I'm 24, oily, combination. Just wanted to share my experience with the rejuv sets I've used before = Mica Skin, Prestige (2x) in the last 2 years. Hindi ako acne prone before and i only wanted to get rid of my acne marks. Naentice lang din ako sa kaofficemate ko na super haggard naman pero after ilang days/weeks naging super glowing BIGLA. She recommended me to try rejuv dahil nakakawala daw yun ng dark marks. Back then, hindi ko alam kung ano ang mga rejuv sets and i didn't do any research. I only relied on the reviews ng mga tao. And yung naging resulta sa friend ko.
PROS:
- Yes, naglighten (kahit papano) yung dark marks
- Mabilis magdry ng pimple
- Evident na iba talaga yung glow unlike before. Napupuri ako ng tao (which felt good, AT THE TIME)
CONS:
- INTENSE PEELING to the point na nakakadiri.
- After the kojic soap, SOBRANG DRYING ng feeling sa face.
- SOBRANG HAPDI ng toner as in nakakaiyak na levels hahaha
Do i recommend it? Definitely NO.
Not knowing na sobrang daming active ingredients ng lahat ng products. I stopped using it nung nasatisfy na ako sa results. Pero when I stopped using it dun na ako nagka-break out, tapos ako naman to si walang alam sa skin care, inulit ko pa siya bes 2x in the next few months para di na ako magkapimple.
Until grabe na yung mga nangyari sa face ko. My face became SUPER SENSITIVE. And parang numipis siya unlike before. Nasira talaga ang skin barrier ko. I had cystic acnes, & also inflamed acnes na walang pus, & matigas lang siya pag hinawakan. Nagkapimple na ako even sa cheek areas, neck area. Until I decided na magpacheck up sa derma, & until now I am still treating my face kasi sobrang dami niya bez. Kaya please resort to other skin care nalang instead of this. At least it happened to me para maiwasan na rin ng iba. Di siya dahil hindi ako hiyang, or walang maintenance. It's really not recommended sa dami ng ingredients. It's so much better na mag-regular skin care routine, at least in the long run maganda ang resulta unlike sa mabilisan, na maganda nga ang result pero short period lang naman, and you'll suffer the consequences pa. Your choice :)

I hope sana maging okay na skin mo. 🙏🏻 Ako din dati ganyan, i feel you. Pero tama yang ginawa mo nagconsult ka na sa derma. Kahit matagal yung healing process, pero yun naman yung tamang way of healing our skin. And also tulad nung isa sa mga vlog ni sir jan angelo about diet i think nakahelp sakin yun. Healthy diet and stay away from sugars. Lalo na ang white sugar. Goodbye milktea muna, coffee din, cake, doughnut, kaiyak kasi mga fave ko yun. In my case i also eliminate milk. More on vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish. And vitamin C supplements. Tas proper skincare. (thanks sir angelo sa mga recommendations) After a month I noticed nabawasan ang breakouts ko talaga. And mas nafeel ko healthier skin ko. Btw oily skin ako. Nagkakabreakouts parin ako pero minimal na lang and by proper skincare and proper diet, maganda naman ang healing nila and mabilis nadin.
Same experience! But im glad now na okay na kahit pano skin ko. Pero ang tagal bago maging okay lol. almost 9 mos saka ko nakita ko effect ng mga mild prods na nagamit ko and never na ko gagamit ng rejuv!

Same effect for me I’ve been using rejuv sets and yes super glowing skin ako and then after i used this rejuv set I’m now experiencing cystic acnes na walang pus like bumbs lang sya huehue so now i started my new mild skin care routine. Hope this workss.

Things I find problematic with rejuv sets:
1. The presence of fragrance and drying alcohol along with tretinoine and hydroquinone which already causes sensitivity in order to do their job in our skin.
2. The AM creams that is only in small container, knowing the recommended amount of sun protection need, that is not enough.
3. The peeling is caused by the over exfoliation and purging (according to Cassandra Bankson, peeling and pimples are both purging) due to the actives specifically tretinoine.
4. They are promoting instant miracle results that leads to hype and many users who got hyped end up messing their skin without proper understanding on how the ingredients work...
5. For those sensitive skin people, AVOID USING THOSE.

Using rejuvenating set is one of the biggest mistake I ever did on my skin. But, when I discover this channel of kuya jan i'm so thankful kasi my skin is getting back to normal and my skin elasticity is now better. i was using a rejuvinating set before and my biggest mistake was not reading about the ingredients, it has hydroquinone and i was not using sunscreen religiously that i developed sunspots on my cheeks which until now, years after, im still trying to lighten up. i learned my lesson the hard way.
it’s a work in progress but now that i’m more educated about a lot of things in skincare, i read the ingredients before i buy something or i research or watch reviews about the product. my skin is in a better condition now compared to before and im using sunscreen everyday and reapplying it as often as i can, even at home. ❤️ i bring sunscreen everywhere i go 😉

Very True, happened to me. Lahat ng sinasabi ni Jan Angelo is the truest. Iniwan ko yung kojic soap sa face ko like 30 secs lang and it dried my face and I developed pigmentation and blemishes. Maybe dahil sensitive or nag react yung allergies ko. Good thing, I watch this channel. Now I know how to take care of my skin. 😉

Last night I was crying and desperate because I've been suffering for breakout since quarantine and I was tempted na what if mag rejuv na lang kaya ako? Then after watching your video parang natakot din ako na baka mas maging worst pa yung skin ko if mag try ako ng rejuv . Sabi mo nga kuya dun sa isa mong video if my problem derma agad hanapin but sadly because of the pandemic I do not have the chance para magpa consult :( I don't know if ako lang ba yung nakaranas ng worst breakout ngayong quarantine. I expected for glow up but glow down yata nangyari sakin :( ang sakit sakit marinig sa ibang tao na "Anong nangyare sa muka mo?" "Ang kinis kinis mo dati" "Kung ano ano siguro ginagamit mo" :( like ginusto ko ba sinadya ko ba hays. But anyway thanks kuya kahit hindi okay skin ko ngayon I feel better kapag napapanood ko mga vids mo paano ba itreat ang skin ng mas gentle, for at least I might struggle for now pero mahalaga hindi ko na maranasan in the future yung mga possible side effects ng dahil sa hindi ko tinreat ng maayos or nag try agad ako ng nakakatakot na rejuv considering na teenager pa lang ako.
Siz try mo magconsult sa derma. Lalo na teenager ka palang dont experiment on products muna. And wag ka magpapafacial siz parang awa mo na. Consult lang po sa derma. Been there, done that.

Why do I feel like same yung story natin? I had the worst break out during the 2nd month sa quarantine and now ko lang na control yung break outs ko after constant researching. Kagaya mo, pinagbabawal din ako lumabas para makahanap ng dermatologist pero out of pity, sabi nalang ng tatay ko na mag order nalang ako sa shopee at sya babayad. So many hit or misses but I finally found a solution that worked for me (tretinoin being the main one). Parang kinakain ko na yung mga content ni dr dray, lab muffin beauty science, hyram, james welsh, at kelly driscoll at na depress na ako dahil sa acne ko huhu. I'm just glad parang may hope na ako now.
Same. Before quarantine makinis yung face ko then ngayong quarantine dahil nasa bahay lang ako bigla akong nagkabreakout. Sa may jaw ako nagkaroon ng matindi. Then few pimples sa ibang areas ng mukha ko. Ang ginamit ko na product is yung beautederm set nila. Nawala yung pimples ko sa mukha after 1 month na gamit. Mahapdi gamitin yung toner nila. Namumula mukha ko pag ginaganit ko pero in good side nawala yung pimples ko. Same din kaya yung beautederm sa ibang rejuv sets?

Glad tretinoin worked for you. Tiwala lang kikinis ulit tayo huhu hopefully mahanap ko na din yung magwowork sakin. Ang hirap kasi iwasan na hindi maapektuhan. Everyday chinecheck ko muka ko ilang beses sa isang araw at nakakalungkot lang kapag nagiging worst pa 😔

I’m glad I discovered your channel, I’m thinking of using rejuvenating set…with what I heard I won’t na Lang… I don’t really have a big problem on my skin (even my derma said so) but I really like to achieve a glowing fair skin. Maybe patience is really a virtue… I will just stick with my skin care routine and target a healthy skin rather than a “peeled-looking” skin.

I love how informative this is. I used a rejuv set way back 2018 before it was a trend. It gave me really good results (though I didn't really have problems with my skin that time) I kept using it. Fast forward to September 2019, I had intense breakouts! And wala ng nag work sakin. It's like nasira ng rejuv set yung skin ko. Wala ng ma tolerate. Anything that stings is not gonna be good for your skin in the long run.

Super ganda nong una kahit walang make up ang glowing and ang kinis ng face ko but now super nipis na ng skin ko kita na yung maliliit na hair sa face ko. enlarged na din yung pores ko plus i have blackheads and dry skin. di ko na alam kung anong gagamitin kong products:(
@@nikita.7748I showed my dermatologist here in US the ingredients of Beauche. So far, she said there's nothing wrong with its ingredients. Do not overuse the exfoliating cream. Maybe 1-2x a week should be fine. I have used beauche for 12 years, so far, my skin is fine. Just use sunprotection generously. Beauche is also milder, not mahapdi like before. It is not irritating anymore.

I love your videos. Please do a video about facial procedures. Is it needed? If so how often should you do the facial treatment?
Here is my opinion from my experience using rejuv twice, I have combination skin. I used the RYX product because it was recommended to me and is quite famous for rejuv sets, even my sister used it and I can say I can see that her skin glowed so much and shine like glass skin (she has oily skin), so I have to try it. I use two types of their product for tests, mild and intense. I used the intense one and it was my first time rejuv, IT HURTS, it was burning, but I use fans and aircon to cool it off lol. Sadly the glass skin effect only lasts in the middle of the rejuv process, where the peeling is almost over. After my rejuv, it's glowy yes, but it's not as glowy as the glass skin I had in my rejuv process. I noticed it too with my sister, she had glass skin and a tight face in her rejuv process, and again sadly after that the glass skin is no more. I can say that I don't see much difference after using it? rather than looking glowy after, but it won't give you the last glow even tho you keep maintaining it.
So pag tinigil po ba yung rejuv is babalik na sa dati yung skin? Or mamaintain padin yung glow? Kahit naistop na si rejuv set?
@@hyunsua6531 pag tinigil po ung rejuv tuloy pa den sya mag pepeel, at first lng po sya nag gloglow pero pag tagal na ay same na den ng dati na type, u cant have glass skin with just rejuv po. Rejuv can only help make your skin a little bit better by removing your layer/dead skin. Maintain nlng po after ng rejuv and make sure na tama ung mga product sa type ng balat nyo

Best for skin cell turnover is retinol lang na European or American brand. As for the most important skincare products - sunscreen, hydrating moisturizer and retinol lang sakalam 😂

Ive been using reju sets for 3 yrs 😬, purging yung tawag sa nag breakout ka and it's different from a pimple. Nag pupurge dahil nag aadjust yung skin sa product but it will eventually go away.
Ano po dapat gamitin after magbrilliant skin grabe mag1month ko na gamit ung rejuv pero namamalat pa den sya hanggang ngaun tas sobrang kati pa.

andami kong friends na nag rerecommend na mag rejuv set daw ako, but I know I wouldn't, watching Kuya Jan, Hyram, Liah, James, Susan, and Beauty Within's videos makes me more knowledgeable sa world ng skincare so I always say nalang na "it's better safe than sorry" sa sarili ko, patience and consistency lang talagaa and I know i will achieve that clear and glowing skin

Effective at first although I experienced skin redness with using rejuv sets to the point na parang ang nipis na ng balat ko, not sure if I am doing it right so i stopped. Until now I am still looking for products na magmamatch sakin and so far I am loving your suggestions! Thank you Jan! ;)

1month na ko nav rejuv, prestige micro peeling lamg na experience ko wala masyado visible. and nawala blemishes ko and dark spot
I forgot where did I watched it but a skincare ingredient formulator said that also products with fragrance have this delaying factor once applied In short, we’re just prolonging the effect of other products we apply because of this fragrance.

@@sumaiyakhan6251 depends on ur skin condition. I strongly recommend to consult your derma first then buy whatever your derma recommends. Don't just buy one and eventually regret it because it did not work.
@@madonnafajanilag9224 apologies for not responding super late, but my skin routine are the following: AM - cleanser, toner, Niacinamide, sunscreen. PM- Cleanser, Toner or essence, Niacinamide, and Moisturiser. I do once or twice a week Chemical Peel and Retinol
I remember Dr. Belo uses product of one of her interview to rejuvenate the skin,.. She uses kojic soap+vit. C serum+sunscreen in morning and in evening routine kojic soap +serum+night cream. Ang problem kay Dr. Belo is she’s a plastic surgeon, kaya it’s kinda hard to get into her advice as she’s not derma.
@@purplerain8187 Belo has a diploma in dermatology in Thailand, Harvard Medical school and University of California. You just can't discredit her like that.
