Emergency really is a dark chapter in Indian democracy. And those responsible for that should be exposed to the current generation. Mr Tharoor might not have felt the pain. Almost all opposition parties had experienced the undemocratic act of congress rule since most opposition ruled governments were dismissed by congress.First congress party need to bow down in parliament and apologise to the nation for those atrocities.

Emergency issue raised by the Speaker may have been an act to instigate the opposition to create a ruckus and them blame them of misbehavior. Actually if he was impartial he should have raised burning issue of Manipur and what action the Government proposes to take.
