yun po na experience ko.

Hindi kmi hiningan ng apartment contract, work contract lng ni hubby saka proof of cohabitation. Sa personnummer po nakapag apply din aq ng wala pa residence card, pinakita ko lang reciept of application for Residence card. ☺️ Yung mga friends ko na EU din partner hindi din sila hinanapan ng RC nung nag apply ng personummer, pero yung iba saka na approved yung PN po nung sinubmit nila yung RC.

August na reg kmi sa skatteverket nov dumating c RC. March kmi dumating now questionable yung registration nmin sa försakring bkit daw August lang at hindi March. Sinabi ko po na late na namin nalaman na pwede pala mag apply ng PN without Residence card. Kya best to apply PN right away pag dating p lng ng Sweden kung EU ang partner otherwise magkaron ng problem sa claims lalo n kung may anak po.
