I first fell in love with dusty when I saw here sing some of her hits on the Dick Clark show, when she came out so beautifully dressed with long gloves on and she was so absolutely stunning and gorgeous, and then that VOICE! Oh My God! She stole my heart and later I heard her sing many more songs, and she really could sing anything beautifully, sexy and sultry. I miss her dearly and I regret to say that this is the first time I've heard the Memphis album and I agree that Tapestry and memphis are the best female albums ever recorded.Dusty was one of a kind and who cares if she was a lesbian, which I didn't know until today, she really was the epitome of blue eyed soul singers, and she has been terribly overlooked when discussing female singers and her beauty stands out like a beacon of light and her husky, =soulful voice puts her in a class of her own. Thank God for her.
Only dusty could get away with making a recording of this track and make it at least as good as the original bread version if not better because it's a woman singing it too me!
Dusty being Dusty........absolutely untouchable!! The base line is an inspiration. Very Carol Kaye😀😀
Every note, every phrase, every whisper. Dusty Springfield -- immortal.
A wonderful rendition of the classic "Bread" song.
Dusty my favourite singer of all time

so beautiful...
DUSTY ADDS THE BUTTER TO THE BREAD TUNE! ....////
More like the honey!!
Beautiful version!
I wouldn't have thought I would prefer this to David Gates's version, oh but I do! That's saying something.
Sheer perfection.
Too bad this album was never released. Dusty covers every song better than the originals.
Her singing voice seemed a flute indeed here, arrangements were(and they are)lovely, especially strings and percussion
This is definitely daily bread!
I love it!!!!!❤
Sublime
Oh my!

In my opinion, every song that Dusty covered, she “Dustified” and made it her own, somehow!!
@@timwinters2343 Absolutely. Well said.
