Dude, you MUST watch the live version on Jimmy Fallon. Quite possibly Lzzy's best live performance of anything, she was absolutely mesmerizing. Selena Gomez was the guest, and you can see her make a beeline to Lzzy when the song is over to tell her how awesome she was.

Was just about to say the same thing. Incredible performance.

I was debating on whether or not to make that one my request. There's just something extra in the delivery when they perform this live that just gets to me every single time.

I highly reccomend "I am the Fire"
The song that introduced me to Halestorm, didn't take long for them to become one of my favourite rock bands! Great video mate👍

It's kinda sad that Halestorm haven't done these dark songs more often. That being said, "Innocence" is the single greatest example of how damn high her vocal register can go.

Funny you should say it sounds like Evanescence/Amy Lee ‘cause Halestorm re-recorded one of their songs “Break in” feat. Amy Lee 👍🏼☺️ It’s kind of a masterpiece if you ask me.
Almost forgot to say I went to a fantastic concert just last night. It was a combined concert with Alter Bridge, Halestorm and Mamoth 🤘🏼

Okay…one last comment about Halestorm or rather Lzzy Hale.
Absolutely love the cover of Ozzy and Lita Ford’s “Close my eyes forever” with Device fronted by David Draiman from Disturbed.

One of my favorite halestorm songs I had a feeling you would like this one

I was in a relationship like this. Took me 8 years to escape. And even then someone else pulled me out by explaining to me in a way that I could understand what they were doing to me. Cause they would ignore me for about 6 days and then show up for one night, and again and again and again. All the time giving me all these fake promises and saying that they want to be sure that I am the one before making it official. Then someone told me to imagine what it would be if they had a whip and a cake, and they would whip me for 6 days and give me the cake on the 7th. That's how I realized what was going on. But this song explains it perfectly. Cause so many times I tried to get away but I was addicted. And I kept waiting for them to stop ignoring me and come over, give me that high. So messed up. I'm happy to be in a normal relationship now. Just still dealing with hate and resentment towards them. Idk how to do that...

I would also like to suggest a song by Dorothy for you to look at if you haven't already. It's technically about liberating yourself from your demons, but to me that song is helping me deal with the hate I feel for that person. The song is called Rest In Peace. I would really appreciate to hear your take on the lyrics, based on the fact that they are about your inner demons, but can be interpreted to be about toxic exes.

If you can find it, hunt down early EARLY Halestorm (like when she was a teen) and a song called Rose in December. Another beautiful song. It also gives you appreciation how solid her vocals have been for decades. She (and the rest of the band) are really down to earth people. We've had the pleasure of meeting them several times.

The video "Break In" with Lzzy Hale and Amy Lee is one of my top songs. Their voices together is bone chilling! Will make the hairs on your arms stand up...

She and Amy Lee are both powerful vocalists, but they are different. Lzzy is pure power live. Saw her (and The Warning!!) in Kansas City July 2022. Was great! (And, I've listened to her music since the 2013ish era...)

Funny you should mention Evanescence because I've always thought this was their Evanescence song. On the flip side, I feel like What You Want is Evanescence's Halestorm song 😄

Btw, if you want Halestorm songs that don't try to rip your face off then there's In Your Room, Break In, Dear Daughter, What Sober Couldn't Say, and Hate It When You See Me Cry.

This is my favorire Halestorm song. I love the dramatic and melancholic vibe. :)
I suggest to reacto to "Lacrymosa" by Evanescence if you want something heavy and dramatic. You can search for the standard rock version from The Open Door or the orchestral version from Synthesis (even better live!). ❤️

This is my all time favorite Halestorm song. I think it was the second one I heard by them, but it was the one that made me fall in love with the group's music. It's even better live; there's just enough extra degree of emotional intensity that comes through. It's practically mesmerizing live.
Even after more than a decade since I first heard this one, it still gives me chills every time I sit down and listen to it.

Yes what an amazing beautiful gift you have Anton to be able to articulate feelings into words . Rewatching this perfect reaction. This is the first song that locked Lzzy in my heart forever ♥️.
