    You saw what Rebecca & Bill picked, but which was your favorite? And what should Bill bring us next? Let us know!

      I'll say the second one that looks like a blueberry slushie. After watching the live stream yesterday I went to the Jedora site and explored using the filters. Faceted tanzanite starting in the single digits! On the other end of the price range, rubies and sapphires that would fit in a royal collection. The volume of inventory is staggering.

      Rebecca’s choice is my favorite as well. I saw a pendant at the Bluegrass Gem and Mineral Show last year that had that quartz/druzy formation. I wish I had bought it.

    :( Anyone else get sad when he said that probably most of the mineral specimens get destroyed for the copper mining operation? My heart broke a smidge. Such a beautiful specimen, that one is!

    Bill picking his favorite bc if he could become miniature, it would be a cool cave to be in is so relatable. I saw a lot of things that way as a kid and I love that there’s minerals keep the child alive in him! Cool perspective!!

      When I was a kid we went on a tour in a local cave. About 20 years later I went as an adult and realized it wasn't nearly as big as I had remembered 😂 But I still have a small garnet that I collected there; it's low quality but it still means a lot to me for the memories

    One of the big things missing in these videos is some exact pricing- I know that’s hard to do but because it’s time sensitive and its just difficult all around but just giving us a range like 100’s to thousands tells me nothing and it would help greatly if you could say- for example, you might look to spend around blah for a piece like this because blah blah. Then when we go to look we at least have an idea. Thanks.

    Chrysoprase is a green nickel bearing silica. Your copper bearing chrysocolla is not covered in chrysoprase.

    • @chrisywalker1649
      @chrisywalker1649 11 месяцев назад

      Correct. I expected them to call the coating Gem Silica - which is high Qtz / low Chrysocolla.

    • @gems

      Chrysocolla is microcrystalline…meaning that the crystals in it are not readily visible to the naked eye but can be seen with magnification.

    Kind Lady , may I have your ATTENTION please ! I respect your knowledge and passion . I have a jadeite specimen to marvel at . I would love to have it reviewed and even more so a good respectful home as it is quite large (150+ lbs) . I am a rockhound that has a knack finding gems , Any how the provenance as well as high high quality is in my opinion museum quality . I wish to have a knowledge base before I trust it in possession of a university or museum . Could you PLEASE give me some attention and a contact that allows me to share image's ?? Please heed this as highly unique in opportunity to have this in your collection . Help me find a HOME please ! Thanks in advance
