I lived in Germany for over 20 yrs as a Soldier and as a kid. Heidelberg, Nurnberg, Vilseck, Neu Ulm, Schwabish Hall, Crailsheim, Augsburg, Babenhausen......loved living there.
Childhood memory of mine. Early 70's, my Mom took my brother and youngster me to see the Lawrence Welk Show rehearsal LA/Burbank (I think). Somehow my mother (who is originally German, immigrated to USA) found her way on stage when Lawrence Welk needed a polka dancing partner. My mom was very good. I was proud. My brother also went on stage w/ Mr Welk's baton and he led the orchestra. That was our brush w/ celebrityhood.
Jesus, the one food I think of when I think of Czech is their kolaches. Headed just south down I35 is a town called West, when passing through stop and get some of their kolaches, my favorite is the cinnamon pecan ones but all are great.
Wow :D Czech here! This is awesome! I would love to be there and try your beer! I have never seen such an empty dance floor, it must be great to dance there
My wife and I are headed back to the 2021 edition next weekend. The question I have to ask myself, "Am I ready for the abuse. The dancing. The beer. The food. Yes, I am!"
Hey there! Is there any chance we can use part of this clip in a video we are making to help entertain old folks who are stuck inside because of COVID?
