This makes me sooooo beyond happy that I just can't stand it!!!! YES!! 😍😍👏 I really hope they stay and that a female or two show up, then start having pups! They are so very precious and beautiful. 💖
This is so awesome that these two made it this far north! Gets me excited about the possibility of additional individuals already off the southern Oregon coast, moving up north to repopulate.
@@ElakhaAlliance thank you, didn't know. Still a long way to swim. Continuing south, here is a whole lot of excellent potential habitat for them between Cannon Beach and Newport. I hope to see them down there myself in the years ahead.

That's great. Let's hope they'll stay and there will be more over time.
Wow! It’s been such a long time, waiting for them to return.
This has me so giddy!!! Oh man!! That's awesome! Look at these two dudes~
Happy to hear it brought a smile to your face 😄

Hey there - these sea otters actually traveled south from the closest resident sea otter population, which is in Washington off of the Olympic Coast.

They are coming down from the vibrant population on the Olympic Peninsula.
Just adorable. Thanks!
They are definitely a charismatic marine mammal.
Very Cool - Would be great to have you on our podcast @DoubleRShow to chat about the recent spotting and the Elakha Alliance generally.
We'd love that. Please reach out to Info@ElakhaAlliance.org so we can schedule that.
Absolutely Awesome!
We love the opportunity to see our recent visitors to the Oregon coast up close and personal - but also filmed from a respectful distance.
Woohoo!!!❤❤❤
So amazing, right?!
If the two otters get separated they have no cell phones to help them reconnect!
We think you mean... shell phones. 😆
they otter stay for a while
