You saw what Rebecca & Bill picked, but which was your favorite? And what should Bill bring us next? Let us know!
I'll say the second one that looks like a blueberry slushie. After watching the live stream yesterday I went to the Jedora site and explored using the filters. Faceted tanzanite starting in the single digits! On the other end of the price range, rubies and sapphires that would fit in a royal collection. The volume of inventory is staggering.
Rebecca’s choice is my favorite as well. I saw a pendant at the Bluegrass Gem and Mineral Show last year that had that quartz/druzy formation. I wish I had bought it.
:( Anyone else get sad when he said that probably most of the mineral specimens get destroyed for the copper mining operation? My heart broke a smidge. Such a beautiful specimen, that one is!
One easy way to remember: stalaCtites have "c" for "ceiling," stalaGmites have a "g" for "ground" 😁
"It just makes you feel good to look at it." YES. That's exactly how I feel about this stone. It is one of my top faves. I just can't get enough of that tealy blue.
Bill picking his favorite bc if he could become miniature, it would be a cool cave to be in is so relatable. I saw a lot of things that way as a kid and I love that there’s minerals keep the child alive in him! Cool perspective!!
When I was a kid we went on a tour in a local cave. About 20 years later I went as an adult and realized it wasn't nearly as big as I had remembered 😂 But I still have a small garnet that I collected there; it's low quality but it still means a lot to me for the memories
Cutest guest ever! Bill please keep bringing things that make you happy. Your happiness is contagious. Also, shout out to Chrysocolla, the cyan/emerald stone of my dreams.
That colour is just soooooo beautiful. The range of blue to green hues, there is something so primally soothing about them. Gorgeous specimens. I am definitely going to get a specimen for my collection.
Thank Rebecca & Bill, those Chrysocolla specimens are spectacular.
Thank you both. I love the blue kyanite. It makes me happy. Thank you Bill for sharing your happy mineral.
The joy on his face!
I love the first Chrysocolla specimen! That colour of Caribbean blue is beautiful..
I agree with Bill buy/collect what brings you joy. Chrysocolla brings me joy.
Chrysocolla is an amazing mineral. Really enjoyed this episode. It's always great when Bill drops in for a visit. Thanks for posting!
Wow, I love Bill and the joy and love he has for these stones! It warms my heart 💕💕
These specimens are truly stunning!! I can’t wait to add some to my collection!!!
Thanks, Bill!!!
I have a rockhounding spot for this around some old copper mines in MT. Near. Very fun to find some. None quite amazing like the pieces you have shown here. Cool video
I like me some chrys. Thanks Bill for sharing.
I'm in love with this colour! 😍❤️ It's beautiful!
These would make good livestream material. Love the different colors and shapes.
Bring that happiness again
Chrysocolla‘s colour reminds me of aquamarine. Beautiful. I too like Bill am crazy for Moldavite, it has a happy hold on me that I have yet to understand.
Gorgeous blue green. An aide memoir for Bill: stalacite has a C for ceiling; stalagtite has a G for ground.
Always lovely to see Bill again :)
2:27 can confirm. Always invest in your talismans.
Chrysocolla is my Shaman stone given by my mentor... It's beautiful and has amazing qualities!
Nice people. I just like the vibe here, kids.
Love this video ! Thank you. I have a Chrysoprase ring. It's fantastic !
Such an amazing color and these specimens have all the best that chrysocolla has to offer. The beautiful rich and vibrant colors to the soft muted colors in the others in the other. It just has it all and these specimens especially. Amazing!
Very beautiful pieces.
Thank you so much for bringing these. I love love love all of these specimens. And I joined the FB group! 🥰
Beautiful Gemstones 🎶 X..
It drew me into owning a claim on it in Nevada; rarely Globe grade tho, but raarely YAHOO! Chrysophrase is also know as Gem silica when chrysocolla colored. Chips can go for 20 a gram in drusy, 200 set.
Love Bill!!
I have some grape agate thats really bubbly and is so purple it's beautiful
Wow this is what I'm waiting for. Some people called it as "The Blue Jade" in Indonesia we called it "Batu Bacan" (Rock from Bacan Island). In America you can found it used by Indian chief Headgear, oh yes Chrysocolla is A NOBLE STONE.❤
Oh i like this one to.Looking great...and you to :)
I need some of this in my collection!
If you guys haven’t yet, can you guys do a video about selenite?
such a beautiful mineral!!!!!
also! i love watching your videos they're all so amazing!!!!!
Thank you so much!!
How about pulling out selections of specimens that were used for the SGR, like the garnet in graphite schist. So many are on display around the JTV campus and deserve a 360° showing to the You Tube family.
OMG the color is so mesmerizing ❤
I’m with you….chrysocolla is easy to love!
I love this chrusocola👍👍👍but not likely cocacola bro😆😆😆👍
In fact I would love to be a guest and bring my specimen with some more details for arrangements .
I've got a specimen I think your guest, Bill, would love. Approximately a 10 inch geode with a nail head formation. It's not blue, but an amazing "cave". Also, some blue and red botryoidal stalagtite formation specimens. HMU. ;)
oh my lord they're so pretty
We just had the very small Hobart Gem & Mineral Show & I purchased a piece, but it’s no where near as cute as the pieces shown. I started buying crystals for meditation but I also just love them.
Very good
can you guys please do an episode about Septarian " Dragon Stone" please.
We'll look into it! In the meantime, check out the Septarian "Dragon Egg" in this one: ruclips.net/video/M9klHp03ATI/видео.html
Mega Sena 😊
One of the big things missing in these videos is some exact pricing- I know that’s hard to do but because it’s time sensitive and its just difficult all around but just giving us a range like 100’s to thousands tells me nothing and it would help greatly if you could say- for example, you might look to spend around blah for a piece like this because blah blah. Then when we go to look we at least have an idea. Thanks.
Chrysoprase is a green nickel bearing silica. Your copper bearing chrysocolla is not covered in chrysoprase.
Correct. I expected them to call the coating Gem Silica - which is high Qtz / low Chrysocolla.
Me pueden ayudar con la piedra azul que yo tengo por favor nesecito saber que precio tiene
what a sweet man!
Bacan !
Chrysocolla in chalcedony
what about copper sulphat crystal..
Hola yo tengo una chrycicolla
I think all of us are natural collectors. Accumulators. Squirrels. Hoarders. Whatever.
Is this a crystalline structure or an amorphous structure?
Chrysocolla is microcrystalline…meaning that the crystals in it are not readily visible to the naked eye but can be seen with magnification.
batu bacan?
Kind Lady , may I have your ATTENTION please ! I respect your knowledge and passion . I have a jadeite specimen to marvel at . I would love to have it reviewed and even more so a good respectful home as it is quite large (150+ lbs) . I am a rockhound that has a knack finding gems , Any how the provenance as well as high high quality is in my opinion museum quality . I wish to have a knowledge base before I trust it in possession of a university or museum . Could you PLEASE give me some attention and a contact that allows me to share image's ?? Please heed this as highly unique in opportunity to have this in your collection . Help me find a HOME please ! Thanks in advance
Korey
