Thank you for sharing your process! I am a new subscriber, loving the channel so far! Unfortunately I can't find Lexel in Europe, where I live, would you mind sharing an alternative to that clear glue?
Hi, and thanks for your feedback!! Since I don't really know about adhesives in Europe, I'd just suggest you find a thick clear adhesive. If you're making a piece for outdoors, find one that is waterproof. Some name brands in the US are: GE Silicone 2, Lexel, Loctite Clear, I think Gorilla Glue makes a clear adhesive ... Hope this helps!
Great video…as always! Thanks for sharing. I have been using GE low odor silicone because I live in an apartment style condo and have no good ventilation.
@@donnajosephsonblatz5058 🤣 Do you SEE my fingernails in these vids??? They're messy little nubs! But I can still drive the tip of my thumb-nub into the center! LOL!
Thanks! Try local glass shops, ask them if they have any pieces that are unusable, offer to pay a discounted price for them. They may even have a pile of it in the back somewhere. If you want to purchase new, try display retailers who sell glass shelves. Check marketplace/thrift stores. HTH!
Thank you for your great videos! I purchased some of the Lexel but noticed what I have is called "The tough elastic sealant" as opposed to adhesive. I wanted to clarify that yours isn't an adhesive

Thank you! 😊🙏🏼🙏🏼
I never quite got the hang of breaking the glass like that. Guess I need to eat more spinach. LOL. Thanks Miss Susan.
Hi Donna! It helps if you drive your thumbnail into the center of the island! And spinach! 💪🏼

You've got the correct thing! Sorry I created confusion by calling it an adhesive! Have fun!
